The recent installation of the new automated flat-panel displays at the pharmacy counter has made the pickup process significantly worse. CVS has essentially removed the human element from the initial transaction, leaving customers to navigate a screen instead of speaking with a staff member. Key Issues: * Zero Human Interaction: There is no longer a person to greet you or answer immediate questions. If you have a concern about your medication or insurance, you are stuck behind a screen. * The process is totally inflexible. For example, I needed to make a change in one of my prescriptions, but there's no way to do that, so what I had to do was go through the entire process and eventually a staff member brought me the prescriptions, which I then had to hand back to the staff member with instructions on how I needed to modify the prescription so basically we had to repeat the entire process again. One of the prescriptions had to be undone and refilled and added about 20 minutes to my wait at the pharmacy counter. It was interesting to hear other people standing next to me using the screens commenting to each other, and to me about what a terrible process this is. I've cleaned that up a little bit for publication. This reminded me to some extent of what would happen in the corporate setting when a recent college graduate got to put his or her " brilliant new idea" into practice and roll it out to the customer. * Confusing Interface: The system forces you through a tedious series of questions that are poorly designed and counter-intuitive. * Significant Delays: What used to be a quick exchange of a name and date of birth now takes two to three times longer. The automation hasn't streamlined the process; it has added unnecessary friction. * Lack of Support: This new system feels like a punishment for the customer. It makes getting vital information extremely difficult and creates a barrier between the patient and the pharmacist. I hope management reconsider this "upgrade." Pharmacy services require a level of personal care and efficiency that a flat-panel screen simply cannot provide. And this particular pharmacy has a wonderful staff who have always provided great service. read more

Buyer, beware!! I used to have good luck at CVS pharmacy. I always use the app to fill prescriptions and pay for them. My husband was picking up one prescription that I had already paid for and the clerk filled another that I had not wanted. He wasn't sure if I needed it or not and wanted to be on the safe side by picking it up. He was charged $80 when i usually pay four dollars. He went back within a few days trying to figure out why this had happened and they told him there was nothing they could do. I called and they said they could have swapped it out for a different plan like good RX and it would've only been $25 but it had to have been done within two weeks. Unfortunately it is now past that time, and they will not do anything. very disappointing that they would not support their customers and would happily charge $80 for something that is normally four dollars and not take responsibility for what their employees are telling their customers. Very disappointing. Walgreens assists their customers by making suggestions when they pick up their prescriptions and the cost seems out of line. CVS obviously does not do that as the manager Phuong told me today. Please be aware and consider using Walgreens if you are able. read more

Worst customer service experience I've ever had! I stopped through CVS on CR466 to pick up some things for my mother who lives nearby. The cashier was LOVELY! She was very patiently helping her customer, so I decided to be patient and wait. No Problem! More customers came, so she reminded us there were self checkout kiosks available. None of us took her up on the offer. I didn't wish to use the self checkout. I have no idea why no one else did. Maybe they, too decided to patiently wait. All was well. Things were about to move along anyway. Next thing I know, some guy I have never seen is grabbing my items and putting them through the self check process. I tried to explain that if I wanted to, I was fully capable of doing that myself, but he rudely interrupted with his demands that I use this machine as he made a scene by grabbing my items. I felt very intimidated and abused. I should have left, but instead I checked out with shaking hands. Being unprepared for self check out I did not have my wallet handy so when I set my backpack down to fetch it, the machine it malfunctioned. Loooooooooong sad story short, all the people who were behind me checked out before the machine worked again. I should have just left but my mother needed her medicine. I am shaking as I write this because if this man had treated my mother this way, I'm not sure what I'd do! I went back to lodge a complaint in person. He has no business serving the public especially in a 55 and over community. He was completely unrepentant today and blamed "corporate"when I went back to speak to the manager because UNFORTUNATELY, he is the manager! Can you believe it? Avoid this store. read more

I am a regular shopper at this Pharmacy in that I get my prescriptions refilled here as well as shop the front of the store. When entering the store, I am usually greeted with a friendly smile, a hello and may I help you find something. The back of the store pharmacy department is the same way as well. read more

I came here for Pfizer vaccine. Made appointment on line. When I came to the store there was a lady at the door to check me in and direct me to the vaccination area. I was taken in immediately and lady gave me my shot it was painless. I sat in the wating area 15 minutes. What impressed me was they had a young lady observing the people in the area looking for side effects. They are a well oiled machine here read more

I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service the pharmacy provided my Mom. She asked for some assistance with the covid testing and she was yelled at by an employee. I am beyond upset that a CVS employee treated my mom that way especially during a pandemic when things are already tough. If I lived in the area I would go directly to the CVS to file a complaint with the Manager. read more

I usually go to Walmart to shop, but have been going to my local CVS lately, because I dont want to be bothered with the huge lines and only 1 register open. I wanted to do this survey so I could specifically tell you how impressed I am with Humumchand. I only needed milk and 2 bottles of water for my thirsty daughters, but poor Humumchand was "blessed" with 2 very intense "villages type" customers, very impatient, and seemed to have a smart and pathetic way of showing their appreciation for the way, and rules CVS does things they way they do. one man kept telling him "if you had the new system, you could do it this way!" for some reason, the man couldn't face the reality that Humumchand had a process that needed to be followed with the system he has. Humumchand kept his cool, and didn't skip a beat with his awesome customer service. please keep him on staff for a very long time, hes the bomb! from one happy customer! read more

Just went through drive through and there different staff members required to receive my meds. No one said hi, boo, very sad group. No customer skills! Not one word says a great deal about pharmacy management. At all cost avoiding this location is advised because it's obvious that is there desire. read more

I refuse to step foot in this store again even though my insurance requires that I use CVS. I am transferring my meds to the mail order program as they are the the laziest bunch of people starting with the pharmacist who was on duty yesterday. Instead of transferring my 3 Rx like I was promised the scripts were apparently deleted and the pharmacist had a I don't give a care attitude. He told me it was up to me to call the other CVS and find out what happened to my scripts after he made me feel like a liar as though the scripts never existed in the first place! I was at CVS for nearly one hour and accomplished nothing and after speaking to the other CVS who had the original scripts I found out that the were deleted and that I have to start all over again with my MD office. Mind you it is a weekend and I am totally out of two of my pills. Thank you CVS for the care that even a Walmart cashier extends more courtesy than what your lazy pharmacist showed me. read more

Terrible! Waited for help for five min. No one in sight. Ordered pictures for pick up here. Wont do that again. They had about six people waiting in line. Finally got help for that but they looked right at me waiting by the photos and she actually told the other cashier not to help me. Its a shame. The store is set up beautifully and i have been in before and enjoyed the shopping experience. Wont be back again. Walgreens and Target here I come again. read more

I hate cvs as it is but Walgreens no longer excepts my insurance.. They told me I had to wait 24 hours to transfer my script... Refused to call the Walgreens to get it done sooner... Then when it was suppose to be ready they forgot to fill and I had to wait there for another 30 mins.. Called store manager to try to hurry it up. She was helpful.. I just had another script that the Walgreens sent over to a different cvs for me and it was sent in late but filled the very next morning so it is just this store that just doesn't give a crap about its customers... The medicine I had is not a medicine you can just stop taking I had bad withdraws from not taking it. I didn't know that they didn't give a crap about you or I would have tried to fill sooner. My fault for not filling sooner but the lack of sympathy and the just complete not caring attitude of the pharmacy at this location is crazy... I would never come to this location for the pharmacy again... Do not go to this pharmacy! Pick another location! Oh and for a new script they also told me like 4 hour wait which is ridiculous ...they need to make changes at this location and actually get a pharmacist who cares about the clients.... read more

Very busy, but they try hard to help. I have not had any of the "attitude" shown by the other reviewer. I had to transfer 8 medications to CVS, and they did it the same weekend. So, I recommend the store on 466, but if you're in a big hurry, go another time. Prescription drug delivery in 2015 is different than the neighborhood pharmacy of the 50's. Sadly. read more
