They carry Essie, OPI, China Glaze, Color Club, etc all at discounted prices. Nail tools, lotion, all kinds of supplies - you name it, they have it. I save about $3 per bottle on Essie/OPI compared to what I would spend at the drugstore. I refuse to buy nail polish anywhere else. They have a huge inventory and get all of the new releases. I rave about this place to family, friends and coworkers. Even if you are a few towns over this place is worth the drive.

This is a good Sally's, meaning that the store was well-stocked with exactly the shades I needed…read more Or maybe I just had good timing! I have gone to other Sally's and they have have had low stock in certain shades, likely due to popularity. The employee who greeted me was cheerful and friendly. Since I have done all this before (I have been unsuccessful so far in finding someone locally whom I can trust not to eff up my hair), I didn't need help or advice. They don't carry IC anymore, which makes me sad, but they had another brand of heat protection. It was double the price of IC, but oh well. I did get extra color for future use, so it wasn't an inexpensive trip, but I am all set for the time being. A most productive trip. While tubes of color and bottles of developer require more effort than box kits, the results are often better. I mix two or sometimes three shades to get exactly what I want. Sally's allows me to do that easily.

Guys, do NOT go to this place. They charge you for absolutely everything and have zero flexibility…read moreor consideration for their clients. I originally booked an appointment and had to cancel once. They rescheduled me for Monday, but unfortunately, I couldn't leave home as early as planned because my babysitter had an unexpected issue and arrived late. I ended up being only 15 minutes late. When I arrived, they refused to see me and told me I would have to pay again because, according to them, they had already rescheduled my appointment twice and this was part of their policy. I find this absolutely ridiculous. I was only 15 minutes late because I could not leave my baby home alone, and I was already at their door. They showed absolutely no flexibility or understanding. They still charged me and refused to refund my money. This is exactly how businesses lose good clients. I could have spent significantly more money there in the future, but instead of using common sense and showing a little understanding, they chose to lose a customer over a 15-minute delay. I will never go back, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their policies feel designed to take your money rather than provide good customer service. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually values its clients. SCAM PLACE

Merle Norman in Patchogue is awesome! Very professional, courteous and friendly. I do have to say…read morethat on my last visit a woman came in and wanted to get her nails done without an appointment. Unfortunately there were no open spots as this location is very popular. The nail technician was very apologetic and was waiting for her next client to show up. The woman then said "well your sitting there doing nothing" and the tech responded " I'm waiting for my next client who is a little late but I would be happy to schedule in on another day" With that the woman was very belligerent and left. After all of that , the owner and staff remained professional and calm. Not a word was mentioned about this nasty customer after she left. Most places would bitch about that in front of clients but the ladies didn't! I recommend this place to everyone I know! Great people who do great work!
