I used to go here but I am over it. They have a "timer" on the website that tells you the wait but…read morethat isn't true. If you go when it says there is a 10 minute wait that doesn't include the wait to put you into the system. Which is 10 minutes... and then you get the 10 minute wait on top of that. (which let's be really is more than 10 minutes) There is also a massive sign telling you to tip your stylist. Not a request. Not a suggestion. A demand. Rude much? I accept that it is something necessary but I don't want to have a big sign when I walk in. They don't have enough people and it is always busy. I go here to save money. I put up with all the issues for money. Not going to give a tip because you demand it.

What a horrible experience! I just went to have my hair cut, which I do frequently. I checked in…read moreonline and it said 10 minute wait. Ten minutes turned to an hour. I finally got to the seat and told the lady, Lis, what I wanted. She said no. So the man, Ken, tries explaining that they don't do that there. First, it's untrue as I've had it done there before. Second, it's nothing complicated. (Long bob with layers inside to add volume.) I've never been to hairdresser school and can do it on other people, I just can't do it on myself. I got up to leave since I didn't want to pay for a haircut I didn't like and they didn't make one tiny effort to try to work with me at all. Normally, I bring myself and my daughters here almost monthly and they've now they've lost 3 regular customers. Not a chance I'll give them another dime. What a waste! Now I am driving across the street to Super Cuts to actually get the haircut I was supposed to get an hour ago!

I came to this place with high expectations because I had a bad Botox experience about a month ago…read morein which I had to go back 2 separate times for fixes and it was still not corrected. I sought out another med spa for a touch up and to only lift my eyebrows. When I talked to the girl on the phone I told her I needed just an eyebrow lift which would be about 4 units total. 2 units above each eye. She said on Wednesday's it's $9 per unit. Cool! That's a good deal! I've been getting Botox for years and know my face and know how much Botox I need to get the desired affect. With already having 40 units in my face over the last month I didn't need much more to reached the arches eyebrows. My Appt was at 230p. I was told to come about 15min early to fill out paperwork. At 305p I was finally taken back. Long wait time. Botox appts should only last 15min. I should of already been done by then. I told the doctor and 2 assistants I wanted 4 units (2 on each side). As he was mixing the Botox he made the proper marks where the Botox would go and injected me. I thanked them and walked to the front to pay. Thinking it was going to be $36, the girl says $120. I was like what?! She started to make some phone calls to the back in which she said they injected me with 14 units. Why on earth would a doctor inject someone who already had a whole forehead full of Botox with 14 more units. I said I only asked for 4. She wanted to argue with me and kept telling me that's what the doctor injected. I said no, I didn't ask for that. Then another woman came out from the back who I'd never seen before and said that they injected me with 14 units. I said who are you, you weren't even in the room. The doctor never once came out to explain anything. Just these incompetent women who know nothing I'm sure about Botox but are just going through motions because they work there. I said I'm not paying for 14 units as I didn't ask for that, nor did I need that, and how do I even know if that's how much he put in my face. It could of all been a scam. I said well I'm only paying for 4 units. She said well it's $10 per unit. Again, another scam, when I was told it was $9 per unit on the phone a week before. I was so heated and my blood pressure was raged by this time. I tossed $40 on the counter and walked out. Steer far far away from this place. They are rude, do not listen to their patients, try to scam them for more money and do not know a thing about injectables. On top of that the doctor recommended lip implants because I told him my Juvederm didn't hold from a prior session I had done back home. I never said once I wanted anything permanent in my face! WTF!!! DO NOT GO HERE! The worst! I've concluded from the 2 med spas in Boston that I've went to that I've had horrible experiences at, that I will go back to Vegas for any future cosmetic injections. I feel the spas back home are more trained and professional about the products and listen to what their clients ask.

Now, I have gotten…read morediligently involved in using coupons, sometimes for things I don't even need when they are free or a moneymaker. So, ultimately, my point is that I always hesitate to actually spend a lot at any store like this anymore... because eventually a coupon will come out for almost anything. With that said, if I need something quickly and out of the blue, I don't mind actually buying it. Anyway, between all the drugstore chains in the area (Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens), Walgreens never has the best deals. They do have the lowest regular prices, but when it comes to sales every week, CVS outnumbers them every week. I also don't like that every time I seem to use coupons here, they enjoy giving me a problem with the coupons. With that said, they weren't being very friendly about it here at the start, and now they are getting much better. While I still prefer how other stores give me even less of a hassle (in Needham, management doesn't even need to come over to manually enter a coupon), the management team here is friendly and extremely helpful for whatever I need (and it doesn't seem to be only me...). While not my favorite location of Walgreens, in general, people are friendly, they generally have the items I'm looking for, and you can guarantee they will have a ton of cool, awesome stuff for cheap (sometimes up to 90% off!) right after any holiday, which is something that doesn't happen as often at CVS or Rite Aid. This specific store is also generally well stocked, organized and clean as well. 4 stars overall. Could be better, but since it's close it works for me.

I went to Dr. Fattore as an angry college student. The year was 2005, and I had had enough. I was…read moregoing to fight my insurance company for the breast reduction I desperately needed. I had exactly one year to make it happen - then I would be kicked off my parents' insurance plan. I met with Dr. Fattore and he was immediately receptive to my ideas. He didn't seem judgmental or dismissive or anything of that nature. He discussed the procedure, allayed my mother's fears and gave me a rundown of the risks. He took my "before" pictures and essentially said, "let's do this." This review is a paean to the entire office. Especially his secretary, Cindy (I hope she's still with him). Let me tell you something, readers -- this entire office worked relentlessly to get my insurance company to cover my surgery. They bent over backwards. They sent Polaroids by mail to the company because they wouldn't accept digital photos. They spent hours on the phone. For months. Not just a couple of weeks or something like that. MONTHS. We were in such close contact that Cindy could actually recognize both my voice and my mother's voice when we called. Just before winter vacation, the insurance company approved my surgery. I was scheduled for surgery maybe a week and a half after the approval. Tops. I checked into Norwood hospital. I was a bit nervous while being prepped for surgery. He let me know that he was going to use his best judgment regarding my comfort as well as aesthetics. I'd like to say I was wheeled into surgery feeling incredibly confident and happy, but I don't actually remember anything after that point because of the sedative. I checked out the next morning (okay, it was Norwood Hospital, so early afternoon) with my new boobs and a permanent grin slapped on my face (the latter free of charge, well, the copay for the painkillers probably helped with maintenance). Insurance covered everything except the deductible. Follow-ups were great. The entire office was just so happy for me and I was so satisfied with the results. The worst office visit I ever had was to remove my drains, and that was only because it felt really freaking weird. They have a reflector thing stuck to the ceiling above the chair, so you have something to look at when they advise you to look away (supposedly it wasn't intentional - it was just there when they moved in). And his office was great - really warm and inviting. His assistant was great at distracting me, especially when I had some drainage problems and they had to suction some stuff out (when they say "don't look" it's because they're going to stick you with a ridiculously long needle). It wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds, and nothing at the follow-up visits ever hurt. And they were super helpful over the phone as well. I went back to my apartment in Boston a week after surgery, so they fielded a couple of "I can't come into the office, but is it okay that my nipple looks orange?" "Yes, Erin. It's probably just a scab. You don't have to freak out." Yeah, it was a scab. One of the best things Cindy suggested to me was to use maxi pads instead of gauze during the healing process and she was so incredibly right. I saved money and I didn't have to tape things to my bra. It's been two years since my surgery (January of 2006), and I am still overjoyed with the results. My clothes fit; I feel confident, and best of all - no back pain! I still have scars, and I know I'll always have them, but they don't bother me at all. My shape is great and I'm finally in proportion to the rest of my body. "Satisfied" doesn't even begin to cover it. Setting foot in Dr. Fattore's office was the best decision I've ever made. (If you're interested in getting breast reduction surgery for medical need, feel free to contact me. I'll give you as much advice as I possibly can)
