The staff on the floor and at the registers have always been friendly, and several even recognize us when we walk in. However, this was my first time using the customer service desk -- and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. For months, I've been trying to find Armour Vienna Sausage - Reduced Sodium. None of the four Publix locations near me have had it in stock. Two weeks ago, I asked the cashier about it, and they suggested placing a special order at customer service. Great idea, I thought. I went to the desk, explained the situation, and the employee checked the back before offering to order a case for me. I filled out the form and was told they would call when it arrived. The next day, I stopped by again and was told it usually takes 2-3 days. Two weeks passed with no call. When I returned to ask about the order, Kristen at the desk was helpful and contacted someone named Matt to check on it. He called back and said there was no record of any order at all. As we were talking, the original employee who took my order walked in and said, "All we do is put the order in the basket -- after that it's up to them." Not exactly the kind of answer that inspires confidence. The assistant manager, David, eventually came out but didn't introduce himself until I asked. While I explained the situation, he typed on his handheld device and told me another store "might" have some, even though I had already checked. Then he asked if I wanted to place the order again. At that point, the answer was no. It's disappointing that a store known for customer service dropped the ball so completely. I ended up ordering the product from Walmart online, and it will be delivered this week. The lack of follow‑through -- and the dismissive comment from the employee -- was the final straw.

Couple tips for people who want the best experience: 1) Put a card on file so you have Express Pay - that way, if you go inside, you can go to the quick checkout line and bypass everyone else usually. 2) Use the automated phone system to do refills, so you don't have to wait in line to drop them off. 3) Sign up for text alerts - I get text alerts when my prescriptions are ready for pickup, or if there is a delay. Saves me a lot of time waiting in line, only to find out things aren't ready. 4) Do the drive through - I pretty much exclusively just do the drive through. The line isn't usually very long and the staff has always been helpful and friendly to us. 5) If you need to drop off a prescription or ask a question, also do the drive through. It is difficult to call and get a person, especially during peak times. We've been using this pharmacy for about a year and a half and I have two people in my family who have multiple, regular prescriptions and I've never had a problem. The staff is always nice and always willing to answer any questions I have. Remember also - staff is on lunch break from 1:30-2:00 everyday.

And to top it off all these food items were frozen dinner items. For a holiday meal I expect homemade items and not frozen gravy.
