Lovely that there is a Walgreens located here in the plaza with Stop & Shop, Crunch fitness, and some restaurants. I mainly stop by, if in the area, to pick up scripts or get some snacks. I have never had an issue here. Only thing is, they seem to never have stock of items but I think that is possibly due to theft which is unfortunate. Employees are nice here and always willing to help find whatever you're looking for. This Walgreens also has a drive thru for their pharmacy. Super clutch if you don't want to go inside and wait in the line. The line to pick up prescriptions does form quick and may wait for a while since pharmacy staff is a bit short staffed. read more

This Walgreens is located in a strip mall. I had just been dining at a restaurant within the same strip mall and I needed to pick up a few things so I figured I would stop in here at this Walgreens seeing I was right there. This is an average size location and there is plenty of parking in the huge parking lot outside of the store. On the day that I was here the stock on the shelves was very limited and it seemed that they were out of a lot of items. However I did see a lot of totes scattered around the store which tells me a shipment had just come in and they were likely in the process of restocking their shelves. I was able to find one out of the three products that I had wanted to purchase so decided just to get that one item and call it a day. The clerk who was running the register area didn't seem all that friendly (no smile or greeting as I approached the register) but they did handle my transaction fast and efficiently. read more

Our community deserves a better pharmacy. the pharmacist on today has historically been one that does not display professionalis, does not acknowledge the presence of people when they are at the window and he has spread this behavior amongst many of the technicians there. Sean and another young man there are very polite and professional. Even though you will get notifications that your medications are ready for pick up via the automated system that calls you, when you walk in to the pharmacy less than 50 percent of the time I have found that the medication(s) was not actually ready. They are not empathetic in how they address concerns as I have heard several patients complaints over the last few months and it seems to be declining versus improving. Pick up window always closed and they never answer their phone in the pharmacy. During these times of Covid I'm surprised that they aren't managing social distancing practices better. The p/u window being open really supports patients who cannot or should not be in contact with the public due to such a high risk. Please do better as this is my neighborhood pharmacy. The pick up windows are crucial to help decrease the spread of this dangerous virus in our neighborhoods. read more

I got my Covid booster shots there. They have quick appointments to book usually but expect a long wait (45-1hr). With that being said look for a guy named Mike to give you your shots. He's so nice, very caring, attentive, and charismatic. And he gives the shots well so it doesn't hurt which is saying something from me because I always have severe pain when I get shots. Also look for a woman named Arcadia when you're checking out of the general store. She's very sweet and she has a lot of patience and she's pretty funny too. Got my COVID and flu shots here, Yvonna was fantastic and super efficient . The whole process was so quick and swift with the pharmacy check in. The pharmacy looks renovated and very spacious. They're very kind. I'm very very pleased. read more

This pharmacy is a JOKE!!!!! I don't even know why or how they're even still open! The place always looks in shambles, filthy.... Most "quality" Products you need are always locked up due to shoplifters I don't understand why they even have a drive thru pharmacy when no one tends to it and they have you sitting out there forever (IF they decide to ever come to the window) THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!! I've left pissed off every single time!!!!! Poor customer service. It never fails!!! Hence why I transferred all my meds to the CVS in Roslindale. There, they're friendly, courteous and have meds you need in stock. Smh This Walgreens pharmacy really needs to step it up. Do not use the pharmacy at this store, unless you do not mind waiting a long time for your medication. Dropped off my prescription on a Friday, told the medication would be ready Monday. I could not go until Tuesday, but it was still not ready. Did not get the prescription filled until 2 days later, almost ran out of medication. Plus this pharmacy always have a long line, due to inadequate staff. read more

PLEASE avoid this Walgreens' pharmacy. My doctor called in a prescription for me on 11/4 and after long wait times on hold with no one answering, having someone go to store to be told they are 3wks behind on filling orders. Then my doctor tried to switch to a different pharmacy, but not being able to switch pharmacies because they already charged my insurance I have been without medication. I've called and complained twice to cooperate and still waiting for a return call from them. IF YOU NEED YOU MEDICATION URGENTLY PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO GET IT FILLED HERE! They are taking orders just to bill your insurance company for the money and taking their sweet time filling the orders! DONT ALLOW THEM TO PLAY WITH YOUR HEALTH! Walgreens needs to stop taking on more than they can handle and maybe just have certain Walgreens with pharmacies and all the pharmacists work at those locations to get orders filled in a timely manner! This has been my go-to walgreens for years now. They're really nice and always very helpful when i have a question. Once they didn't have my medication in stock and they made sure they found a way for me to have it. This is the best walgreens pharmacy in hyde park tbh! read more

Pharmacy is a joke. 4 times now they have screwed up a refill and only given half the quantity and left us screwed with no medication for half the month. They just tell us that it says it was filled and refuse to fix the issue. Store itself is full of empty shelves and employees standing around doing nothing. Place needs a complete management refresh. read more

Where do I begin? Not only did Walgreens cancel my mother's prescription plan with no notification and then tell her she would have to pay $3000 for it which she couldn't do so she had to get a new prescription plan and wait weeks, then today they did not fill my prescription at all. Just left it sitting without any notification that anything further needed to be done. Prescription was sent 5 days ago. Insurance needed and authorization from my Dr to fill the script which Walgreens chose to send to my Dr today, Sunday, when it's closed even though they knew on Tuesday they needed it. THEN after I asked why I wasn't notified and why my Dr wasn't contacted until I came to pick it up, all of a sudden they see a note she was notified on Tuesday but when I ask to see the note the pharmacist, Canaan K. comes out and no note is ever presented. Then he jokes about how I can just pay the $123 for it if I'm "that desperate" or I can just wait for my insurance and laughs. I'm glad to know they think people's healthcare is a joke. It is very clear that I need to take my business elsewhere. When you're dealing with people's health services you need to be both diligent and understanding. The fact that they saw there was an issue and just ignored it and gave me no chance to remedy it, nor my mother in her situation, shows a complete lack of care which is something very unfortunate for someone in the healthCARE business. read more

Where is the zero stars for DRIVE THRU service. Walgreens on Cummins hwy. is something else but somewhere to get service. Idk why people like to act like they are busy, they only make things worse for themselves in the moment and the company in a long run. So I was at Walgreens in the drive thru behind one person for about 7mins cool. No one was there when I pulled up to the window so I called and they said be right there.. 13mins later they send someone else to answer the phone when I call again, same B.S. be right there again. This time I only wait about 5 mind then walk inside left my car in the drive thru and there was only one person in line being served and 4 people working in the back including the doctor/nurse w.e.. I get help immediately just to be told :"your items are not ready but if you wait 15min you could get them." Mind you I've been waiting at the drive thru for almost 30, so if I was waiting on their time it takes 1hr to get thru the drive thru. Also I was told it took so long bc they are busy. I walked inside and was told right away not ready. Also one of the works that could have told me that as soon as I walk outside to turn back to the drive thru for my car I get slapped with the "busy" workers cigarette. It's sucks to know that his smoke break was more important than my medicine. I will never use this pharmacy again, I will start going back to CVS. A few dollars more but 20mins of my life and gas won't be wasted each time I try to get service in the drive thru. No efficiency for a customer, where does it work out for you guys idk, neither do I care read more
