I was in desperate need of a special medication which was called in by my medical specialist. I called the pharmacy hoping to speed up the process and to possibly arrange pickup of the medication for transport to my treating physician. Gene answered the phone. He was polite and professional. Upon my arrival, Gene greeted me and again displayed friendly and professional manner. The medication was ready and I was quickly on my way to my specialist's office. I recommend this business without hesitation and I thank Gene for his role in getting me to feel better as quickly as possible.

The aisles are much wider than we are used (large footprint) to in Orlando so it offers an elevated experience and is easier to navigate. This is not over-the-top-hospitality; but, the fundamentals (that are absent and accepted in other businesses) and something that we recognized when entering this Publix store. Different months, different days and each time I schedule something (even confirmed the appt the day before) I get calls an hour before saying that either the stylist is not in or unavailable and no one else can help. So even if I wanted to call and speak with someone to reschedule, they weren't open yet. They intentionally cancelled my appointment when I wouldn't be able to speak with anyone. This very last time I had entered the store and could not find one employee to help me. There was not one sales associate on the floor. I then waited by the dressing room with numerous amounts of items in my hands, not knowing they were unlocked. Finally someone walks out and says you can just go in. Once at checkout again I waited over 5 mins for anyone to even notice I was up there. Attitude and personality go a long way and not one associate had a positive attitude. I'm just saying lack of employees visible to a customer can probably cause horrible LP issues in this store.

When we walked in, no one greeted us or asked if we needed help, even though the store wasn't busy. At checkout, I politely asked several times for my items--especially the candles--to be double‑bagged. The cashier insisted it wasn't necessary and refused, which was frustrating since it was a simple request meant to prevent the bags from breaking. Once outside, I asked my friend to go back in and request two bags. Even then, the same cashier made her feel uncomfortable for asking before finally handing them over. A basic request like an extra bag shouldn't be an issue, and it certainly doesn't cost the employee anything. The overall service could definitely be improved, especially when it comes to friendliness and accommodating reasonable customer needs.
