One of my worst experience ever. Came in for a simple photo pick up. I was asked numerous times for a phone number a last name, lady raised her voice, gave me attitude. I offered to write down my phone number and last name because it seems like they couldn't figure it out so instead of asking me numerous times for the same information they can just have it in front of them on a piece of paper. A pharmacy located at 184th and Pines blvd, same plaza as Aldi. The store is well lit, clean, well stocked and organized! I do recommend registering for their rewards program to get good deals and earn points to use for the future. As someone who worked in Retail Pharmacy before I understand how and why most pharmacies can take a while to fill out medications, or why we may have to wait for a while before our medications are ready. I've also had my fair share of falling in line to pick up prescriptions (either for myself or for a family member) and it would take a loonng time, 40+ minutes. But I would like to commend this pharmacy. I had my prescriptions filled here a couple of times, and Most of the time they would be ready by the time I need them, and in times where in I had to wait, it wasn't that much of a wait (maxx 10minutes). and one time the Technician working actually helped find a coupon that was cheaper with what I had to pay with my insurance. read more

Does this pharmacy care about people that they serve at all? This is unbelievable. They say my medicine would be ready in two hours on Saturday . I gave it sometime and went the following day, Sunday, instead since I know how slow they are if I show up on time. I showed up on Sunday and they say come back on Monday. I had to talk to them back and forth before they agreed to give it to me. This unacceptable. I hope corporate look at this straighten this location out. One other time, I gave them a list of prescriptions my doctor gave me and they missed one. I asked them about it and they say call your doctor. Nope, nope, absolutely will not be going or using this pharmacy anymore. It's so sad and disturbing the lack of customer service that is provided today in 2022 in the medical healthcare world. 45 minutes waiting in line at the drive thru to pick up medication that was suppose to be ready- just for the Pharmacy Tech to tell me that they didn't have it and I would have to wait a few days for it. So why call me or notify me to come pick up my medicine than for? Terrible and a complete disregard of peoples time in general. A simple phone call would have been very much appreciated to avoid wasting so much time waiting on something that they did not have. It wouldn't hurt to hire friendlier people as well. read more

I had my doctor send a prescription here and it was ready in less than 30 min. I showed up by the drive through and even when the app said it was not ready for another 30 min, they got it ready for me. There are a lot of bad reviews on the communication, customer service and etiquette on the tellers. However, that is normal for all Walgreens. They do not have the best personal skills or customer service training. But my prescription was test really fast. I am Giving them 5 stars because I never saw the face of the cashier as I went through the drive through and there is tints and you don't even see who is helping you. read more

This has to be the worse Pharmacy in Pembroke Pines. You call to see if your medication is ready, they say yes, you get there and they tell you it's not ready. It will take 1 1/2 hour to refill. Ordered my pictures online for convenience but I guess this does not matter at this location. I recieved an email my order was ready.I sent my daughter in to pick up the order and it was not. 7 people went in and came out of the store. I had my dog with me and did not want to leave the car. Waited 50 minutes to get a flu shot. Never ended up with it the end and left. Had to ask after 30 minutes to get the paperwork to fill it out after not being given it after being told we would. This place is overwhelmed and the customers are ignored unless you keep asking. read more

So I just blurted out the name on the script. He didn't ask for a date of birth, address, nothing to confirm the patient. I paid the amount, he slid out the drug, and the staring game began again. The pharmacists are all very nice in person, but they really need to work on answering their phone calls (or at least pretending that they care). I was once on hold for 45 minutes with just one person before me, during which I grew a beard and saw a comet fly by. It is just highly improbable that there is no one available to man the phone answering system. This is not an efficient system and it needs resolution. read more

Not only did they refuse to honor a GoodRx coupon that was fully up-to-date and that my usual pharmacy (not this one, thank god) had taken last month as well, but when the GoodRx representative was kind enough to call the pharmacy on my behalf, they would put him on hold, pick up, and then hang up immediately. He tried three or four times today and will try again tomorrow. Incredibly unprofessional people who don't want to work. I recommend you find another pharmacy. Pretty disappointed in this location. I've had my prescriptions with The Walgreens for years when I switched to this location pickup everything went wrong. They are horrible with monthly autofill every month there was an issue to the point I did 3 months at a time so i would only have to deal with them every 3 months. This is the worst Walgreens I have ever done business with. The pharmacy staff is more than rude. the wait time is horrible. I have tried to get a prescription filled and have gotten hung up on 5 times. There is no one in charge at the store during regular hours or they do not answer the phone. Anyone you speak with tells you that there is nothing they can do to help you.... so frustrating, what do you do when you need medication and cant call ahead to get it filled??? I have a parent with Alzheimer and cant spend a lot of time in the store........ I will not be doing business with Walgreens will move my prescription to another company that can fill it for me. It's disappointing to see a newer location already do so bad. After being told it would be a 40 minute wait for a flu shot, I decided to go to CVS where it was way busier and I got it within 10 minutes. Also I was told my prescription would be ready in an hour and four hours later it was still not ready. The technician could not care less and neither could the short haired pharmacist working there. Do NOT waste your time coming to this location. You're way better off going to CVS or Publix, even Walmart is a better option. read more

I have been going to this particular Walgreens since they moved from being next to Walmart. Joanne was the pharmacist and I could always count on getting my prescription on time and she was always very pleasant. She is now working in the Westin Walgreens FYI. I feel bad for the employees in the pharmacy department. They all seem very unhappy. They used to be very friendly and now they have new management and new employees, none of which are friendly except maybe one or two. I don't like change so I continue to go anyway. I just wish corporate would take care of their own. They need more people on staff at the pharmacy. That would take the load off the rest and they would be maybe be happier. There are times after work I go to pick up my prescriptions and I sit 45 minutes at least to pick up. After working all day that is the last thing I would like to do. read more

Walgreens pharmacy is terrible. I just needed medication transferred from one store to another. They told me to come back in an hour which was fine. I arrived an hour and a half later and medication still wasn't ready. They told me to hold on it would be a few minutes which was also fine. After waiting 15 minutes I went back to the counter to see if it was ready and it wasn't and I asked what is taking so long and the only thing he could say was that they are really busy. Needed a physical for my new job. You go in and there's a computer where you check in. I get there, check in, and sit down. After about 30 min I ask the guy ahead of me has he seen anyone, he says no. I ask how long he's been waiting and it's been 45 already. We knock on the door and the doc comes out and just stares at us...we then had to say " just checking to see if someone's here". So we wait another 15 min then the guy before me goes in. I finally go in another 15 min later. The doc is by herself and no one is at the front desk. They need to change this. Two people are needed to keep the desk from looking deserted. I did get my physical. A whooping $75 for me to tell her everything about me and her to click on the computer. She was nice and sent me on my merry way :-\ read more

I hate that my insurance has changed from cvs to Walgreens. I have not had a good experience at any walgreens location it this one is particularly bad. The pharmacy staff is rude and you have to wait forever for a Rx. They told me it would be a 20 minute wait and 45 minutes I'm still sitting here (one of the only customers in the store) waiting for my prescription. There are 6 people working behind the counter. When it was finally ready there was finally a line that I had to wait an additional 10 minutes just to checkout at the pharmacy. They should definitely work on their customer service and better communication with their customers. I did no plan on spending over an hour there on a slow Tuesday afternoon. Horrible customer service at the pharmacy. Not enough staff, takes forever to get Rx. I have had the same insurance for more than a year, and have been filling prescriptions at this pharmacy for about as long, but when doctor called in Rx they still had my old insurer in their system. I finally got that straightened out and was told on the phone there was no charge, then I get to the window and am told there's a co-pay. I got home and Rx wasn't completely filled - missing a pill. Person at window never advised me. One big mess. If there was a no stars I would give them that. read more

We had a vacation trip and had to leave to the airport by noon to flight to Europe. My daughter was sick and Dr. sent two prescriptions about 9 AM. 3-4 hours later the antibiotic still was not ready. There were about 6 people inside and it seemed nobody care because nobody took the time to explain why after more than 3 hours the medicines were not ready. While there, nobody moved a finger to help us to get the medicine knowing my daughter was sick and we had to go. We went to the airport without the medicine my daughter needed. read more

Terrible service! The pharmacy phone system informs the prescription is ready, but to make sure I called and spoke with somebody and they confirm my prescriptions are ready. With two sick children in the car I wait 15 min on the drive thru and they inform the prescriptions are not ready. One hour later I go back and guest what... they still in process and even worst, one of them they don't have in stock ... what a s#** service!!!! Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with in my life. I was told my prescription would be finished at 12:30 and I drove all the way over there and waited in a line of 5 cars (took absolutely forever) for them to tell me it wouldn't be ready by 2:30. The kid that must have been no older than 22, had no idea what he was doing or the prescription I was speaking about. He said my birthdate didn't match the date they had in the system which I knew was a lie since I've been to this Walgreens over 20 times to pick up other prescriptions. The kid was obviously confused and I'm usually a very understanding person but when I spoke to his superior (the pharmacist), I was in SHOCK of the unprofessionalism. I finally got my medication 2 hours after I was supposed to take it, nor did I even receive a single apology for the issue. I will definitely be going to CVS pharmacy from now on!
