"I came for a sip, stayed for the cinnamon roll, nearly moved in"…read more Wandered in half-asleep, expecting a basic latte -- instead I got coffee with attitude, a muffin that basically shouted "wake up and live a little," and a vibe so cozy I almost signed a lease. The beans hit you like a friendly slap from a caffeinated mermaid, pastries arrive freshly baked and dangerously delicious, and the staff? Sweet and cheerful enough to make your alarm-clock hatred melt away. The patio is a tiny overgrown paradise -- perfect for people-watching, sand-between-the-toes daydreaming, or convincing yourself you're in a beachside indie flick. If "just a quick caffeine fix" ends up turning into "let's come back tomorrow and maybe adopt the croissants," don't blame me -- blame Indian Shores Coffee.

There was everyone from local locals to tourists stopping in! I snagged a spot out on the patio to work and sip on my sugar-free vanilla latte and a cranberry orange muffin - both of which were great! There's not much seating indoors with the line circling around the space. There's a bar seating area along the front window with four seats, but not really an option to sit there when it's very busy. They do plenty of outdoor seating and seating on the screened in patio.

My family just moved to the area & have been looking for our next fave breakfast spot & Frog Pond…read more NAILED IT Luciano was & is always welcoming & just so freaking kind! Louis was the 1st person I got to know, & he ALWAYS makes us feel like were "home" & knows our coffee necessities before we even have to ask! My daughter fell in love with Jacqueline & Raina.. who are both PHENOMENAL servers! Ok.. let's get to the food lol .. The food is TOP NOTCH . The coffee is strong but not overpowering & we LOVE our coffee. My fave dish so far is the Monte Cristo Eggs Benedict. They had a special (when I visited before we made the permanent move) Tiramisu French Toast stuffed with Nutella (Jacqueline MADE the mascarpone if I remember correctly) & it came with coffee infused syrup!!! My husband loves the western & home fries...my daughter was so thrilled she had options between French Toast, waffles, AND pancakes with a variety of options for toppings!!! We literally CAN NOT rave ENOUGH about Frog Pond .

Upon arrival is was pretty busy, but I was seated pretty quick. It seems like they are turning over tables in double the time of typical diners. The servers were attentive to the table but definitely moving quick. The ambiance is hard to notice with the hustle and bustle of the place, and there's a lot of people in one place. The food was okay and typical diner food. I wouldn't say that the breakfast was anything to crave, but it was good.

5-Star Review - My New Happy Place in North Redington Beach!…read more I'm always on the hunt for great local spots after a showing, and this time Yelp & Maps delivered a winner. After a successful client appointment, I was starving and searched for nearby restaurants -- "My Happy Place" popped up with a well-deserved-4.7 stars. I'm so glad it did! On a beautiful sunny (but surprisingly chilly) day, I rolled up to a cool tiki-bar vibe right on Gulf Blvd. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, with outdoor seating warmed by heaters so you stay comfortable even on cooler days. I was immediately greeted by a super friendly gentleman (I believe one of the co-owners and the chef), who took the time to answer all my menu questions with genuine enthusiasm. He didn't hesitate when I asked for his top recommendation: the Blackened Grouper Sandwich ($17.98). He told me they source the grouper fresh every day from a local fishmonger, and it showed. I ordered it on a toasted brioche bun with tomato, lettuce, and their house-made remoulade sauce. It was fantastic-- flaky, perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and one of the best grouper sandwiches I've had in the area. All sandwiches come with kettle chips, and you can upgrade to potato salad or coleslaw for just $2. The menu has so many tempting options I can't wait to try next time: the California Chicken Wrap, thank Classic Patty Melt, Bahama Mama smoked sausage, and plenty of cold deli sandwiches like the Turkey Club and Tuna Salad on croissant. There's also a full "Cool Stuff" section with smoked fish spread and chopped salads if you're in the mood for something lighter. I already know I'll be back soon -- next time I plan to stay longer, enjoy the vibe, and pair my grouper with one of their cocktails. If you're in the North Redington Beach / Redington Beach area and looking for a fantastic lunch spot with fresh seafood, friendly service, and a relaxed beachy atmosphere, My Happy Place is a great place to visit. I'll be returning -- and recommending it to my clients!
