When I took it back, the stout woman at the front had an attitude and the manager kept herself busy with someone else....leaving me with an worn tee and no reimbursement. The woman could see when I bought it, but because there wasn't another one "just like it", I had to leave with the item in hand and NO satisfaction. I have experienced her horrible attitude before, but went yesterday for work out shoes, and got there a few minutes before closing time, she had already locked the door, so I knocked and looked through the glass, she looked right at me and my child, and kept walking and doing whatever she was doing. Not even a quick acknowledgment to say, hey sorry we closed a bit early today, or anything. She completely ignored us! The team leads I have experienced were all so kind and helpful, but she is a total you know what!

She asked the young lady in the back, I believe her name started with an M if it was doable to remove links. She said it was. I was asked if I wanted to leave the watch or come back. I opted to wait. They tried the watch on and decided two links was enough. Great job and the cost was $10.00. The service that Lisa and her staff provide is top notch. I lack words to express how much my wife and I appreciate the service we received at Hefez…read moreyesterday. My wife will have surgery Friday and a few days ago the doctor said she must remove all of her rings, including one she had not taken off for years because of severe arthritis. We tried every remedy, cold, oil, WD40 and dental floss, but nothing worked. Already anxious about the surgery, this problem just seemed to be too much. Out of desperation, I suggested trying a jeweler and Hefez came up on Yelp. They answered my call, understood and sympathized with our problem and arranged a convenient time. On arrival Mr. Hefez (I assume he is the eponymous owner) found the right, obscure tool and spent 20 minutes patiently sawing off my wife's ring. He gathered and bagged for us the dust and a tiny diamond chip that fell off along with the ring. We are still worried about the surgery, but Hefez took an unnecessary stress off our shoulders. We are tremendously grateful. The store itself seemed to be a fine, local,family business, but what stood out to my wife and me was the warmth, care and thoughtfulness of the people working there. That must carry over to the more routine services they provide. If you are looking for a non-chain jeweler between Providence and Boston, please consider Hefez.

She got me back into the HOKA Clifton my shoe home and I couldn't be happier. She takes the time to listen, knows exactly what she's talking about, and makes the whole experience fun and personal instead of feeling like a sales pitch. Bonus fun fact: she's Miss Newark, Delaware! If you're shopping for running shoes or gear, do yourself a favor and ask for Kayla. You won't find better customer service anywhere. Highly recommend!

I went in to look at shoes, waited for what seemed like an eternity before someone working there even acknowledged me, and then left because their inventory of shoes is slim to none. The place looks like they work on a shoestring budget. Skip it and go elsewhere.
