It's also a full service pharmacy where you can drop off your prescriptions and relax in the adjacent waiting room while it's being filled. When I go in they always ask about my 95 year old father and they make home delivery for his meds. Last week Walgreens referred me to Panama Pharmacy for some special medical equipment. I was shocked that the big pharmacy referred me to this neighborhood store but learned that they are Walgreens Goto for medical supplies. I often go out of my way to support this local small business and hope others do this as well. I don't expect their prices to be the same as a big store that can purchase in bulk. They make up for this with their personal service and convenience.

The amazing pharmacist at A1A offered to stay late past closing time on a holiday weekend to provide/fill the medication because he said "I can't have a child suffer". This kind of customer service and pure kindness is so rare these days. Although the location is a little far from our home, we will be using A1A exclusively from now on. You'll find pharmacists that do not hide behind glass and are too busy to talk with their customers. Rather, you'll encounter very helpful folks who are only too pleased to provide a full and very helpful explanation/details/etc. Dealing with these folks was a real relief from the usual CVS, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Walgreens pharmacies.
