This CVS Pharmacy does NOT deserve a single star, my experience was horrible.
I turned in a prescription on 25 Sept. My Script is a controlled substance and had to be ordered, (understandably). I was told, by the short female pharmacist that she would contact us once it came in. A week after turning it in, no call, or text ever came. I called the pharmacy, my husband called the pharmacy. We were given the run around.
I let a day pass and called them again. Finally I'm told there is a so called "glitch in the system" and my script was never ordered. This glitch they claimed had to do with my Doctors ID #, yet they never called my Doctor, never notified me. They assured me they were working on it, numerous days passed, patiences is gone! Once again both my husband and I contacted the Pharmacy to check on the status on my prescription I haven't been able to take now for almost 2 weeks.
I finally contact my Doctor and had to explain the stupidity of the CVS Pharmacy in Wildwood, Fl. CVS never called my Doctor at all to resolve this.....Everyone at the Doctors office is now scrambling to ensure I get back on my medication. My Dr. Office gave me a one month supply while I go through this drama. I drive to pick it up medi's at my Doctors office.
WHILE in transit I called CVS Pharmacy to notify them I'd be picking up my hard copy prescription and changing pharmacies since they can't seem to pull their chit together. I was then told, I couldn't pick it up, they would send it to the pharmacy of my choice. I was to "ALLOW THEM AN HOUR" to send it to Publix Pharmacy...... *Crickets*
I called Publix Pharmacy 1.5 hours later to see if they received it... SHOCKER, they never got it. Fed up with 2 weeks and 1 full day later (10 October). I called CVS Pharmacy againnnn to say, I'm coming up there to pick up my prescription MYSELF, "Have it ready!" To which a girl on the phone told me, "Oh, we can fill this!" I said, "well you haven't for 2 weeks, now you can suddenly fill it?"
No......I'm picking it up, NOW! I'm done with your Pharmacy, so I drive up there.... I go to the counter, and was told by a very RUDE TECH, that she can't give me my hard copy Prescription because it's a controlled medication. I informed her I had hand carried it into them and I'm taking it with me. They are not legally allowed to withhold it from me.
Then the conversation went to, oh we sent your script to Publix Pharmacy..... Me: Hmmmm, when? The rude one says, 45 minutes ago! I said, umm that's interesting, I just called them 5 minutes ago, and they never got it! Back and forth 3 times this girl basically called me a liar. She said loudly to me, " AND YOU, can go have a seat, OVER THERE!" I said, ummm excuse me? No, I'm not sitting over there, I came for my prescription. Then she calls the LP officer on me, has LP standing behind the counter with her as if a 125 pound, 62 years old, Is going to some how leap over the counter and harm her? Lol
She proceeds to call Publix to prove me wrong, and low and BEHOLD! Publix's Pharmacy never received my prescription! Duh! She never apologized, after 30 minutes she finally hands me my prescription and scribbles a note to Publix Pharmacy on a sticky note and attaches it to the back of my prescription about me
Btw, ole rude ass... you are a joke, your nasty gram was laughed about, it showed your lack of maturity and the stupidly of WILDWOOD PHARMACY! No apologies of course! You try going two weeks without your medication for your chronic stomach pain and see if it doesn't upset you too!
If you live in the Wildwood Florida area, do NOT EVER use this CVS Pharmacy, the customer service is horrible, they Jack you around, the female pharmacist is abrasive and rude, the techs are rude. No apologies were ever once given to me for their lack of professionalism in not filling my prescription.
Go to Publix, they have a 5 star rating. Publix Pharmacist got my prescription to me the following day, ZERO Issues! Less then 14 hours! read more
