Just found out my insurance won't allow me to use Walgreens as my pharmacy. It is so unfortunate as the people that work at this location are the best in the business, especially Lynn. Pharmacy has become a complete nightmare!!! I've been coming here for years without any problems, but in the last few months their service has become horrendous. Like others who've posted, I'm now waiting a week or more for my prescriptions to be ready. I routinely get messages after sending a refill request stating they are running behind. A couple days later I will call for an update and the representative will pull up my profile and say "oh we're out of that, do you want us to order some?" Or "I see your order, it was never processed. I'll work on it now." So days are wasted because they just don't do anything with the prescription until you call and follow up. I've also been told medication is out of stock but they ordered for me, just waiting for it to come in. I'll check back in a day or two and am told by someone else that the medication was never out of stock as previously advised, they were busy and just didn't fill it yet. It takes over half an hour trying to get someone on the phone. Half the time you get "disconnected" while waiting for someone to pick up. I came in a few weeks ago to pick up a prescription and was told it was getting close to lunch break and I'd have to come back. I pointed out it wasn't yet 1:30, when the break begins, was told "Well, we want to get ready for lunch before the break starts"!!! I was speechless. I called the next day to confirm again it was all set, before wasting another trip. After about 25 minutes a man answered and when I asked him the status he said they were very busy and could I call back some other time? We were then "disconnected". I gave up and just went to the store in person. The service is terrible and they don't care. They are going to lose so many customers with such a rude staff and constant screw ups. It's a joke how it's being run and the store should be embarrassed at what it has become. read more

I've had my very common medications delayed a week with automated calls being made to me to remind me of that fact every single day, each time stating a different reason. In calling them to ask what's happened, I've been on hold for forty five minutes. I'm genuinely extremely anxious about if I'll be able to get my prescription transferred from them to be filled elsewhere with how much I'm struggling to get even the basics done. This is the first time I've had customer service be so bad it's significantly hurt my health and caused me to become ill. read more

If you have prescriptions stay away. I have been going there for years and up until recently it was great. But because of staffing issues and the recent closing of the Walgreens in North Quincy and the transfer of all their prescriptions to Adams St, service has been brutal. Misinformation, extended refill times and the lack of communication is the norm now. read more

Love the employees of the store! Very convenient location for me. Manager was so annoyed with A return with receipt, he was nearly shaking. he spoke to me as if I didn't understand how a quantity discount works when the issue was the printing was so small on the sale tag -I didn't realize the quantity required. A simple " I get it, let me fix it for you" would have had me leaving impressed instead of embarrassed and annoyed. If he treats customers like that, I can't imagine how he treats the employees of the store. read more

The worst customer service ever they make up there own rules, lie and maliciously defrauded me by scanning the outgoing label as delivered there by cancelling the label for further shipment. Then when I came back for the package shift supervisor admitted to scanning the label in order to cancel it " I know that's why I did it" then threatened me " don't come back into the store or else " if they could get zero stars that would fit the customer service there. I've been going here for over 25 years for the Pharmacy. Up until about 18 months ago they would have everything you need in less than an hour. NOW, you're lucky if you get what you need within 2 days!! Their only priority is money and they have a low priority for that too! read more

Another great store from a great customer service focused chain. Better than CVS and more modern, in my opinion. A better and wider selection. More brand names, and very competitive prices. A well stocked pharmacy and great staff. Clean store, and a great staff. Plenty of parking. read more

This is one of my favorite Walgreens locations. The store is well stocked and the beauty department here is great. You can get a lot of good deals here. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I love that you can earn points and score some extra bucks to spend here with your purchases. I live nearby so it's easy to get to. I go here for my scripts, the staff are generally friendly and helpful. I've run into some delays with prescriptions but I chalk it up to my doctors vs the actual pharmacists. One thing I think that store needs is an interior overhaul. The one by the Quincy T is really nice. read more

I live close by to this store so I am at it often for various items. Normally the staff is very friendly and helpful. Today chAnged my experience. I bought milk there yesterday and when I got home I realized it was expired by 5 days. I went back the next day and the manager told me without a receipt or Walgreens card there was nothing he could do. Now I understand this is policy. But think about it. Do you really think I have this milk hustle where I take a sip and bring it back 7 days Later for free sips of milk ? What happened essentially is that you lost a regular customer out of " policy" when you could have given me an even exchange and I would continue to come there EVERY MORNING ". My 89 year old father goes to this store and a woman by the name of Steffonie is so wonderfull to him, helping him around the store so he can find what he needs. Steffonie is the type of employee that really makes a difference and has certainly made me and my family smile when he describes how considerate she is. Patty is the nicest cashier at this location. She is always funny and nice. This location is always busy and they have great mark downs. There is ample parking and close to Quincy Center and the major highways. read more

This is an average pharmacy/store but like the other posters have commented, the staff here is what really gives it four stars. I've never met staff there who aren't a step above acceptable levels of service. The store is clean and well lit, though I will admit some things seem pretty hard to find, or the store layout isn't intuitive. read more

I go here all the time and thought I'd review it. Yes, it's crowded. But, there's plenty of parking, some of the staff are really nice and helpful (Winnie) and the pharmacy is efficient and accurate. The managers even replaced a pricey thermometer that malfunctioned even though I no longer had receipt or packaging. My dau was sick and I didn't want to shell out another 50 bucks, so that was a huge help! Only prob that I've run into is that the pharmacy closes early in summer, special hours, which left me hanging, but now I know. Glad to have it so closeby...wish the D.Donuts at the plaza was better it would save me an extra stop! read more
