Section of fence installed by OnPoint. Photo taken 5 months after install.

A section of my fence had some panels falling out, so I hired OnPoint to replace the section. The replacement went smoothly and I paid ~$800. About 4 months later I noticed the panels warping and a piece of the wood bowing. I reached out, and they responded promptly and sent someone out to take a look that day. The guy they sent fixed the piece of wood that was bowing, but said there was nothing he could do about the panels separating. Later that day the office manager sent me a one-line email: "It looks like the panels are pre fabricated and we are unable to repair." This was less than five months after installment. I responded asking what the company would do; and received the response: "I'm going to review your project with Serge and I will get back to you on Monday." Monday passes without a response. I followed up Tuesday, and received this email: "The panels were altered by the weather and what the lumber does naturally. After speaking with Todd, he explained to you that these panels came pre fabricated and "in green". Unfortunately, when they expand and contract it can cause movement. The panels were purchased at home depot. We will look into their warranty." More than two weeks have passed and I have heard nothing. Had I been informed that the panels would start separating after just a few months, I would have readily paid more for a higher-quality replacement. Unfortunately, I was not given that option - I (mistakenly) assumed I would be getting a high-quality product. Given the additional cost of staining, I'm now out ~$1K for a brand-new, mediocre-looking section of fencing.

We wholehearted recommend OnPoint Fencing and Decking whose crew did fantastic work installing our new fence and automated driveway gate. Hardworking Todd and Nate built the perimeter fence to fit on our slope and Carlos, Cam and Adrian helped get our gate to fit and operate on our oddly angled driveway. The project MVP, Michael, fabricated the lovely gate and made numerous trips to our site to work out the details. It works like a charm thanks to him. Brittney, our contact person, made sure we got appointment information and all our needs met. She impressed us. Every crew member was personable and professional in interactions with us and seemed genuinely committed to making sure we were 100% happy with our new fence. They succeeded. We had talked to numerous companies about installing an automated driveway gate and fence. This was a project we did not want to do but the increased destructiveness to our gardens by the ever growing local deer herds made it necessary. We are very glad we chose OnPoint Fencing.

On point just finished our new fence and we're extremely happy. There were a few minor hiccups but everyone did everything they could to get it right and we are thrilled. We got bids from multiple companies before moving forward with this project. On point wasn't the cheapest but also not the most expensive. We went with them because we honestly just felt this company would be the best fit, and they were. Brittany and David were phenomenal and would highly recommend them.

Took Full Payment and Vanished, Left DISABLED VETERAN with Unfinished Work and Costly Damages…read more We contracted this company for three projects, and unfortunately experienced issues from beginning to end. Early red flags included repeatedly revised proposals and unexplained "surcharges" amounting to thousands of dollars. The work started late and was plagued by frequent absences and minimal working days with inadequate explanations. The owner was rarely present--we saw him only three times! Most work was performed by younger family members who appeared sporadically, typically once or twice per week. Poor planning resulted in constant material shortages and numerous Home Depot runs that caused significant delays, despite ongoing assurances of completion timelines. Communication was essentially nonexistent--they wouldn't notify us of absences nor respond to scheduling inquiries. The day after we made our third payment (totaling $16,000), Wells Fargo's Fraud Department contacted us regarding questionable deposit practices. The very next day, the crew vanished and stopped responding to all attempts at contact. The work quality was severely deficient: incomplete, improperly executed, and unprofessional throughout. One huge project, despite being paid in full NEVER even got started! When rain came, water infiltrated our home, damaging a room and its contents beneath where the work was started but never completed. The water also leaked through recessed lighting fixtures on a second lower level. A month after he abandoned the project, we learned he hadn't secured the required permits and his insurance had lapsed right before we hired him; and this is not the first time! (Check CCB) That whole time, his uninsured crew, which included a visiting elderly family member who is not a hired employee, worked on our roof! Not obtaining permits left us liable for permit fees (minimum $2,000 EACH for three permits!) plus completion costs and repairs. Taking payment without completing work is morally unacceptable. Abandoning a project with substandard workmanship that subsequently results in damage is worse. But TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED VETERAN who welcomed them into our home and treated them like family is truly beyond REPREHENSIBLE! We're now facing substantial financial losses and more work needed than before the project began. I would strongly advise steering clear of this contractor. Protect yourself and go with an established, REPUTABLE company that has verified positive reviews and a solid history.
