Then they have the audacity to tell me that they can't fill my script right away as I sit there with children and tell me I'll have to wait 30 minutes, even though I was on hold for 30 minutes prior to arriving at the store, with no one to talk to. I am currently on hold again right now. It has been 10 plus minutes, and I have not gotten through to a single person. read more

They lie to customers plus they aren't filling all scripts at this location. Some scripts are processed in Mechanicsville, VA. According to one pharmacy tech it's because they are overwhelmed and another said that it's the process now. I was told my script would be processed at this location but when I picked it up the label clearly said processed at central fill in VA for Walgreens store, 11801 Vogel St. Plus the script was in a sealed plastic bag. read more

I challenge anyone to find slower, more inept pharmacy than the Walgreens on Vogel anywhere in the US. This is the third time I've received a text telling me my order is ready and it wasn't. They define ready as they received the product, but not ready for dispensing. Add on the lines are ALWAYS long because they aren't ready. They can't say it's how the SOP because the one in North Hills was always ready and super efficient. read more

I would give it 0 stars if possible, strictly based on the pharmacy. They never have enough people waiting on customers in line to pick up RX's. The person waiting on the drive-in window is the same person trying to help the customers in the pharmacy. Many times they do not have the medication I need in stock. I have the app and the while the app tells me they have received my RX it does not tell me why, 4 hours later, my order has not been filled. I drove to the store to find out that my 2 RXs are not in stock and they may not have it for 2 days. This is unacceptable due to the torticollis in my neck being very painful. Walgreens Photo center is horrible! I went for a passport photo which didn't meet the requirements for online passport renewal, error message said, face was too close to the camera. So I went back a 2nd time to retake it but I didn't have my paper receipt and they refuse to help me without it. I didn't think I should have to pay for another photo so I thought they would agree to do a retake and since my info including the 1st pic was in the system, it wouldn't be a problem but no, no such luck. So I went home to grab the receipt but omg, a different clerk was there and said I needed the envelope with my printed photo before she could help me. I explained how the 1st person said she just needed the receipt, no mention of the envelope the pic came in. She refused to help me. I couldn't believe it so I asked her to find the other person from earlier so I could talk to her. She came and I showed her I had the receipt and she took it and helped me. I asked why didn't the other lady want to help me? She said, I'll talk to her, hmmm. The strange thing is after she took my pic again, she said if you don't get the digital copy (which is exactly what I needed) after 24 hours to call 800 walgreen. So of course, I never received my digital copy, so I called the 800 number and they said, oh sorry, we can't help you, you have to call the store!!! Are you kidding me?!! Called the store, guess what, they can't help me unless I go back in with my receipt and they will do a 3rd pic. Unbelievable! Never going back there. Just threw away $18.00 Ugh. read more

Eh. This Walgreens is just OK. I've been to better, been to worse. The store is pretty clean, employees are typically nice. Like most Walgreens, the pharmacy is usually very busy and understaffed. BUT they have a great pharmacist (dark hair and glasses), so there's that. One of the senior (and certified?) technicians (she has glasses and long braided hair) removes her mask (mask to protect against covid) when talking to coworkers and pulls it back over her face when she's not talking. Awkward. This is the same tech who often has an attitude when interacting with customers. My biggest complaint, as you can see in the photos, is that they are usually out of items. I'm not talking every now and then. I'm talking same items for MONTHS on end. Not sure which shift lead/manager is doing weekly scan outs, but y'all are missing entire departments. As I said the staff is usually nice, however the older female cashier with dark really hair takes her job WAY too seriously. I can't say her name on Yelp but it starts with an "R" and is four letters long. I came in with my small dog a month ago and she tried to challenge me on it. MA'AM. It's a 10 lb chihuahua. Unless the dog is going crazy in the store, stop discouraging people from bringing them inside. You're going to have dogs sitting in 100 degree cars while the owners casually shop in the store. There are no signs outside saying non-service dogs are not allowed. I only go to this Walgreens because it's in walking distance. It's DEFINITELY not a store worth going out of your way for. *end rant* read more

Pharmacy: my husband called needing a prescription filled. After finally getting someone after 3 days, they told him he needs to ask his doctor for a new medicine since his always runs out. Well he did, one that wasn't covered under insurance, just to go pick it up and them tell him original medicine was ready for pickup too. Management: so I went to pick up gift cards I ordered. (lot of them) already paid for. I speak to the manager and she tells me she can't find them and will have to give me a call when she does. These gift cards were paid for and she expected me to just walk out the store without them. Um no. I went to an associate and she found them right away. Then the manager took her dear time coming for an over ride on the gift cards because I gave her a hard time. did she not realize she was not just screwing me over buy the 4 people on line behind me? Not surprised to see bad reviews for this location. Their store employees are friendly, helpful, they seem happy to be there, but the pharmacy is a perfect example of horrible customer service and people who don't give a.... They don't seem to have any understanding that they are often the final step in getting a loved one relief from suffering, is it really necessary to be so obnoxiously rude? In this case, my loved one is my dog. After a month of trying different medications and her being miserable, we finally found what we think is the right diagnosis and the script was for medication she needs to take ASAP so we can see if she improves. It breaks our hearts to see her struggling and in discomfort. This prescription could be the game changer and bring her relief, finally! I took a lunch break with a mission....find a pharmacy with the medication in stock. This Walgreens happens to be across the street, first stop. No line, yessss! All I need to know is if it's in stock, if it is, here you go, thank you, I'll pick it up when it's ready. If not, I was moving on to the next pharmacy. I would have taken very little of their time. I walk up, stand on the line (there wasn't an actual line, it was just me), two ladies are at the register they look up at me and then go back to talking. Cool. I see the consultation side and they were doing things. Probably the drive thru. So I wait and then I think...maybe I need to walk up for assistance? I went to the consultation window thinking they can look really quick. The lady at consultation window was so....gruff. "Do you need something?" I say, I just want to drop this off if you have it in stock. She tells me, you need to wait in line and they'll help you *points to the girls who were pretending I wasn't there* while I WAS in said line. I go the line area, they look at me, don't acknowledge me so I walk to the window where the two employees are talking and one of them says, "you need to wait in line and we'll be with you in a minute." I say, I've been waiting and there is no line. She repeats, MA'AM, we'll be with you in a minute, speaking to me like a child. I looked around a little, am I being punk'd? They really were not going to help me until they were good & ready. I was hot at this point, but I had another pharmacy to hit up and they wasted enough time for no good reason other than they did not want to stop what they were discussing to help. Fortunately, the CVS in Target right up the street had it so all ends well and they were great. Friendly, helpful, fast, and I was 3rd on line. They had customers. I see why. There is a principle here for the kind of business they are. They had no way to know my dog desperately needs this medication. That's the point, people certainly go to pharmacies for more urgent matters. Is this how they treat people who could be going through a horrible health situation? No, it's not their job to care, but it is their job to assist customers in filling prescriptions. So do it! I don't think these ladies belong in a pharmacy at all, but that's not my decision to make. My only decision is to never step foot into any Walgreens again. I know the loss of my business won't break Walgreens and that's not my intent, but I won't be back. read more

I was told they would transfer over Rx. I head over there and they had no idea what I was talking about and the lady was very bothered to do her job and made it known she was annoyed. This pharmacy is sub-par. Store management is sub-par, as is the District Manager Kosubucki. Walgreens policy is if there are more than 3 people in line the staff should call for assistance. The lead pharmacist Paula cannot count, nor can her staff. The lines have been massive and there are no accommodations given to those of us who cannot stand/wait in line, i.e. no chairs. This Walgreens is nice but management needs a refresh. I was in the pharmacy line that was backed up. The pharmacist pulled a cashier from the front to assist. The manager I assumed he was but don't know how he could be (Justin) decided to verbally unprofessional with the cashier and pharmacist in front of customers, and made her go back up front because of having a new front cashier. This Walgreens Pharmacy is perhaps the worst pharmacy I have ever used: - Prescriptions are never filled when they are sent in by a doctor. They do not fill them unless you call or come in. - If you call and they give you a time the prescription will be ready, it is almost never ready at that time, and you have to wait. Often, it has not even been started. - They once gave me someone else's prescription, which I didn't realize until I got home. I reported them to the NC Border of Pharmacy. - They often have difficulty locating filled prescriptions. It seems they have many different places to look. - When a doctor sends in a prescription that changes the dose of something, they continue to fill the old dose - I once called and was told my prescription would be ready at 3:00. At 3:00 I went to the store and was told my medication was out of stock. They hadn't bothered to check when I called. - I have found their staff to be, variously, dim-witted, snarky, curt, and, of course, slow. They are, in short, incompetent. Do not use this Walgreens unless you have no choice. read more

Sat in the drive thru line for over 30min for a customer to do a self COVID test in the drive thru line. Easily the dumbest and most frustrating thing I've ever witnessed. They need to figure out a different method for this because holding up the entire line (there were multiple cars behind us and many chose to drive off before even getting their meds) for 30+ minutes is NOT it! Once we finally got to the window, we had to wait an additional 5-10min for the Walgreens pharmacist to "wipe down his station" after the previously mentioned COVID test was done in the car in front of us. At least CVS has a designated location for COVID related customers. If Walgreens can't figure it out, we won't continue to do business there. read more

I intended to call my Dr. (again) which would have resulted in a lot of back and forth, so his extra effort saved me from that. This pharmacy has the worst customer service in particular Rachel, the pharmacist on duty. She was rude!!!! I was given the wrong dosage on my prescription which I had already paid for a 90 day supply. When I went to change it to the correct dosage I was still charged for an error they made. Made an online appointment for my daughter and husband to get a flu shot at 8:40 and 8:50. I received a confirmation email for both appointments as well. When we arrived, the pharmacist informed us they don't do immunizations after 8:30, but after I explained I made an online appointment she agreed to honor the appointments while explaining that the online reservation system is literally useless and doesn't notify them and shouldn't have allowed the appointments to be made. We could clearly tell the team was not thrilled to deal with it but we soldiered on. A tech came to get us checked in and was visibly irritated and pretty rude while typing in my husbands information. He reiterated at least 2 more times (were up to at least 3 now) that they don't do vaccines after 830 and the online reservation doesn't mean anything. We felt like our being there was a huge inconvenience to these people and I've never felt more unwelcome in a pharmacy in my life. I'm pretty reasonable usually but the customer service in this situation was severely compromised and I hope that this feedback will prevent this from happening to another unwitting online reservation customer. Walgreens, remember to be kind to your customers. P.S. They don't do flu shots after 830 and the online reservation doesn't work. Steal from folks by charging reg (or higher) prices on SALE ITEMS. They either do not update their computers with the sale price, leave the old sale stickers up making u think the item is on sale, or put up the sale stickers early making you think the sale is current. Most of the time that I come to this location there is a heavy set guy at the register that is always rude. Today when I made my purchase, I was waiting for him at the register and when he approached to check me out he didn't say a word, had his headphones on so when I asked him if I had any coupons he ignored me. Maybe if he wouldn't had his headphones in he would of heard me. I don't think wearing headphones while working is a great idea when you're suppose to be helping people. read more

It's a reasonably nice store in a good location, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. Yesterday, my husband and I went in for flu shots. The wait was 30 minutes, which was longer than we had experienced in other Walgreens locations. My husband, who is over 65, should have received a stronger flu shot, but it appears from the records that we both got the same thing. There was evidently a flu shot pomotion for a $10 discount on $30 worth of merchandise. However, no one told us about the promotion nor said that it needed to be used on the same day. As a result, we found out too late. We do plan to speak to a manager and will likely consider shopping elsewhere in the future. read more

Every time I go there to fill a prescription the same rude person is in the drive threw. He/she doesn't have ANY customer service skills and shouldn't work with customers. This last time he/she was yelling at me demanding to get out the drive threw cause "everyone is filling RX this morning so I can wait holding people up". That person said to come back in 30-45 min cause they were busy and if I wanted to wait then WAIT but it's going to be a long while!.. and walked away. Terrible customer service! I needed to get Claritin D before my sons baseball game and I waited 20 minutes for the drive thru to open. When the guy opened I asked him for Claritin D. He said you have to come inside for that. I told him I came specifically here and waited 20 mins because my LO was sleeping. He wouldn't tell me why he wouldn't give it to me (when it's in the pharmacy)just kept saying you have to come inside in a jerky tone. CVS will sell it to you through drive thru and so will Walgreens in Cary. He was just being a lazy jerk. read more

I love this pharmacy. I am usually a Target guest but they close early. Walgreen pharmacy is open until 10pm and was the only place open on Christmas Day. My son came down with the Flu on Christmas so we spent the morning at Duke Urgent care. He was so sick and I was worried that I would have to wait another day to get his meds. Well my doctor knew Walgreens would be open. He sent the script there and being a first time guest they had it ready as soon as I got there. Whenever we go I love to browse the HUGE cosmetic selections, I actually prefer a little bit of a wait. I have always found what we need, the pharmacist have been very helpful and friendly. They usually have compound medicines that are not available at my Target. read more
