Albuquerque City Drug reminds me of the little pharmacies almost on every corner throughout the…read morecities of France. It is small, and may not have everything you're looking for that you can get at a chain drug store, but it's personable and the pharmacist knows his stuff. They spend the time you need to understand a new medication or vaccine they provide. They know you by name and care. If they don't carry something, they will order it for you. The location is perfect. It's Downtown and a couple of doors down from Silver Street Market in the Imperial Building. It's around the corner from the post office and an easy walk to the Alvarado Transportation Center. Those who live in the building, across the street, or nearby don't need to walk far to get the care they need. I don't live that close, but it's worth the longer walk or short car ride.

Unbelievable! I have worked in customer service for many years. I find the inability to communicate…read morewith customers who are waiting is appalling to me. I came to the pharmacy to pick up an antibiotic for a friend. I stood there for at least 10 minutes while one guy slowly walked back and forth working the drive thru. Two pharmacists working to fill medication I assume. No one ever acknowledged I was there. One pharmacist or tech don't really know what her title was, looked me straight in the face and said nothing. Mam we will be right with you. Something. Maybe my standards are too high but I see it as common respect to acknowledge someone who has been waiting for quite a bit. Especially when you make eye contact and say nothing. This is not my pharmacy and will never be. I love my Walgreens pharmacy in RR. Attentive and personable.

The pharmacy will not fill my prescription. They are insisting that I received three months last…read moretime I refilled and I only received one month of prescription. I have only ever received one month of prescription at a time so why is this time different?!?!? The box is large and would not fit in the tiny paper bag they use. Only one fits. They said the camera footage "clearly" shows me getting three boxes and I asked to see the footage. They placed me on hold for 16 minutes then hung up on me. I called back and they have not and will not pick up the phone. Now been waiting another 10 minutes with no answer. This is ridiculous. I would not make this much fuss if I actually had received the three months but I didn't. There is no way it's clear on the camera because it is not true. I need to see the footage.

When I was a kid I'd go with my Gramma to the Walgreens, near her house in San Francisco. It was…read morealways an adventure with toys and aisles filled with candy, chips and other goodies. This Walgreens tears that fun memory to pieces. To begin with there are rough looking people all over the parking lot and wandering through the store; I'm fine with that, I've lived in cities most of my life and everyone needs to shop. But the store treats every customer like someone sketchy . I'd say that 90% of the items are behind glass, even innoucuous stuff like deodarant. It's a wonder the employees get any work done because they're always being interrupted with customers needing access to something. The check out on a Sunday was ridiculous, one (very slow) woman working the front. And, no surprise, she couldn't even be bothered to say hello until I asked her how her day was. She just stared at me while her POS refused to read my card, which seems to be a common problem at the Walgreens in this city. One thing they DO still have are great deals if you use the loyalty card. So I bought two 12 packs of Coke and two 8 pack of LaCroix two for one. But this meant I needed a cart. The problem with that is that you can't take the cart out of the store. So after taking 30 seconds blocking the door trying to get out (and making a drunk woman mumble curses at me) the super friendly security guard offered to help me to my car.So the security guard gets one of the stars. , And there were two teen age sisters buying tons of candy in front of me. They'd obviously been given money to spend on whatever they wanted and they were having a great time, which reminded me of those fun days with my gramma as a kid. So they get the other star. Otherwise I'm steering clear of this dreadful location.

Saturday. June 7, 2025. Around noon…read more I had an appointment at the Enchanted Hills Walgreens for a Tetanus-Diphtheria shot for 9:50 am. When I arrived the tech told me that they were out of this vaccine. I asked why it let me book an appointment if it was out of stock. She told me the appointment database doesn't link to what they have in stock. I think this is ridiculous because people could be wasting time, gas and energy booking appointments for non-existent shots! The tech called the Walgreens in Bernalillo and was told they had the TDAP in stock. I drove there and spoke to Eileen, a pharmacy tech. She explained they weren't doing walk-ins, but they usually do. I asked if they had any openings. She said I would have to check online. I told her my phone wasn't working and if she could book an appointment for me. She said no. I was the only one in line and they weren't busy. She was extremely rude and short with me. She told me to stand aside as another customer had walked behind me. I talked to the manager and assistant manager about Eileen. They told me that there was no pharmacist on duty and that they didn't have the vaccine in stock. So either the tech at Enchanted Hills lied to me or the tech they talked to on the phone lied. The manager even called the Walgreens on 528 and Southern and they were out of this vaccine. To sum up, it seems like all Walgreens do not regularly update their stock of vaccines, the staff are rude and will lie to you, and you will probably waste your time and gas scheduling appointments for non-existent vaccines. A horrible, horrible joke.
