Walgreens - "WalGREENs" 24hr. - Drugstores Near Me - Pensacola, Florida

The pharmacist, Candace, refused to dispense the remainder of the medication I had already paid for. The pharmacy charged me triple what I should have paid and dispensed less than I needed. I paid for 90 days worth of medication and I only received a 30 day supply. When I called to attempt to fix THEIR mistake, Candace repeatedly cut me off, told me I wasn't listening, and said that she would not give me the medication I was charged for. I have been coming to this pharmacy for over a decade and it has always been terrible. Extremely high turnover rate, rude, incompetent workers, and constant issues So many times I have gone without my medications due to this pharmacy's inability to function properly. The ONLY reason why I have stayed with this pharmacy for so long is because it is open 24 hours a day. At this point, I am going to get my prescriptions mailed from a different company's pharmacy. I am extremely disappointed with this pharmacy and will never shop at Walgreens again. read more

They refuse to help patients in need. Because of who the doctor is. Even tho the prescriptions are legit. Pharmacist is rude. The technician tried to help and the pharmacist said no because she's racist in my opinion. The technician gave cash prices and she said no the doctor doesn't work with us. As a sterile/non sterile compounding pharmacy technician and retail. I'm disappointed in the way they handled this situation. Knowing the doc said they don't have issues with Walgreens just CVS. It depends on who you get at this pharmacy. There's absolutely no consistency at this location. Walgreens is higher for their prescriptions that you can get elsewhere w/ better service. I've been coming to this location off and on for years now. I'm done. read more

If I could give the pharmacy 0 stars I would. The pharmacist is rude and unhelpful. I had questions regarding a drug prescribed by my doctor and whether a more economical alternative was available. I was handed a brochure about a drug savings guide and told to call my insurance. Ironically the brochure I was handed states "Ask your pharmacist if you can save by using generic substitutions... there may be a lower cost brand name prescription available." He wouldn't even come out to speak to me. He had the person working the register do it. Shame on you, Walgreens and your employee! read more

I have a scheduled appointment for a HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine @ Walgreens on Sunday 04/22 but they do not have the vaccine that I requested two weeks ago. They barely advised me today that they will not have it until Monday or Tuesday but they can't say for sure. It's so unprofessional that they had more than two weeks to hold that vaccine has it was a confirmed appointment. The problem I am having is that this would be my second dose of the vaccine and I need to get prior to turning to 27 years of age on 04/23... BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wife drove into the Walgreen's parking lot and was driving toward the Pharmacy Drive-Thru window when there was an employee van in the way. It was a Pharmacy Tech named Jennifer's van. My wife waited almost 10 minutes and she continued to chat and didn't move,so my wife honked her horn at her. Jennifer cussed at my wife,"FU". My wife wasn't feeling that well that morning and cussed back her. She finally moved her van and drove up to the Pharmacy window. Jennifer had gone into the store and ran up into the pharmacy pushed the male employee aside who was waiting on her and told her to never honk her horn again or cuss at her. My wife came home and called the Pharmacy manager and the manager disciplined her for doing that. Jennifer then after being disciplined called the police on my wife for honking her horn at her. When my wife returned to the store about an hour later and went through the Drive-Thru again a cop car pulled up behind her. There were a total of 3 cop cars at the pharmacy by now over what?? My wife honking her horn at an employee that thought she was too good to park into the parking lot like all the other customers. The manager Kyle then issued a No Trespass Warning in front of the police and said my wife wasn't permitted to go to their store again. She even tried to apologize to Jennifer for cussing at her,but neither the manager or Jennifer would let her. Well,after a week of talking to the DM,Corporate,and even the VP of Walgreens we finally got the Trespass Warning removed,but nothing at all happened to the employee Jennifer. She is still working at that Walgreens and filling people's medications. DO YOU WANT THIS PERSON TO FILL YOU MEDS?? We have since moved all of our prescriptions to another store who cares about customer service and will back the customer. HR even called me today and said they weren't going to do anything to Jennifer for what she did in the window to my wife. They even admitted that she broke company policy and refused to transfer her to another store or terminate her. We do 3K in business every month for the last 5 years we have been going to that Walgreens. It is a shame that a store chose an employee with an attitude/anger issue over a top rated customer. read more

3 stars because it is open 24 hours, and that has come in handy when we've been sick. The parking lot is not well thought out and it is hard and a wee bit dangerous to get in and out of the place. Never enough cashiers for most of the folks standing in line. I don't go anywhere in a hurry, but I don't mind not being 6 people deep in line. read more

Photo machine was broken down when I went in to pick up my pictures. I needed the photos immediately. I am a teacher and they were for a student that was leaving. The manager and the photo attendant were so nice. They actually sent the photo order to another store , picked the photos up and delivered them to me at my school! You can't get much better customer service then that. I highly recommend them for your photo needs. read more

I must say, I live at this particular Walgreens. Great service from the pharmacy to the coworkers manning the cash registers. I'm so glad they made this particular Walgreens 24 hours, just more reasons for me to shop here. I even know quite a few of the employees by name! Had an appointment with the Walgreens care center on 9th and langley. I mistakenly went to the closest Walgreens on 9mile which is the closest to my home. The Doctor there was very nice but said she was booked up but would call the 9th and langley location to see if i could still be seen the doctor said they would see me so i went to the 9th and langley location and waited for over an hour to find out the doctor had already left. is that how you handle your customers when they need your help? read more

First of all, my family has been a loyal customer to this location for almost 5 years now. We have always gotten great, professional service from the pharmacist and pharmacy employees, love the 24 hour convenience and its location in proximity to our home. Being disabled, these add up to making our life a bit easier and we are saddened now that due to the actions of one employee, a pharmacy technician named Jennifer, we will no longer be able to continue our quality care relationship with them. The second incidence with this employee happened on July 13, 2016. Suffice it to say it was something that was blown way out of proportion. This employee in the end of this situation chose to give false information, treat it as a racial issue and the store manager erroneously had a trespass warrant issued against me (which was lifted a week after the incident when ALL the correct info was given to police). Well, two days after the incident was when I found out she had lied to the police and told them I used a racial slur, which I NEVER use, and that was why it was escalated to me being surrounded in the drive thru by 3 county deputy cars and not being allowed to pick my medication up. I was completely shocked the day it happened and now, after 2-1/2 weeks, completely bumfuzzled that Walgreens would want an employee, especially one responsible for filling customer's prescription medications, of that character working for them. Lying in my book is of bad character; lying to the Police is an offense punishable by law yet Walgreens keeps a person of this character as their employee. We called management and apparently they are ok with that type of person working for them, but not me as a customer nor as a business owner. So, to Walmart we go with our $3,000 worth of prescriptions each month and they are just as close to our home as Walgreens. If you're thinking about going to this location, or to any Walgreens for that matter, please keep in mind they obviously do not care about the character of who they hire and who they have handling and filling your medications. read more
