Ticket taped to the top says Broccoli Cheddar and as I dive in, IT WASNT. It was Potato Bacon and I don't even eat pork. No one cared they just gave me what they thought I wouldn't notice until I left. Do not go late at night unless you want it to take forever, staff to ignore you, and a pack of sardines in the lobby. The only reason this has 3/5 stars is because some of the food I love! Gas is my favorite! & it's just very convenient MOST of the time. But when they suck they SUCK.

I was starving when we stopped here for a bathroom break. I ordered a veggie sub that included cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, Chesapeake seasoning and sauce, mayo, and garlic aioli. I ordered extra sides of garlic aioli and Chesapeake sauce. The fries looked good so I ordered those as well because they were wedges. It has been a while since I had that style. The food was ready by the time I left the bathroom. I grabbed the food, paid for it on a kiosk, and went back to the car to eat. Hubs went to use the restroom and grab a coffee. When I started to go through the bag, I realized no sauces were in the bag and sandwich looked less appealing than a prison sandwich. Hubs went back in for me to get the sauces and I was given ranch instead of garlic aioli but the Chesapeake sauce was correct. The food was just not worth the price or the carbs. I was no longer hungry but also still craving an empty satisfaction. This was the first place we came across after driving for a while with no civilization in sight. Next time, I will be searching for other options if I am in the same predicament. Maybe I went on an off day or maybe they are known for other foods. They are similar to the concept of Wawa but nowhere near the quality.

My last experience with the Wawa in Langhorne, PA was bad. The person in charge of drinks can really set the stage. I almost didn't want to stop at this brand. But this store in Middletown, DE did not disappoint in the least. It was great. The Hazelnut Coffee was hot and fresh, the half and half was good, and all the supplies you would need were on the coffee service area. It was well stocked and very clean. Mind you this was on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The store was very busy--but very well managed and organized. Lots of happy Wawa'ers! I also had a cream cheese stuffed pretzel--delicious. As previously stated, the store is clean and well managed. This is true of the men's room. Well designed site and I like the design of the store--very similar to the one in Farmville, VA and Robbinsville, NJ.

Bride got a steak fajita Stackadilla (which I will always pronounce like "Godzilla") and I got the Country Breakfast Stackadilla. Hers was loaded with steak, caramelized onions, fresh bell peppers, and a blend of cheeses. Mine was crammed with eggs, sausage, cheese and tots, and was so good that we both seriously thought about buying more. We'd made them combos ($3.50 upcharge) so we had sides of sweet potato waffle fries (excellent). She had a 16 ounce fountain drink and I had a 24 ounce house blend coffee from a machine that literally ground the beans and brewed the coffee right then and there. And it was really good. This cost us about 20 bucks for the gas and $20.80 for lunch. By the time we finished, I had already looked up all of their locations, and I am pleased to report that they have one just outside of Richmond! TL;DR- delicious, inexpensive food, cheap gas, and excellent service. And a car wash if you have time. Highly recommended.
