I thought for a minute while I was there: "Hey, it's 8 AM, it's 38°F outside, I'm on vacation... I'm getting a breakfast burrito!" But my wife, who can read minds (especially mine) knocked on the window of my truck while I was gassing up and mouthed "NO!" But if you wanted a burrito, or you know, if your wife isn't psychic, there's a little joint inside that makes burritos, and they smelled pretty good when I went in to get some waters for our long road trip that lay ahead. As roadside gas station convenience stores, go, this place was pretty good. And the restroom inside was clean and stocked, so it's already better than 90% of similarly targeted businesses in Arizona and California east of Hemet. I'll probably stop in here again on my next big roadtrip on the 10. And if my wife isn't with me, I'm totally getting that burrito.

Watch out for Tom because he's a tough guy. He actually had the audacity to tell me to "bend over" when I complained about the restrooms not being opened. So of course, I was upset and wanted to put him in the hospital, but you know...That's illegal. So instead, I came back later, took some pictures of Tough-guy Tom and began my formal complaint to HQ in San Antonio. Upon arrival, Tough-guy Tom kept goading me into hittng him, even following me to my car and calling me not-so-flatering names. While I would love to teach Tough-guy Tom the lesson his single mom never could, I will file my complaint, never step foot in a Valero station again, and happily live my life while Tough-Guy Tom looks for another job.
