There were two cashiers, so things were moving quickly for 10pm. My cashier asked me about my itema, and said something to the affect..."I see you midnight snack, but what are you having for breakfast?" She was being floksy and nice, but it was the sincerity and positivity in glher voice that made me check that she was not my neighbor, and we weren't chatting over the backyard fence. It was such a nice feeling to find such a genuine person in a place that is juat a retail store.
