I have been a Happy Customer, of the The Walgreens Pharmacy, at present and also when it was A Rite Aid Chain. The Staff is very helpful , and I rarely , if ever , have an issue with a new prescription or refill. The entire store is clean , orderly , and the employees are pleasant and eager to help . Christine, is one of staff members , and has been a employee from all 3 Chains, Christine is Stellar! She knows all the product lines , photo developing , and is always a helpful and cheerful cashier. I truly appreciated Walgreens and their staff , during a time in all our lives , that was unprecedented! The Pandemic, has made me never again , take the simple, daily activities for granted . Walgreens was there for our community . It was stressful to just even venture out of our homes ! Shopping at Walgreens to purchase a few groceries , my medications and essentials was the highlight of my day! Just seeing a few smiling employees, was worth its weight in Gold! The worst. The pharmacy is the worst. 27 minutes on hold for the pharmacy only to be hung up on. I thought this location would be an improvement over the defunct Belmar local. Renewed 'scrips online. One was expired. Pharmacy claims to call the Dr. for refills. This is the 4th time I needed them to reach out to my Dr. but my Dr. of 22 years has never once received a call/fax/email/text from them. It's such a regular occurrence now my Dr and I joke about it when I call her to find out why she "declined the refill". I'm switching to Campbells. read more

The cashier was rude. Demanded I went to go to my drivers license for a $30 return and then when I handed it to her she proceeded to tell me I handed the item back to her wrong and talked down to me. read more

Every time I go I get a different story. They give a date for pick up of my Rx and it is never ready when they say. They don't fill the Rx correctly. No one in the pharmacy is competent. Not to mention the long lines and no one in the pharmacy every answers the phone. read more

The pharmacy is the worst one ever. The main pharmacist Jasmine I believe her name is, will hang up on you over the phone constantly and vehemently deny it was her when you call her out on it in store. Her staff takes after her and is just as nasty, disrespectful and unwilling to help or even do their jobs. They made a mistake and canceled one of my prescriptions and blamed it on the doctor who called it in. I had emails from the Doctor and she refused to look at them out of complete embarrassment and unwillingness to own up to her mistake. I then sat there with my 1 year old for 4 hours while they shut the gate and went to lunch. I had some logistical issues which were easily taken care of, and I called back to ask to have something written on my box that was needed and they did so happily. This Walgreens never answers their phone. Walked in for a flu shot and told me it was appointment only. The pharmacy was empty. Went over to Walgreens in Point and ask for a flu shot and they said sure no problem. My daughter's doctor sent them a prescription, 3 hours later still no text it was ready. Called Walgreens in Point to fill prescription and it was ready in 45 minutes. read more

Walgreens Spring Lake is the worse pharmacy and store. Long lines, zero customer service or care. Now and then there's someone nice and I think they want to improve but the person quits and it's back to horrible. The Walgreens in neighboring towns much better. read more

Denise took forever to ring up 2 people that had 3 items max. I waited for 15 minutes. Finally I asked if I could grab an item or 2 from a box half opened next to the registers that said "RUSH TO FLOOR"(have been sitting there for 3 days now). She said "NO" with an aggressive voice, asked what box I was talking about then said I cant go thru any boxes without a manager. I asked if a manager was present and she said "I am the manager" then walked off and told me the head manager will be here monday. RUDE woman. The Pharmacy is the most understaffed, disorganized pharmacy I have ever been to. Waited more than 25 minutes at their Drive Thru 't with One car ahead of me. When I finally came up they ignored me and wouldn't answer the buzzer. The Pharmacy tech looked at me and ignored me for 15 more minutes...just would not respond! I called the store while I was waiting and was on hold for 1o minute and left! What a Rude, Unprofessional staff! This was from 6:00 PM until 6:40 PM...well within the normal hours that the pharmacy is open. Don't think of using their drive through for Prescription Pick-up unless you are prepared to wait at least 30 minutes and are ready to be treated discourteously. Tried calling the pharmacy manager the next day to see what the issue was but they wouldn't 't take my call. read more

After being a loyal customer for over five years, I'd decided never to have anything to do with Walgreens again. I can't tell you the frustrations I witnessed with the inefficiencies and unprofessionalism at the pharmacy station due to lingering lines and understaffed employees the minute you walked there. However, my issue was when I called the office one Friday morning to know if my refill was ready for pick up, and the pharmacist relayed she was working on it, so I waited to obtain it later in the afternoon. When I finally arrived, the desk receptionist told me the refill wouldn't be ready until Monday because the necessary ingredients weren't available in their facility. Wouldn't it be sensible if the pharmacy could make a phone call or send an email text, letting me know to come in on Monday instead of the inconvenience of me going to the store for nothing? I'm DONE with Walgreens, and it blindsides me that customers continue to go to this retail store. Not only is loyalty at an all-time low, judging by the apathetic employees, but the high prices are astoundingly unaffordable. Do not come here for fast same-day photos. I ordered 5 pictures and they were expected to be ready by 3:55 which gives them over an hour to walk 10 feet to the photo center to press a button. I called a half hour after the expected time and was rudely spoken to by the cashier claiming they are "busy" and she'll try to get to it at some point. HANDS DOWN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BOTH AT THE STORE LEVEL AND CORPORATE LEVEL. You can't get a prescription fill as they are always out of stock, i called for a week straight and got put on hold 10 and 15 minutes at a time, then called corporate and got the same BS. DO NOT BOTH VISITING THIS LOCATION ... I was told by the staff don't know what to tell you we are short-staffed and go ahead and call corporate to complain, maybe they'll do something. I had made an on-line appointment for a 6pm flu shot and received confirmation. When I arrived at the store's pharmacy counter, I was informed that they would not give any flu shots after 6. It upsets me that the pharmacist at the Spring Lake Walgreens does not honor appointments. read more
