I waited in the drive-through for an emergency pick up prescription. Came in, waited for them to get my order ready. Shay acted like I couldn't have inconvenienced her more by asking questions. Then Aaron was feeling special on this occasion and unprofessional as ever, curt, in a hurry.. Carried themselves poorly, rude and unprofessional. Aaron didn't want to give me her name after asking multiple times. The floater, Daniel was nice! Morning shift people were really pleasant and explained what I needed to do when I arrived. The pharmacy is critically understaffed. I just spent an hour in on the phone trying to speak to a pharmacist because my prescriptions couldn't be refilled on the automated system. I rated them a 2 instead of a 1 only because the techs are very helpful once they're able to get to the phone. If things don't improve, I'll have to take my business elsewhere. Again, not blaming the techs, but whomever is responsible for staffing. Just outrageous. read more

I went in yesterday and had two transactions. The first transaction was supposed to print over $20 in register rewards (that you can only get in store and only with certain products). I was planning to use them on my second transaction but they did not print from the register. I called the manager up to see what was wrong and he told me to call the 800 number and they could give me the rewards. I went ahead and paid for the second transaction expecting to get my rewards back from the clearly marked signs hanging on the shelf with the products I purchased saying I would receive the rewards back. I called the 800 number when I got home and got hung up on by Melissa after she told me I would have to call Catalina (the people that own the register that prints the rewards). I called them and got an automated service that sent me to a website. I hung up and went to the website. It is so obnoxious trying to get these rewards that I am going to just bag everything up and return every bit of it. Long story short, if you don't receive your rewards when you are in store, return it all because you won't get anything back after. They just keep passing the buck to the next person so they don't have to deal with you. Customer service use to be amazing. Now they are the worst. read more

A+ pharmacy and pharmacist! I came in today, right at 8am as they opened after being at urgent care. Jessica, the pharmacist quickly pulled up the order and had everything filled in 15 minutes. She was so kind and explained all the medications and the precautions to take. I also want to mention previously when they were out of a medication, she ordered it and had it filled next day. This location is so bad. Do not go unless you have an hour to spare. The drive through is almost unusable because you will actually be waiting 30-45 minutes. Every single time. And if you go inside the pharmacy workers will just stare at you and not help you for like 30 minutes. There aren't really any other options as to Walgreens close to this area. read more

Okay, so my father is here from out of state, he uses Walgreens back there so we kept it the same. We just left the hospital, the doctor wrote him out 2 prescriptions, one being a pain killer. I walked in and dropped them off at 11:50am. Here we go: 1. The drop off window was closed, it states NEXT window please. I proceed to the NEXT window, were the pharmacist is on the phone on a PERSONAL CALL!! After standing there for 10 mins, a guy comes up and takes the scripts and states they will be ready by 1:30pm. 2. On the ride home my father states he is in a lot of pain and needed one. I called them at 12:07pm, I explained the situation and asked if she could at least rush the pain killers. She tells me she will have them ready in 25 minutes! 3. I got my dad in bed, left to turn around and drive back. I arrive there at 1:00pm, allowing them enough time to have it ready. Upon arriving there is a line. The first person didn't speak any English so a half hour passes and I am still waiting!!! 4. It is now 1:30pm (the original time they said it would be ready before I called to rush it). I ask for his scripts. They state they are working on them right now!!! I AM IRATE BUT WAIT.... 5. 1:45pm rolls around...I ask how much longer, the guy says the pharmacist just has to check it and that's it. I stated to him I was told it would be ready at 12:35pm, it is now over a hour past that, he gets a BIG additude and says "we only have 1 tech"...I then say, then don't make promises you can't keep cause you didn't even met the first time you gave me of 1:30pm! Again, additude and repeats "we only have 1 tech". I look at him and say I see 4 people working back here. Not one!!! 6. It is now 2pm....guess what??? Still NO scripts!!!! I was pissed I asked for his scripts back and I was taking my business elsewhere!!! The person says, "sorry to hear that" in a I don't care tone!!! 7. I walked out drove to Target, they had his meds ready in 15 minutes and I was on my way home.... THIS IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY...THEY SHOULD OF STATED TO ME THAT THEY ARE SO BACKED UP TO MAYBE TRY ANOTHER WALGREENS SO I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG...INSTEAD I WASTED 3 HOURS!!!!! I COULD OF WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE, HAD THEM FILLED AND BEEN BACK HOME CARING FOR MY FATHER. I HAVE CALLED THERE CORPORATE OFFICE AND THEY LOST 2 PATIENTS OF MONTHLY SCRIPTS. It's probably a good Walgreens, I just spent far too much time at it and had to go back too many times. My doctor called in a prescription to the walgreens near me - this is not it. I wandered over to it, coughing, sick as a dog, etc, and am told they have one of the 2 medications I need, but that the only one that's going to do anything was nowhere to be found except at the Walgreens on Edmondson Pike. They also ask me if my insurance had changed. Now, my insurance had just changed and I am sick as a dog and did not have the new card with me so trip #1 they tell me to come back with the card another day and they'll credit it to my credit card, and no it can't be done via phone, nor can it be done at another store... I leave about $55 lighter) Trip #2 I show up with my card, but it has no prescription information on it. I say fine, I'll get my information and be back, give me my card. I was a little gruff as I could not talk without coughing, but I was not being mean. She picks up my card and walks away to consult with someone else, and someone else, finally 3 minutes later returning to tell me the exact same thing. She does not bother to call the number on the card. Eh, whatever. Trip #3 I show up with printouts of my coverage, which I find out my prescription card had not changed, the one they have on file was exactly the same, just my main visiting a doctor coverage had changed. The person who's there gets it taken care of pretty quick but has to have a manger come and do the last part. The manager shows up about 10 minutes later, kabam, I get a credit for $16 and only had to drive 22.4 miles additional to get it. Needless to say at this point I am not amused. The store itself is clean, nice, at a horrid intersection which Walgreens seems to think is a great idea judging by their new store locations. I would give it more of a rating if they had worked with me, could use the phone or any of this could have been resolved without the additional 22.4 miles of driving and roughly hour and a half of my time. If I had known I was going to blow $3 on gas and 90 minutes of my life to get $16 I would have skipped the aggravation It's 2011, these things should be able to be done via phone.. read more

Honestly I don't even want to give this Walgreen's 1 star, but I suppose their service outside of their Pharmacy is good. Today I went back and fourth with the pharmacy trying to get them to fill a prescription my dentist had called in for me. I called the pharmacy three times and each time they stated they hadn't received it, all the while my dentist called them himself twice. The end result we instead got a prescription sent to the near by Kroger, where they had absolutely no problems with filling the prescription in a timely manor. This is the THIRD time I've dealt with this kind of incompetence from Walgreens Pharmacy. My advice - go somewhere else! read more

I will start out by saying that the regular staff at this location is very helpful, and can answer any questions you might have about the products on the shelves. So if you're going in for something over-the-counter, a late night snack, or something along those lines, then I would recommend it! However, every time I've gotten a prescription filled at this location (which I have many times), something has gone wrong. For example, I received a phone call informing me that my prescription was ready, but when I went to the pharmacy, I was told that they didn't have any in stock. The next day, I received another phone call telling me the same thing, but when I went to pick it up, their order hadn't yet arrived. It took me three different trips (out of my way) to finally pick up that prescription. Everyone's really nice, but it can be quite a hassle to get something filled there. There's also almost always a line down the aisles, so it takes a while to pick anything up. read more

I just came to pick up a package and I want sure where I was supposed to go for that, but instead of someone at ten front helping me they just all avoided eye contact and said nothing to me!!!!!!!! The pharmacy seems very inept. When I dropped off the rx there were several disgruntled customers. Each had been told 20 minute waits but all had been there over an hour. When they told me 7:30 I was happy to leave and come back rather than wait. Only problem was at 7:30 the meds were not ready and they told me 15 more minutes. The minute clinic here is so wonderful. They're really friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable and understanding and compassionate too. Definitely go to a Walgreens minute clinic if you don't have access to your primary doctor and don't need the emergency room. They also write scripts for refills of any medication you need. And you don't need an appointment. You can walk in whenever, but just know that if there is a line and you show up 1 hour before closing, they might not take you. read more

Everything about this location is bad. It started when I ordered pictures from their online app. They gave me a time that they'd be ready by. I showed up about a half hour later than what they quoted me and there were no pictures. Matter of fact they never even started the process. They couldn't figure out what happened and told me they were sorry and would try to rush the order. I stood there about another half an hour to get one freaking collage! This was about a year and a half ago and I'm STILL getting phone calls from this location telling me that my picture is ready for pickup. I keep telling them I already have my picture but I still get called to this day. Let's move on to their pharmacy. Absolutely horrible! Total incompetence. I ordered a prescription through the drive thru and they told me it'd be an hour. Ok, no problem. I'll run to Walmart and do some light shopping while I wait. An hour and a half later I go to pick up my prescription and they haven't started it either! Mind you I gave them an extra half an hour! The girl behind the counter didn't even apologize and asked me to wait another hour. When I complained she told me that I could move out of the drive thru and go back around and by the time she served everyone else that she could do it. Let me reiterate that what she wanted me to do was get out of line and get back in but now sit behind about 5 cars while they waited. I pride myself on being able to keep my cool and my motto is usually "It is what it is" but I just had a baby and was in severe pain with no meds and I about lost my shit on that girl. When that happened she miraculously was able to fill my prescription...all 15 freaking pills. I watched her. It took all of about 30 seconds. Bottom line : this Walgreens is worthless. There are other Walgreens locations close by. Do yourself a favor and keep driving. read more

This location is open 24 hours. That is great for me because often times I pick my meds up really late. They have great sales on their cosmetics from time to time. The staff is always asking if I need anything and are usually pretty fast on checkout. I also use their photo services and they always have my order ready in an hour. read more

I've been using this pharmacy for years simply because it's right by my house. Worst pharmacy ever. I get sick a lot so I'm always having prescriptions sent there. Seems like it's is huge ordeal every single time. My doctor sent my prescription 5 hours ago and it's still not ready. So now I'll get to go out at bedtime to get my medicine that I should have had hours ago. Not to mention I sat on hold on the phone with them about 30 minutes to check on it, only for them to disconnect my phone call. Needless to say I'm very frustrated with this pharmacy. The nurse practitioner at this clinic was helpful; however, she did not input my prescriptions correctly so the pharmacy did not receive them. When I asked the pharmacy, they said they would follow up and ensure my prescriptions would be sent so they could be filled. When I called two hours later, they still had not been sent. I was told I would get a call back. I did not. I called back 30 minutes later saying they had just received my prescription. The pharmacy technician was very short and rude when I tried to ask for a timeline for these medications, saying "she had just received them so she wasn't sure." She was very unprofessional. I see some customer comments from several years ago that some have had issues with the pharmacy. I have no problem with the pharmacy. Yes, some hours of the day have more staff but I find the health services as good as anywhere else. I think some of the misinformation comes from online responses from a national location vs. calling the actual store. Walgreen's efficiency with an 800 number fails, so call the local number. It works for me and I have maintained this store as my choice for several years now. The drive up window is also a huge plus. read more

I have been going to this location for awhile, mostly because of how close it is. However, I will start making the extra drive to Brentwood area for all my prescription needs. I have NEVER seen a pharmacy with such rude staff. I mean I have yet to encounter someone who was professional and nice at this pharmacy and I'm mostly talking about the techs or those that ring you up, take the calls, or fill your prescription. EVERY single time they make it seem like your an inconvenience for coming to the pharmacy. My other BIGGEST issue is every time I get a call, and I have tons of voicemails that are saved that say my prescription is ready BUT when you go there they say it's out of stock & if I want it they can order it (they always say it with an attitude and act like I'm lying and each time I show them the voice mails too, but they don't care!!!). I never really write reviews, but wrote this to hopefully give someone a heads up about this pharmacy. Stay away from these rude people who always seem like they don't want to be bothered with you. read more

I live near the Nipper's Corner Walgreens so I go there quite often on my way home from work which is usually around midnight. The employees on that shift are incredibly nice and helpful!!! This location had no record of the appointment I had made for flu vacs and they had none of the Flumist in spite of the fact that their website said otherwise. Waited almost 30 minutes for shots after they crushed my poor son's heart by not having Flumist, forcing us both to get shots. Yes, I asked about other Walgreens but the tech informed me that he DOUBTED any other locations would have it since they are a supplier store. Doesn't even bother to check. Walgreens is too big for their britches and they won't care until people take their business elsewhere. Their auto-refill often doesn't work either since the human who is supposed to put that info in the system doesn't bother to do it. read more

such a sweet clinic staff-- i came in because i suspected i had strep throat a few days ago (and i did) so they prescribed me amoxicillin. i was feeling even worse, so i went online to make another appointment the next day and see if maybe i should get a different antibiotic. a few minutes after scheduling online, the nurse called me and talked to me over the phone about my symptoms and went ahead and called over for penicillin instead and totally saved me a trip out there again! then, this morning, one of the nurses called to check on me and see if the penicillin had kicked in yet-- really sweet of them! 5 stars for the nice RN's at the clinic read more

This pharmacy is the slowest pharmacy in Nashville, PERIOD. You would think I would have learned a lesson the first time I used this location 5555 Edmondson Pike Nashville, TN 37211. In the same amount of time it took to fill my prescriptions (I was told 20 min, it has now been over an hour) I could have driven (maybe even walked) to Fred's Pharmacy in Nolensville TN 20 miles out of the way, had the staff there fill my prescription (never waited more than 10 minutes) and make it home before these guys call my name!! I will never come here again PERIOD. I understand that they need to be precise, and that someone's medication is important and shouldn't be rushed, but at the same time, if someone is waiting for a prescription it usually means they are in need of that medication with some semblance of immediacy! There is no patient waiting patiently ..lol ..at this establishment. The only saving grace....magazine rack!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY IF YOU ARE ON A SCHEDULE. read more

I learned from the Perfume Counter sales person that the staff needs to sell a certain amount everyday...so I try to check out at the Perfume Counter or the Photo Counter to help out the areas that don't see as much traffic. read more

The WORST pharmacy in Nashville. Waited in line on a Sunday night around 7pm at the drive-through for over 1/2 hour. The car in front of us appeared to have no interaction with anyone at the window (the drawer never opened and they never talked with anyone through the window). While we were waiting, we called the pharmacy, only to be put on hold for over 15 minutes. We got out of line (2 more cars behind us), and went inside the store to drop off the Rx. We were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. When we returned over an hour later, the Rx was ready, but the employee at the drive-through window was surly, sullen, and uncooperative. Getting a prescription filled shouldn't cause so much anxiety for an already sick patient. The only problem is that this pharmacy is the only game in town in this area for a 24hr location. They have the corner on the market in that regard, and they know they don't need to provide any customer service. read more

Just left there missing a debit card after paying for a prescription. Called and spoke with the manager chadwick. I told him what happened and asked how walgreens was going to make it right. I am now without a debit card for 3-5 days. Chadwick said sorry and thats it we will not compensate you. He went on to say it has happened before and we did not compensate them either. Customer service is just not what it used to be. Received a call about 15 minutes later after I had already cancelled my card saying they found it outside on the ground. While the guy that lost my card did say he was sorry he also went on to say so he must have put it in the right place and when I grabbed the prescription it must have fell. I will be taking my business elsewhere not because of a mistake but because of the poor attitude of chadwick the manager and the unwillingness to compensate me for my time and trouble of getting a new debit card. Just a little advice. A 5-10 dollar gift card would have gone a long way. read more
