As far as convenience, this place has it. Easy to get in and out of, basic staples that you might…read moreneed in the fridge or pantry, and the ability to create meals for most any occasion. The pharmacy has a drive-thru and the techs and Pharmacists are extremely nice as well. This location lacks in a few areas though. First, pricing. Maybe I'm deceiving myself but the prices seem higher than the big Wal Mart down the hill. Maybe they charge a little more for convenience? They also don't price match any longer at the neighborhood market which was nice when you saw something you liked on ad at another store. Selection is smaller (to be expected with the smaller footprint of the store) but sometimes this gets downright irritating. The worst part about this store is the out of stocks. Limited footprint is one thing, but what you DO have space for should be in stock. There are always empty shelves in this store and sometimes entire categories are just wiped out. There's nothing convenient about coming here if I can't get what I want or need and have to go to another store to get it anyway. If they could get in stock and stay in stock it would go a long way to improving their service.

A few minutes ago drove to the drive in window to pick up the medications and was told I'd have to wait 15 more minutes. I had to be somewhere else at the time. Now, I have to drive back over there again. When it takes 24 hours to fill my prescription, especially when I need it now, I believe my the rating in justified. This isn't the first time Walgreens has taken a long time to fill a prescription for me. Previously, I have had to wait four or five hours from the time the prescription was called in before it was ready for pickup. The only reason I use Walgreens is because TRICARE works with only two pharmacies---Walgreens and CVS. Walgreens is closer to my house than CVS.

They filled my prescription which made me really happy because the drug must be started within 24 hours of the Covid being found. After that they reviewed with me the many vaccines they will vaccinate for. While in the store I was impressed by how they kept it so clean! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! The downfall to this store are that the staffing downright stinks. They are always understaffed and it shows in the long lines at the pharmacy counter to talk to the nice people. They also seem to have a lot of empty shelves and do not plan ahead well for the seasonal "rushes" on things like cold and flu medicine. We don't use this location for anything more than a traditional pharmacy so I cannot really talk about candy selection or milk prices. I just wish they would step up their game in staffing to make this a better shopping experience.

Be aware, the pharmacy cashier told me my Covid vaccine would cost $167. She kept insisting even…read morethough I told her it doesn't cost anything. She obviously wasn't trained very well. Nobody has to pay for it. I had the vaccine there in 2023 so they should have had my Medicare card on file. The cashier asked me for my red, white and blue card, and I said if she meant my Medicare card, I told her they already had it but she didn't see it. She looked at the computer monitor again, said something about 'fixing it', and when I asked 'fix what?' she got very irritated and wouldn't tell me, except that now the cost was $0. I got the vaccine and the Pharmacist printed who they billed the vaccine to in 2023 and it wasn't Medicare, it was something I never heard of but found out it's related to my Medigap insurance. They didn't pay for it. They filed with the wrong insurance in 2023, didn't get paid, didn't refile with Medicare and tried the same thing again but it was denied. The cashier didn't ask me about my insurance and she didn't know to file it with Medicare and she didn't ask anybody for help. it was very frustrating for me. The girl needed a lot more training.

He even came out to the aisle where i was waiting for my script because of my full grocery cart, got in my face and told me he was refusing my prescription. He could have called the doctor, explained things to me politely, but no. He got in my face and told me how "lucky I'd been", having my script written the way it had been for 4 years and through 2 other pharmacies and multiple pharmacists. When i asked why, he flaunted that "he" was the only pharmacist doing things correctly. He embarrassed me to tears in front of other people in the store and outside the pharmacy counter. I'll never go to that pharmacy again.
