This review is strictly based on their pharmacy. I don't think I have ever waited less than 20 minutes to pick up a prescription at the Walgreens pharmacy in Nogales and that includes their drive-thru. I have had more than a dozen bad experiences here but this past Friday is the reason I chose to leave a Yelp review for this place. I went through drive-thru because after seeing the line inside that had over 10 people waiting, I figured drive-thru would be quicker. There was one car in front of me and after over 15 minutes had past, I decided to call their store because the line hadn't moved and I couldn't back up and leave because there was a line of cars waiting behind me. I am not sure who answered from the pharmacy but she has to be the most rude/unprofessional pharmacist I have ever dealt to. I asked her what was going on, that I had been waiting in line almost 20 minutes and the line had not moved...her response "we are very busy and you're just going to have to wait like everyone else" and then she hung up. Excuse me but just like the pharmacy employees, people in line waiting for prescriptions are busy too and we also have jobs. I wasted my lunch break waiting for a prescription and dealing with Walgreens employees who have horrible attitudes. I don't care how many people are waiting, it is clear that the issue they have at this pharmacy is their staff. When I finally got to the window, I waited another 5 minutes before the woman even acknowledged me. Not to my surprise, another unprofessional Walgreens employee whose nametag read Cristina and could barely speak in English. She went through the normal procedure of asking my name/DOB/address and when I gave her my name she replied "Que" and after repeating my name more than twice, spelling it out and receiving "que's" & "huh's" from her, she finally got it. 10 minutes later, and a wasted lunch break, I got the pills after dealing with her idiotic attitude. The only reason Walgreens Pharmacy in Nogales will remain open is because it is one of two pharmacies to choose from in such a small town. It is unfortunate that there are several pharmacists that work there who make their whole team look bad. The only friendly employee at the Walgreens pharmacy in Nogales is Animesh who always treats me with respect and gets me my prescription as quickly as possible. I will be moving pharmacies so I never have to deal with those rude people again. read more
