We had their last time slot of the day and it was a full class. Before the class started we were able to explore the shop a bit and there were so many candles and accessories. It's so cute inside! Our instructor Mossi was amazing and very knowledgeable about the different types of scents and combinations. It was so much fun figuring out which scents I resonated the most with. We also got to smell everyone's scent combinations which was cool knowing that scents smell different to every person. After the class, we got a small discount on any additional items we wanted to purchase that day. I got this really cool dirty martini candle and a wick dipper. Heads up that candle pick up is the next day so the wax can settle. They will hold your candles for two weeks but after that they will burn them in the store. During the workshop, the store ran out of one of the scents my friend wanted to use. We made it work and found a substitute but the during pickup we found a note, a slip for another workshop and a small candle to make up for the inconvenience. That was so nice of them! As for my candle, I don't think I can recreate it anywhere else. It's only been two weeks and I've already burned through most of one of them because it smells so good. The scents actually last and linger in any space you put them in. I 100% recommend this place whether you want to try a workshop, give this experience as a gift or just stop by to smell the candles. Heads up it's BYOB. You don't have to drink but you're able to bring something if you want.

The space it self is very small, the bar is on the back wall, with one bar tender, one server and one other worker. The server explained to pick our scents then we were lost once scanning the QR code. The directions on the table did not say to enter your table number as your location, we then waited another 10 minutes for our server to come back over after we observed her talked to her coworker the entire time. We placed our orders, while waiting we drank our first round of drinks. We then ordered another round that came in 10-15 minutes increments. I never received my second drink after asking three times about it. The server's explanation was the bar tender got backed up.

The plethora of actually strong smelling scents is delightful and something I like to have in my home at all times. While not obsessed with candles like some others (I know people that have a candle in every single room in their house), it's always nice to have a few of these, and giving them as gifts is always a pleasure (especially with one of those buy one get one coupons, or buy two get two). This location is newer, and is next to David's Bridal in University Station. It's a bit bigger than the one in Dedham, and is brighter, more lively and less claustrophobic. The store is vast and always prepares holidays in well-advance timing. Employees are friendly and the variety is fantastic (they never run out of my favorite candle flavor.... Macintosh).
