This place has the WORST customer service..bought a jetski from them last month..turns out when it was time for me to make a payment for my loan..they never sent my information to the bank!!!! Instead of working with me and trying to come to a solution all I got was an ATTITUDE from them especially the sales person Alyssa who was threatening me on the phone in the background talking about taking the ski back from me ..as if it was my fault they never sent the pAperwork..also a month later i still don't have the permanent registration for the ski!! instead of offering to help or make the first payment they wouldn't do ANYTHING ...I would never recommend them to anyone EVER again ..being busy is one thing but forgetting to send someone's paper work is RIDICULOUS read more

I bought a 2005 kawsaki STX 15-F from here with the help of an unreliable and crooked salesman named Ronnie. I put a few hours on the machine and did not use it much last year. I took it out for the first time this year and it started taking on water. I brought it back for him to see what he could do, and he charged me $90 to look at it to tell me there was nothing he could do. He would not even make good on it. Terrible business, terrible customer service, and a terrible dealer. When I went to pick it up I had to wait over 40 minutes because they could not find a staff member to take it to my truck from the yard. Every employee was "busy and doing something else". I would not reccomend this dealer to anyone. Stay away!!! read more

Mariners Cove Marine is like being on a resort somewhere in the Caribbean. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is always there to help and the privacy of this secluded and pristine beach is loved by the marinas members. I love the fact that after a day of beach and boating or jet skiing I can clean the fish at the fish cleaning station before showering in the immaculate rest rooms. There is something there for everyone. There is a playground for children. I love taking my paddleboard out from the beach there. There are four restaurants that I can paddle to which is just another thing that makes this a great spot. Family friendly and pet friendly it's Mariners Cove Marine for me. read more

I took my 2009 Yamaha jet boat here because 1 engine would stall out at high RPMs. After a week, I was told by Ron my spark plugs needed to be replaced and the cost is $400. In my head I knew I was getting screwed but then again, I'm not the expert. The 'old' plugs were less than 2 weeks old but anything can happen. He said they bay tested the boat and it ran strong. After a brought the boat home I noticed the hull was spotless. No dry salt spots. They never took it out. I took the cover off and the inside was covered with muddy foot prints. My boat was spotless when I brought it there. The next day I took the boat out and, of course, the problem was still there. To make a long story short, the problem was with the swim platform hatch for the clean out plugs. The 1 pressure switch was loose. At high RPMs, the vibration shook the switch and it would kill the engine. I fixed it in 5 minutes with a piece of duct tape. read more

We bought a boat from Ronnie the owner based on a good friends recommendation and it was very disappointing to say the least. He is completely unprofessional. We waited 2 hours for our boat to be ready after paying for it. Supposably it was a "new boat" 2011 model but it didn't have an anchor. It also had a torn captains chair which we were told would be replace because it was under warranty. We are still waiting for it. The battery went dead several times and the radio was broken which hasn't been replaced yet. What eve you do stay clear of this operation. They are con artist!!!!! read more

Just bought yamaha FSH19 and we couldn't be happier with the service. When we picked it up it was all ready to go. JP went over the boat with us and we didn't feel rushed. I took my Yamaha waverunner to this place because it wouldnt go past 25-30-mph. The owner Ronnie told me it was the Catalytic converter and it would cost approximately $800 to fix. It needed something called a "D" Plate and chip. So I agree and authorize him to fix the waverunner. Did some research on my own , and all reports indicated it should have cost about $500 give or take to do this. So I called Ronnie to question the $800 quote and he told me it needed a fuel filter also and some gaskets which were a minimal cost to say the least. So I reluctantly agree and tell him to do the work. A week later he called my up and said well we replaced the "D" plate and the other items but the waverunner is still not going above 25-30mph. He now states that I need my carbs rebuilt at a cost of $1000. He did say the good news was that the original bill came in at $754 instaed of $800. Really...thats the good news!!! He is now stating that what I am failing to grasp is that I had two problems. If I originally had two problems then why didnt you tell me that from the beginning. After all they are the professionals and it is their job as any other mechanic whether marine or automotive, to accurately diagnose the problem from the beginning. So lets recap, I brought my waverunner to MARINER'S COVE in Hampton Bays NY because it wouldnt go past 25-30mph. I paid over $800 with tax and my waverunner still wont go past 25-30mph. I totally felt that they had that "I need them more than they need me attitude" Never a good business practice in my book. I just moved to the hampton bays and really wanted to start using local small businesses such as marine ,automotive mechanics etc... to start building relationships in the community. I can assure you it won't be with Mariners Cove. read more
