Clearly, they didn't clean out & winterize the engine properly. We got charged another ridiculous amount of money for what was included on the bill from storing it. When we first picked it up for the season, they knew we were coming after hours & didn't put any gas in it so we needed Sea Tow's help. We didn't think to bring gas bc it's a short ride & we never had that problem in the past. After deciding to store it in our yard, we discovered these holes that could only have been caused by their storage methods. They painted over the holes. One had been taking on water. We will never use them again.

Capt Rons shark charter was the worst fishing charter ever…read more CONS: center console boat, no head, filthy porta potty, had to use a bucket to crap, no toilet paper, had to urinate off the back of the boat, the only seat was in splash zone, had to stand behind console going out and coming back in (10 miles). PROS: NONE This charter should have been rescheduled by Capt Ron due to rough seas, instead he took us out and asked us what we wanted to do. After the charter the capt walked past us as if he didn't know us.

I was surprised to see a fairly well stocked store, with tackle and boating supplies and of course, bait. Spoke with the owner for a few minutes and realized they're a full service mechanic as well. I do most of my own repairs but the boat has suffered because I've been too busy lately, and most mechanics/yards are either too busy, too expensive or both. After speaking with John, he seemed like a good enough guy so I took a chance and dropped off my boat for repair. Long story short - I had the boat back quickly, and the repair was done right for a very reasonable price. Considering anything associated with the word 'marine' typically involves a shakedown, this was a very pleasant experience. Not that I'm looking forward to doing more repairs, but I'm glad to know that there's a reasonably priced and trustworthy family run shop within driving distance should I need them.
