I scheduled a vaccine on line as required. When I arrived there were many people in line for vaccines as well. Some had been waiting well past their scheduled time. They took my Covid vaccine card and said I could not get it back until I received my booster. I understand that things happen but it was very discouraging because I could not even reschedule. As they refused to give me my vaccine card, therefore "forcing" me to stay and wait. I was extremely upset and politely conveyed this to the person behind the counter. My concerns fell on deaf ears, she walked away, without making any comment, except to say " taking your card is our policy". You cannot have it back until you receive your shot. So although they provide a service, be prepared to wait a bit even though you may have a scheduled appointment. Most told me they waited 45 minutes to an hour. read more

They have literally everything, I have used them for photos, prescriptions, Covid tests, over the counter meds, soup, gifts and etc. you will pay a little more for some stuff but there is always a compromise, the lady that works the front register is always kind and helpful, she explains to customers how to save money and how to use their ebt cards and credit cards. read more

I am absolutely sick of this location. I work one full time and 2 part-time jobs. I switched my prescriptions to this Walgreens more than 2 years ago because they are open until 10pm and the one on Sumter closes at 8, which is where I switched from. So of course, I get off work and go to pick up my meds and there is a sign saying they closed at 6 due to staff shortage. That started 2 years ago. So I keep thinking they will hire someone and it will get better. Its still not better. Soo many times , I get out of work at 7pm and go by to pick my meds up and they are closed early again. Then days go by and they put my meds back on the shelf and tell my insurance company that I never picked them up. They don't even bother to give a reason anymore. Sunday is my only day off. I go there to get my meds and guess what? They decided to close for the entire Sunday. I am so freaking sick of them. read more

I hate to leave a bad review, but I haven't been impressed with this pharmacy. The past few times I've sent my prescription here, the ladies there can never seem to find it. I've had to call my doctors office and confirm it was sent to this specific location, which it was. Aside from that they definitely lack customer service skills. Employees here have rolled there eyes at me when bringing up my concerns. Everything I asked for just seemed to be a huge hassle. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

Tonight we went through the drive through to pick up our Rx, the woman cashier at the window refused twice to take our new insurance card after trying to charge us 53.00. We insisted that she run it through despite her saying it's not possible for the one she ran to be an old insurance and this a new one, she said either way it wouldn't run unless it was the most current... We again insisted on her running the new card. After he running the new card she didn't apologize for her wrong doing just told us our new balance was 8.00, BIG difference!!! I asked to speak to a male manager who didn't represent himself as such at all! The only thing he said after us explaining him our issue was it's handle now right? I'll take my business to cvs from now on!! read more

My daughter has a rare, extremely painful, and progressive disease (CRPS) and, unfortunately, needs to be on opiate pain meds. This past Monday her doctor renewed her regular script and added an extended release med because her pain was getting worse--both of which he sent electronically to the Walgreens. Later Monday she called Walgreens to find out when they'd be ready and was told the new med had to be special-ordered and would be available the next day, and the earliest she could pick up the other one would be THURSDAY. So she sucked it up and waited another day. When I called the next day to make sure the new med was ready, I was told it wouldn't be ready til THURSDAY, and that the soonest they could fill her regular script was now FRIDAY. I spoke to the store manager who advised me that each individual pharmacist could use their own discretion as to when to fill an opiate. So If you called Monday the pharmacist on staff might say Tuesday, but if there was a different pharmacist there on Tuesday they might tell you a different day. And so on. But he made sure there was a note in her file that she'd been PROMISED she could pick up her regular script Thursday, and told us he called the distributor to confirm the extended release would arrive by Thursday. By now her pain is a 10 and getting worse, if possible IT GETS WORSE On Thursday there was another pharmacist there who said the new med would not be there til FRIDAY (turns out the pharmacy hadn't even ordered it until WEDNESDAY), and that she couldn't fill the other script until MONDAY. The manager intervened and got the pharmacist to fill her regular script while I waited (for over an hour). As the lines both inside the store and at the drive-thru grew longer and longer, I heard them tell one customer after another that their order wasn't ready and to come back in an hour. When my daughter's med was finally ready, I was told to go to the end of the line, which now snaked to the front of the store. Again the manager intervened and rang me up right away. But without the new, extended release med, her pain continued to spiral out of control and she ended up in the Emergency Room. one thing we've learned over the past few months is that ERs do not like to treat chronic pain and will often send her away. But we needed to try and, luckily, they put her on some strong intravenous meds, which broke the pain cycle enough for her to go home. ...AND EVEN WORSE I called FRIDAY evening (purposely waiting for a time I didn't think the store would be so busy)--now 5 days after the script was sent to the store--and was told the script wouldn't be ready until NEXT WEEK because the doctor had neglected to enter a "diagnostic code," and the office wouldn't be open til Monday! So we got ahold of the doctor on call, who said no pharmacy had ever asked for a diagnostic code, and he called the pharmacy and straightened it out. So now we get in the car and head to the pharmacy and -- believe it or not--he would not give her the med because she did not have a Florida driver's license! (We had recently moved from New York State and hadn't transferred our licenses yet.) This was even more absurd than all their other excuses because, while it's okay for them to require a picture ID, you don't NEED it to be from Florida! CONFESSION Beyond frustration, I cussed him out and left the store. My daughter stayed there and cried and begged for the next 10 minutes and, after telling her "I don't NEED to fill this for you," he finally relented and gave her the med. I've reported all this to Walgreens's Customer Services and, while the rep I talked to was aghast and extremely sympathetic, who knows if my complaint will change anything at all. Needless to say, we will never set foot inside that store again, but for the sake of their other customers, I hope it does! THE END. Finally! read more

The associates who work at the pharmacy need to learn some basic customer service skills. First of all smile and look the customer in the eye and greet them. The pharmacist has no personality and she needs to be schooled in customer service as well. Not sure if I ever want to go back to this poorly operated pharmacy again. read more

Purchased a 20lb propane tank for the grill went home hooked it up and the valve was leaking almost caused a fire because my wife went to light it and I smelled propane. Called blue rhino they told me to return it or exchange it but come to find out the tank had a bad seal also the tank should have been Recertified and the tank was out of date. How this tank passed by the blue rhino filler is not a good thing. On top of all that Walgreens wouldn't give me my money back after almost having a fire at my house they wanted to give me a gift card This propane tank should have NEVER GONE OUT FROM BLUE RHINO FACILITY. this is why I won't go to Walgreens I was in a bind that's the only reason I went there. There is absolutely no communication among Staff at all , Went to pick up Meds ( Called in Yesterday by Dr )When I got there they weren't ready . Said the weren't covered by insurance, I gave them my Card ( Which was already in System) But hey told me it would be 20 minutes . Returned in 1 hour Told by next Employee My Insurance would not cover my Blood pressure med which is false . The put the insurance in for the 3 rd time and of course it worked ,As it did for other one ? But it still wasn't ready . It took over 3 hours , 4 different people to get Common meds filled . I will add that it hey we're not Understaffed they had several employees on . read more

This place is a hit or miss. Most often a miss. Long lines and a staff that doesn't go out of their way to help you. Often when standing in line, you are pawned off to the cosmetic register which isn't faster service by any means. I love Walgreens and most are great for quick convenient stops. This location unfortunately, not so much. You're better off going across the street to CVS. read more
