I gave a friend a ride to pick up her prescription at the store on college road Ocala and at the…read morewindow the pharmacist said the price was $228.00 for thirty day supply. We asked if the was the GoodRX price and the person looked and then stated the GoodRX price was $188.00 and she paid with her credit card. When I dropped her off at her home I went home and asked her to send me a picture of the bottle and the pill inside. She did and I looked it up on GoodRX app only to find that the GoodRX price was $23.35 !!!!! I was furious and told my friend. She was able to get out to go back there and complain about being ripped off for over $165.00! It was three weeks later when we could get back there and the pharmacy said that she needed the receipt that was attached to the bag that most people throw out before they could issue refund. The pharmacy did provide a copy of the sale in their system and gave us a copy of it. Three weeks passed and we went to get another prescription picked up found that they had done the same thing again the bill was over $328.00 and when we challenged the price the total for that order was around $33.07 ! when we presented the documents and the tall old seemingly lazy pharmacist so he claimed and said that too much time had transpired and that she could not get a refund of the intentional overcharge of $165.00. I wish I had hit record on my phone to put his comments on social media but I had expected them to make it right and issue the refund of the intentional overcharge. Amazon $5.00 Sam's Club $12.25 and Walmart was $18.00 for the same prescription. In closing many if my family member have sworn by Walgreens and after I shared with them our experience and let them decide whether they choose to ever do business with them again! I was told when I called last week and spoke with corporate customer (dis)service that she could call and submit a claim and that it would be reviewed and quite likely refunded. My friend is afraid to do it . But she will do it this week and if needed I will be there when she calls. It is my hope and prayer that they do what is right and in addition that they terminate the employment if that pharmacist and that employee that blatantly lied to us at the drive up that day as well The aforementioned statement is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge Pstr JFBSR

After reading many other reviews it seems I'm not the only one that has a problem with the staff and their bs laws. It seems they're the only one held to this standard. I only come here because its close to where I live. Never again. Fk them and their stupid company. This is an addon from what I wrote below. Worst incompetent pharmacy ever. Don't come here they cant do simple math and with hold your prescriptions. They claim some kind of bs law. Then tell me why when I go to a non corporation pharmacy they give me the medication and say thanks for coming and have a nice day. The only time they said Id have to wait is if the insurance wouldn't cover it, but guess what you can still buy it and they wont give you a hard time. Walgreens is ran by a bunch of backward morons that don't know their a$$ from their elbow. Stay clear away from this pos company. They love to mess with your medications that you need. How she going to tell me that I got a 30 day supply and it was 31 days in the month and she claims to give me an extra. Btch just give us the medication the Dr wrote and move on. NOOOOO they make a big deal out of everything. Worst company stay away from this scummy company. I wish I could sue the crap out of them for being this scummy and stupid. Sick and tired of being denied the medication the Dr wrote for us to take. They do this and mess everything up and blame it on you. This is the 3rd time this crap company did this. I rather spend 10 dollars in gas to go to a competent pharmacy who doesn't do this BS. Fk you Shtgreens and all that work in this pharmacy f u to. Scum.

The recent installation of the new automated flat-panel displays at the pharmacy counter has made…read morethe pickup process significantly worse. CVS has essentially removed the human element from the initial transaction, leaving customers to navigate a screen instead of speaking with a staff member. Key Issues: * Zero Human Interaction: There is no longer a person to greet you or answer immediate questions. If you have a concern about your medication or insurance, you are stuck behind a screen. * The process is totally inflexible. For example, I needed to make a change in one of my prescriptions, but there's no way to do that, so what I had to do was go through the entire process and eventually a staff member brought me the prescriptions, which I then had to hand back to the staff member with instructions on how I needed to modify the prescription so basically we had to repeat the entire process again. One of the prescriptions had to be undone and refilled and added about 20 minutes to my wait at the pharmacy counter. It was interesting to hear other people standing next to me using the screens commenting to each other, and to me about what a terrible process this is. I've cleaned that up a little bit for publication. This reminded me to some extent of what would happen in the corporate setting when a recent college graduate got to put his or her " brilliant new idea" into practice and roll it out to the customer. * Confusing Interface: The system forces you through a tedious series of questions that are poorly designed and counter-intuitive. * Significant Delays: What used to be a quick exchange of a name and date of birth now takes two to three times longer. The automation hasn't streamlined the process; it has added unnecessary friction. * Lack of Support: This new system feels like a punishment for the customer. It makes getting vital information extremely difficult and creates a barrier between the patient and the pharmacist. I hope management reconsider this "upgrade." Pharmacy services require a level of personal care and efficiency that a flat-panel screen simply cannot provide. And this particular pharmacy has a wonderful staff who have always provided great service.

Buyer, beware!! I…read moreused to have good luck at CVS pharmacy. I always use the app to fill prescriptions and pay for them. My husband was picking up one prescription that I had already paid for and the clerk filled another that I had not wanted. He wasn't sure if I needed it or not and wanted to be on the safe side by picking it up. He was charged $80 when i usually pay four dollars. He went back within a few days trying to figure out why this had happened and they told him there was nothing they could do. I called and they said they could have swapped it out for a different plan like good RX and it would've only been $25 but it had to have been done within two weeks. Unfortunately it is now past that time, and they will not do anything. very disappointing that they would not support their customers and would happily charge $80 for something that is normally four dollars and not take responsibility for what their employees are telling their customers. Very disappointing. Walgreens assists their customers by making suggestions when they pick up their prescriptions and the cost seems out of line. CVS obviously does not do that as the manager Phuong told me today. Please be aware and consider using Walgreens if you are able.
