The pharmacy is A+++ here they go above and beyond and I love them they're great at the drive thru, always busy and still let me drop in for flu vax and covid , they're quick and efficient . Front of store .. not so good. They have trouble processing manafacture coupons . So if you plan on using some manafacture coupons avoid this walgreen .. mine was for similac and every other store processses them .. manager didn't even care and wouldn't offer a solution , poor customer service. I'll use the pharmacy here but avoid spending money inside. read more

This Walgreens is an easy in and out and convenient for me and would get another star if they would call up another cashier when the line is long. They do so occasionally but only after they think you have suffered long enough. Seriously I go in for a simple item and get behind the person who has returns, exchanges and then forgets their loyalty card and something in the car or who knows what. When the Cashier sees the line building and they get "one of those problem buyers" please call for help and get another cashier. read more

I've tried to shop here several times but I'm not a member or their "rewards program" (whatever they call it?) and as a result they don't honor sales prices.  In the past they've adjusted the price of items after I refused to pay, but with my most recent visit they wouldn't give me the sales price.  They insisted I join their program and provide my personal details in order to get the sales price on two bags of twizlers.  I was in shock that I had to provide my personal details to buy two bags of candy with cash!  Sheesh, what a joke!  I spoke with one of the stores assistant managers and he upheld the policy.  I "chatted" with customer service through the corporate web site and they too upheld the policy. I went to CVS, where they will always scan a store card for customers who are not members, and bought the candy.  Simple, quit shopping at Walgreens! read more

Always buy my milk here. Can't beat the price of a gallon of Borden milk. Price fluctuates $2.99 to $3.19, which is much cheaper than grocery stores. Milk is always very cold which seems to last longer. Quick and easy in and out. Friendly employees. read more

Went for a COVID test yesterday. Filled out all the paperwork online. Requested the Rapid results. Three hours later still no results so I called the pharmacy. Person told me it would take 24 hours. Told them I had rapid test and she told me it can take up to 24 hours. So this morning after 24 hours I Call them and let them know I am still waiting. Oh there was a glitch in the system and no one got their results yesterday. I asked why no one let me know. The woman said I should have called them. I told her I did call them and was told to wait 24 hours for the results. Due to my age I am supposed to get antivirals or monoclonal antibodies. Now I have to get in the car while I have a temperature and coughing a lung up and drive to the store to get my results. Then call my doctor. What a joke. read more

One star off for not having doormats..it's really sandy here in Pinellas county and one tracks in lots of sand! The guy told me they had car mats but I didn't think it was worth the effort. Perhaps duck tape would work..hmmm.. Solid four stars for the photo shop and front register cashier though. My friend has a 1970's Canon 35MM camera which requires a small 6 volt battery. I've looked it up and found Energizer still produces them though they have been discontinued in many places due to digital cameras. I checked CVS, Winn Dixie and Publix with no luck. So when I called and the woman working in Photos said yes, I was down there in a heartbeat. Last one on the shelf too! They held it for me and I was so joyful I bought a Lindt Chili Chocolate bar in celebration. I love to write about good customer service experiences and this was one of them. They even have B/W film for us old school folks! Now to see how my photos turn out from their lab... read more

Wife had a knee replacement. I dropped off a RX for Vicodin 5mg 325mg pills. I might as well have asked for a kilo of Heroin. Couldn't even verify if they had the drug available. I came back when a automated system told me that it was ready. Some pills were ready, but I needed her ID at a minimum to pick them up. Keep in mind I dropped them off. We share the same last name. My id was available. I was never told to bring her ID with me. Not by the automated system that told me to come get the pills. Not by the Indoasianeuropean counter person who spoke broken english. Did a search for the nearest non chain drug store, went to a medicine shop, walked out with the pills 18 minutes later. They only spoke broken english also, but seemed to want my business at least a little. I didn't notice if they had door mats or not. I wouldn't care if they had dirt floors with peanuts on them. Thats not why I was there. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy has gone down hill. Mistake after Mistake with perceptions. Don't think they are staffed adequately which leaves for errors. CHECK YOUR MEDICATION AND MAKE SURE IT IS THE CORRECT MEDICATION. Have had several issues with them. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Miss Pang in the Walgreen's photo dept on Park and Oakhurst is repeatedly a tremendous help. My old computer can't do a lot of the photo work I needed on many projects. She helped me transfer my work to the Walgreen's computer. Miss Pang has more than knowledge, she has the patience to help this elderly person. She also had the kindness to arrange for a taxi when I was unable to walk back to my home. She is a credit to Walgreen's not only for her knowledge but also for helping the elderly and also for her compassion for the disabled. J.C. Lind read more
