It was the last day to pick up the item, but my mother was in cardiac ICU in the hospital so my husband called to see if they could hold the order another day and he would pick it up for me. The girl on the phone said no problem at all. The next day I received a notice that my order had been cancelled. My husband called and told them what happened and had to speak to 3 different people including the manager. I paid with a gift card and it was used up so I threw it out and they didn't know what to do. The manager finally go on the phone and said she'd contact customer service. It's been days and have not heard anything back at all. I understand I didn't come and get it to begin with, but don't tell someone you are going to hold it and then cancel it and then say we will contact customer service and then not contact back. No one knew what to do. I couldn't get my money back from my gift card. It just added more stress since my mom was already in the hospital. She is what is most important though, but I wish the staff knew what they were doing. No one knew what to do and didn't say sorry or really cared. I ask for gift cards every Christmas for Ulta but I think I'll pass next year.

They negotiate on the price of the cream to get you to buy it and then have you back for a so-called facial for you and your wife. Well, it isn't a facial but instead they tell you that someone is in from Miami and they will use a red light machine on your face which costs $12,000. I have looked up these places which are independently owned across the U.S. and they have similar complaints. They got me for $350 for the cream for which I am embarrassed. I threw it out. Buyer beware! I don't know about other services but definitely not for me!!

Well, today I found that perfect fit at Suly Beauty Salon. The owner, Suly Suleiman, was wonderful. He saved my hair from a disastrous color and cut that I had prior at a different salon. I just about gave up finding a stylist that would listen and understand what I wanted. First Suly talked about the color. What I had was dark here and light there, not very attractive. The color he gave me is absolutely beautiful. And the cut! Suly is an artist; what he can do with a scissors and a blow dryer is amazing. But the verdict for me is washing and styling my hair myself.
