Their "design" services consisted of using the Pinterest photos that we provided and some basic CAD drawings. They didn't show up to an initial meeting, (admitted putting it on their calendar incorrectly, this should have been a red flag), didn't read or respond to multiple emails with important information, didn't incorporate several specific written requests into project plans, and continuously wasted time, but they certainly charged for every minute they may have been even thinking about our project. Of course what we paid would have been a small portion of our overall project budget, but to have received virtually no timelines or final plans, or even basic communication, and to have wasted months of time that could have been used actually planning and completing the project, we decided to cut our losses. Before posting a review, we reached out to the owner, Jeff, (I am always very hesitant to post something that could negatively impact someone's livelihood), but from his defensive response it seems like this is just how they do business, and I feel our experience should be available to anyone considering using their services. UPDATE: Jeff- Thank you for replying to my review. This is the type of reply we would have hoped for after our initial emails to you voicing our concerns and frustrations. Hopefully our experience can help you to serve others better.

Anton, the owner, is a pleasure to work with and is extremely talented. His knowledge and attention to detail is amazing. He listens carefully to his customers and is eager to meet their design needs. We left the area for three weeks while his crew transformed our house. Anton called daily to discuss what they were working on as well as getting our approval on each detail. His team is punctual and conscientious. They leave the work area clean at the end of the day. We are beyond pleased with the work done and of the finished product. You cannot go wrong hiring RMC! You can count on fair pricing, honesty and great communication.

The master bath was about 60sq ft (excluding alcove shower) in a 1999 3-story condo, and the job scope included: demolish/remove original alcove tub, sinks, vanity, mirror, vinyl flooring, baseboards install new tub with 12x24" tile shower walls install new shower fixtures at taller height install 12x12" tile flooring install new plywood, solid-door vanity install new porcelain sinks and hardware install shower curtain rod install vanity backsplash tile install tile baseboards The half bath was about 25sq ft and the job scope included: install new toilet with appropriate flange install new stand-alone vanity install sink fixture Michael and Chevy did the work themselves and met every timeline. Michael was responsive and communicative, quickly notifying us of changes. He got the job done with high-quality standards and within a reasonable timeframe, despite delays and set backs. For example, in late Feb 2025 there was a significant snow/ice storm that delayed the project by 2 days. Michael showed up on the weekends to continue the job to try and make up time. He was consistent, reliable, and transparent. Another example: Our master bath floor was not level enough for the tile, and Michael was clear and open about what had to be done to get the job finished to a top-quality standard. It added a couple days to the timeframe (and some cost), but the final result was well worth it. Last example: The half bath toilet flange had several errors from the original build and contractor work, and the toilet we bought had a manufacturing defect (leak) we found after installing the toilet. Despite these obstacles and added time, Michael brought the flange to code, uninstalled the defective toilet, and installed the defect-free replacement. There were several curveballs with our job and Michael handled them professionally and courteously, making sure we were involved with every change decision along the way. We are thinking about hiring him for our second (guest) bath remodel, and wish him all the success a small business owner can have!

We were so impressed with their work that we're already in the process of getting new estimates from them for our upcoming projects!

From the beginning, Alan was methodical, communicative and prompt. He showed up to give us an estimate and answered my numerous questions about the job at hand. By the end of the same day of his initial visit, we had a detailed estimate in email, which we approved. Our house was remodeled in the past with uniqueness and quality materials in mind, but with 80% completion on many aspects. We needed a contractor who could help complete our unique vision. Alan replaced a large area of cedar shakes on the back of our home, helping erase the evidence of a decayed deck we previously removed. He also crafted a solution for a corner where the previous homeowner didn't seal up the house properly. Alan was organized and gave great attention to detail. He communicated his arrival and departures each day, and ended up finishing ahead of schedule. I am super happy with the level of attention that was paid to each detail of the job, and will hire Alan again for a future project.
