I take a narcotic for a debilitating pain condition. There is a new rule here that you can only…read morefill a narcotic prescription one day before it runs out. I attempted it on the app yesterday and it said that it was too early. I used the app earlier today and there was an option to refill the narcotic, which I touched, and it went through. I called at 7pm to see when it would be ready, and the pharmacist Allison told me that it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. I explained that I was out and couldn't stop taking it abruptly. She told me that she understood that, but that she had 7 prescriptions "ahead of mine" which she had to fill tonight (this was 2 hours before closing time.) I was told that to refill narcotics, I had to call the pharmacy and couldn't go through the CVS Pharmacy App. If that were the case, the app should state that and not have an option to order it through the app. I know that I will be writhing in pain for 12 hours until 10am tomorrow. This didn't seem to matter to the pharmacist Allison at all. I even called back two more times to try to get her to understand and fill my Rx, but she wasn't having it. I worked in the healthcare field for more than 30 years, and I would NEVER have let someone suffer like that if I could prevent it--and Allison did it with so little apparent empathy. In addition, I've driven to pick up my prescriptions 4 times this year only to be met with a sign in the drive-thru stating that the pharmacy was closed because there was no pharmacist on duty. No one could even pick up Rx's that had been filled earlier because a pharmacist has to be present for any prescriptions to be released. With the rule that only allows narcotic prescriptions to be filled one day before the previous prescription runs out--that cut it mighty close on each occasion. Take note of the horrible reviews here and be warned. I've had it with Williston CVS. I'm switching pharmacies tomorrow.

It literally took them almost 10 mins to checkout one guest, they were moving slow per usual and normally when I come to Walgreens I'm usually in and out fast and efficient, but for some reason this location just needs some improvement with their staff. It was so bad that some guy in front of us allowed us to get in front of him because we only had like 2 items to check out while he had a few, which was really nice of him. There were two cashiers, so things were moving quickly for 10pm. My cashier asked me about my itema, and said something to the affect..."I see you midnight snack, but what are you having for breakfast?" She was being floksy and nice, but it was the sincerity and positivity in glher voice that made me check that she was not my neighbor, and we weren't chatting over the backyard fence. It was such a nice feeling to find such a genuine person in a place that is juat a retail store.
