She showed us what to do ahead of time and explained just how to get ourselves ready for a fabulous class. She asked if there was anyone who was new to Paddleboarding and/or yoga and helped those who were new to the practice. We all had a very good time. Afterwards, she was helpful for those who wanted to paddle more or do additional poses. Some did headstand- on the board- wow! Just wow. Great time! Highly recommend this fabulous experience to everyone. If you are in the Hamptons (near Dockers) its a must do for you and your friends and family.

I hadn't fished with a rod in a while and he guided me thru the correct steps enabling me to successfully hook and land many fish. We experienced a beautiful sunset as Eric repeatedly repositioned the boat for drift fishing using his mad knowledge and expertise to place us right near the stripers. I highly recommend taking a trip with Eric if you want to do it right and enjoy time on the water as well. Eric is a meticulously safe and good captain and additionally, is an excellent fishing guide who helped us enjoy a beautiful evening on the sound. Book with Eric for the ultimate fishing experience.

SEVEN STAR FISHING EXPERIENCE Jul 2025 * Friends…read moreFour of us went fishing on Long Island Sound yesterday from 12 pm to approximately 6 pm with Eric, AKA Captain Fish, from Port Jefferson, Long Island. What a glorious experience. It was the first time of deep sea fishing for two of us. We not only caught tons of fish but got wonderful lessons from Eric as to how to do it right. He is a great teacher, always watching and correcting you so that you don't develop bad habits, but doing so with a ready smile. He is also very ethical and would only let us keep porgies (11 inches +) and sea bass (16.5 inches +) that meet regulation. Our end of the day haul was 30 large sized fish which was way beyond expectation. Most importantly we had 6 hours of pure fun. Also, his boat is extremely clean and well kept. If you ever want to go deep sea fishing, look no further and just call Eric / Captain Fish! I have already recommended him to all my friends who are chomping at the bit to go. They are, I bet a little envious as well - wondering how a novice like me could so much fish. All credit goes to Eric!

We were a group of seven, so our options were their tritoon or motorboat. But since we waited 'til the last minute, only the 'toon was available. But all good - we had a great time. You can rent for a half day (4 hours) or full day. We did a half day (1-5pm) with the option to extend it a few hours for extra $, which we turned down. Book and pay online; and show up early for waivers (every passenger must sign). They rec' showing up 15 min early for that, which we did, but after my beau did the test drive, we didn't hit the water until 15 min past our res, and then we returned 20 min early because we're unfamiliar with the time/distance to return... so we lost a half our on the water :/ Next time, we'll remember our noodles or ask about renting some water toys.

There's a clean bathroom toward the back of the lot, complete with a shower. So, after you get all nasty from kayaking in the sun for a couple hours, you can clean up and change into dry clothes. The staff was super. Very polite and helpful. From the dock, you pull past docked boats, and right out into the river. It's a gentle ride. Very little current. And it's a no wake zone for a decent distance. Perfect for beginners. The 2 routes they recommend are 1. Into the bird sanctuary, or 2. Past a bridge (route 105?), round an island, and come back. They recommended doing only one of the 2 due to time. But we were able to do both and come back with plenty of time left of our 2 hour trip. A great introduction to kayaking.

We arrived 1/2 hour late, and they were able to hold our equipment and it made no difference in our reservation... 4 hours began at the time that we stepped out of their office. They have a restroom for the public in the next building over, which was kept clean and stocked. A gentleman helped us into our kayaks and sent us off. The river is beautiful, though because it's quite wide, you need to share it with yachts and boats of various sizes. This creates some waves, and they can be a pain in the ass. In general, people on the water are cool with each other, but there are some (maybe it's a Long Island thing) who feel so superior in their big beautiful boats and treat you like a pipsqueak in their way. As I was all the way to the right side of the river, while returning to the dock, a boat came up behind me. I turned around, looked at the guy driving, and he made a hand motion to say "move over to the left." I thought I was blocking his way into his dock, but he passed me by and kept going straight! Like WTF? That has nothing to do with L.I. Canoe Kayak Rentals, I'm just commenting on the experience in general. To add to the experience, there are some really nice spots with exposed sand (when it's not high tide) that you can hang out along and explore nature. There's a bird sanctuary as well... which wasn't really that impressive, but that may have just been my timing. When we returned to the dock, we pulled in our kayaks and there was no one present to help us out. A couple of ladies pulled their kayaks in, and one needed help getting out, so we provided that help ourselves. I wasn't so impressed about that aspect of this business, though I realize it's probably a lot to ask for them to have someone standing on the dock all day to receive people who are returning. It wasn't a cheap trip, but I'd likely return. I will probably check out some other places first though.

I was very stressed because obviously it had to jump out of a plane and I did not feel comfortable about it. That being said it was the best thing that I ever did. I thought I would have the fear of the free fall effect, which immediately as soon as you jump out of the plane, you do not feel that. All the instructors and photographers, the staff were extremely friendly and cooperative. It made you feel very at ease with all that. The most incredible experience!…read more As a 40th birthday gift from Hubs and Bubs, I finally got to jump out of a plane. I have talked about doing this for years, and even have done daring things, but I had yet to do it, until now. GoJump made this experience pretty quick, seamless and made you feel super comfortable given the high intensity of the activity. You fill out the waiver on the tablet which was to the left when you walk in. After that's complete, you check in over at the front desk. You settle up the final bill there because thats where you can pick if you want pictures/video and what package you would like. There is one with just a handcam and then the second is the handcam and another jumper filming you from an outside POV. I just did the handcam which was sufficent enough. It came with a TON of stills of me along my skydiving journey. It also came with an edited video which first features the jump itself, and then a video of the whole experience from being harnessed up to the jump itself. Shout out to Steve, the COO, who was our harness guy. Having him give me the background of the whole operation added that much more to the whole thing. Coming in and sticking around New York while they set up their newest location makes me hold a lot of respect for the whole operation. He was just a super cool dude as well. Rohrbeck was my instructor and he was the dopest! He made me feel super comfortable from the jump. He also made sure Hubs and I got a picture at the very beginning before taking me up. It's really indescribable. A 10 minute flight takes you 8000 feet up. It was the nicest day. I could see to connecticut. I looked over the beach. I saw Long Island in a way I never thought I would see it before and it was even more beautiful. I know I hate on LI sometimes, but it is part of me and at that moment I was proud.
