    Avoid the hair salon at ALL costs. I'm in tears after a horrifying experience that resulted in my hair looking like a five year old went nuts with scissors. I booked a signature haircut, and the stylist started off the process by asking me for hair inspiration pictures. I showed her a photo of what I wanted: long layers thru out. My hair reached my lower back, and I wanted a few inches off to achieve the desired look. The stylist acknowledged the photo, and didn't express any concerns with producing that style. While my stylist was super friendly and engaged appropriately in conversation, the haircut she produced suggests she did not know what she was doing. I ended up with a choppy haircut with many blunt ends, and completely uneven hair on both sides. In hindsight, part of this is due to the fact that she randomly cut my hair with a middle part (even though my hair was a side part when I walked in...) then asked me how I part my hair AFTER she was done cutting. She simply adjusted the hair without making further cuts for symmetry. I'm not entirely sure of what she was trying to achieve here because there are NO long layers in the end result. I wouldn't even be as mad if there was some semblance of layering but I think the photos speak very clearly that this was a botched haircut. She was also a little rough when it came to handling my hair - perhaps this speaks to her inexperience - but I've never had anyone wring my hair out so roughly post shampoo or yank my hair so hard when pulling out sections of hair to cut. I am so disappointed and will be looking for another salon to fix this disaster.

    Westwood Ulta stole my heart away from the Natick spot, granted I'm not a customer who falls in love easily with places. A large portion also is attributed to the surrounding shops at University Station (looking at you: Nordstrom Rack, Target, Wegmans). Anyway other factors that they have more control over stem from the positive impression I got from their grand opening I attended with a friend last year. We were all given vouchers to redeem for a free blowout and $5 off coupon that I used on eyeliner. Since then I've had a great time coming to my makeup happy place. I usually don't ask for assistance but they seem generally helpful. I also have asked them over the phone to put some highly popular sets for me on hold that sold out online/other stores. I've also been consistently pleased with the salon even though each time I've gone with a promotion. $10 hair cut for breast cancer research, $15 living proof style and free blowout. Only issue I've had is slight attitude and begrudge when returning an item I got on sale. I tried to do an even exchange of the same product but different shade, since the one I picked out online made me look like a cartoon. It was from their drugstore brands, NYX. Seriously is the $3-$6 worth making me feel uneasy about? The manager came to her senses and told the sales associate it was fine and not to bother me to pay the messily difference. If they could work on that and respect customer loyalty status that would be fantastic. Oh and if they would let me know about the other Store specific events that aren't generic for all stores.

    I came to this place with high expectations because I had a bad Botox experience about a month ago…read morein which I had to go back 2 separate times for fixes and it was still not corrected. I sought out another med spa for a touch up and to only lift my eyebrows. When I talked to the girl on the phone I told her I needed just an eyebrow lift which would be about 4 units total. 2 units above each eye. She said on Wednesday's it's $9 per unit. Cool! That's a good deal! I've been getting Botox for years and know my face and know how much Botox I need to get the desired affect. With already having 40 units in my face over the last month I didn't need much more to reached the arches eyebrows. My Appt was at 230p. I was told to come about 15min early to fill out paperwork. At 305p I was finally taken back. Long wait time. Botox appts should only last 15min. I should of already been done by then. I told the doctor and 2 assistants I wanted 4 units (2 on each side). As he was mixing the Botox he made the proper marks where the Botox would go and injected me. I thanked them and walked to the front to pay. Thinking it was going to be $36, the girl says $120. I was like what?! She started to make some phone calls to the back in which she said they injected me with 14 units. Why on earth would a doctor inject someone who already had a whole forehead full of Botox with 14 more units. I said I only asked for 4. She wanted to argue with me and kept telling me that's what the doctor injected. I said no, I didn't ask for that. Then another woman came out from the back who I'd never seen before and said that they injected me with 14 units. I said who are you, you weren't even in the room. The doctor never once came out to explain anything. Just these incompetent women who know nothing I'm sure about Botox but are just going through motions because they work there. I said I'm not paying for 14 units as I didn't ask for that, nor did I need that, and how do I even know if that's how much he put in my face. It could of all been a scam. I said well I'm only paying for 4 units. She said well it's $10 per unit. Again, another scam, when I was told it was $9 per unit on the phone a week before. I was so heated and my blood pressure was raged by this time. I tossed $40 on the counter and walked out. Steer far far away from this place. They are rude, do not listen to their patients, try to scam them for more money and do not know a thing about injectables. On top of that the doctor recommended lip implants because I told him my Juvederm didn't hold from a prior session I had done back home. I never said once I wanted anything permanent in my face! WTF!!! DO NOT GO HERE! The worst! I've concluded from the 2 med spas in Boston that I've went to that I've had horrible experiences at, that I will go back to Vegas for any future cosmetic injections. I feel the spas back home are more trained and professional about the products and listen to what their clients ask.

I have been serviced at this salon and Michelle is so unprofessional and people should honestly read these reviews before giving them your money! She is disrespectful to clients and speaks negatively of other clients who call/come into the shop. Michelle posted on Instagram about a client of hers who didn't want to pay for washing as it is a separate fee. She posted her clients hair with a photo of her walking away. I told her she was unprofessional and that washing should be included. Michelle used derogatory language towards me. Michelle's behaviors raises questions about professionalism within the hair industry. I believe it's important for clients to be aware of such behavior before deciding to use her services.

Michelle is one of the only hairstylists that I trust to do my sew-ins. Her techniques promotes healthy hair and her sew-ins are so seamless and natural looking. I recently tried a lace closure sew-in for the first time, and she nailed it! People keep asking me if it's just my natural hair leave out and who did my hair. By the way, it is all sewn down, not glued down. Apart from her hair expertise, Michelle is very professional and pays attention to detail. She literally takes her time to make sure you get the best results. She's kind, and has a very pleasant personality. The salon is clean, and organized very nicely. I HIGHLY recommend getting your hair done by Michelle, I've never regretted it and I'm so happy the day I came across her services.
