    The Walgreens pharmacy in Lake Geneva offers very poor service. I had a prescription sent over that…read morewas a STAT order. The pharmacy was given all of the insurance information needed to process the order. They were called 3 times on 4/27/26 to be made aware of how serious the order and they reassured me that everything will be processed for a 4/29/26 pickup (today). Well, they didn't process anything, and they are just now sending over information to the physician's office for an authorization they say they needed. They stated that the authorization usually only takes about 24 hours to process. They were not able to give me an answer as to why they waited until today to send in this authorization request, and not send it Monday like they reassured me over the phone. The pharmacy technician used the excuse that their system is older than him and they are not able to read any insurance card information if it's attached in the app. He seemed to think that was a good enough response but that's horrible. So no one is fixing this system? This excuse was given to me years ago but I suppose it's not a priority for the pharmacy manager Vanessa Bellei and Walgreens corporate office to fix. Serious side effects occur within the liver if this medication is stopped abruptly. This is unacceptable. When I spoke to the insurance company shortly after, they were shocked that the pharmacy decided to wait until 4/29/26 to send in the authorization knowing there is a 24 delay, minimum. All of their notes shows that the pharmacy should have sent in the authorization 4/27/26. Now the pharmacy's negligence has delayed my care which luckily the doctor and insurance company documented in case there are medical issues from this. Also, if you care about privacy you won't get it here. Prescriptions are placed in bins that are visible to customers at the pharmacy pickup/drop off desk. I can see full names and addresses by just standing here.

    I we t in for a passport photo. The guy was called to find another customer's print and acted very…read moreput out by it. Maybe he was on break? Ready to clock out? Doesn't matter. It's a customer service industry. Treat customers respectfully. They are why you have a paycheck! He was gruffer with every minute. No biggie, really. I just needed a pic. He did it in a very perfunctory way. No conversation. No small talk. No problem. What gets my goad is coming home to upload tge digital image and seeing Walgreens dumbassery on full display: Their frigging ad tagline runs across the top of the photo! You fukkn clowns in corporate marketing. This is NOT about YOU. It's about UX and NOBODY getting a PASSPORT photo needs or wants your stupid-ass billboard across their pic!

Her lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service left me utterly disgusted and frustrated. Sara Power's incompetence was on full display as she mishandled my prescription, causing delays and errors that could have had serious consequences for my health. Her dismissive attitude and lack of attention to detail were shocking and completely unacceptable. Not only did Sara Power fail to provide the basic level of care and service expected from a pharmacist, but her rude and condescending behavior towards me and other customers was downright disrespectful. It was abundantly clear that she had no regard for the well-being or concerns of those she was supposed to be helping. I would strongly advise anyone in the Gurnee area to steer clear of this Walgreens location and to avoid any interactions with Sara Power. Her incompetence and lack of professionalism have no place in a customer-facing role, and I would caution anyone in need of pharmacy services to seek assistance elsewhere. This experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would not wish it upon anyone else. Victoria and Hailey, on the other hand we're very friendly daily, and I could tell by their facial expressions that this is something that they have previously experienced.
