The guidelines Denise handed to my sister

This store deserves NEGATIVE ZERO STARS for their customer service. On Tuesday June 4th I visited this store around 6pm with my certified ADA service animal to purchase neeeded supplies post surgery. My service animal had his service vest clearly displayed as well as his ID tags, he was leashed and in no manner during my time shopping was he disruptive or posing any threat to anyone in the store. At the time of checkout, the associate Denise, whom later identified herself as the store manager told me "Just so you know, your animal cannot come in here" this was in direct in reference to my service animal. I then asked her for clarification as I stated "He's a service animal, what do you mean?" The associate Denise then proceeded to argue with me which escalated the situation. Denise then stated to me that she would not provide any service to me as she knew the Washington State Laws and it was within her right to tell me that my service animal cannot be in the store or provide services. However, at no point did Denise ask me the ADA guideline questions such as if my animal was an ADA certified service animal or what task he is trained for. Instead, she had asked me to leave after I specifically requested to speak to a store manager. At that point, Denise stated "I am the Store Manager and you need to leave". After this, I told her I was going to file a corporate complaint as she clearly violated the Disability Act (ADA) laws, with no grounds. Denise then left to print out the ADA guidelines. She then handed it to my sister and told her "she (in reference to me) needs to read the ADA guidelines and learn what the law says before she decides to file a complaint to corporate". As a United States disabled Veteran with a disability and requiring a service animal, I'm appalled at the thought that this associate/ manager is treating anyone who may have a disability requiring a certified ADA service animal in this same manner. DO BETTER WALGREENS!!!

Pharmaceuticals are magic aye? Your slogan is " be well" which is messed up because you sell cigarettes , booze, drugs, and nothing but fatty unhealthy foods. Every time I go there I can pick up booze, smokes, and some narcotics. On my way out the cashier asks me if I'd like to buy three candy bars because they are on sale ( 365 days a year). I got a notice that my order was ready , I went in waited till I was asked if I needed anything, I tell her my name and what I am picking up, She said just because you have a notice doesn't mean it is ready , I show her the notice and she take my phone and stares at it for 5 mins . After some more talking give me my items. The second time it was almost the same . I tell her I got a notice that my order was sent to the store she was like how do you know it was this store ?? I ask her if this is the store at this address 4540 , she doesn't respond. The customer behind me says yes this is the address for that store.. The cashier then says to me just because that is the address does not mean my order is ready.. I go I got the notice two days ago and this is a first time I had a chance to pick it up. Her reply was that doesn't it is still ready. After 5 more mins she than check the computer and hands over my items. I may just have to have my items sent to the other location from now on.

The customer service here is incredibly BAD! My doctor called in a prescription for a walking boot…read more I came in with one already on, and was asked by the front desk lady (who was incredibly rude) what size it was. I told her, and she came back, tossed a boot wrapped in plastic on the counter, and told me my total. Thinking that's just what happens when I pay with cash, I paid, and walked out. Went home, put on my new boot, and it was the wrong type. Called them the next day and explained the situation. They told me I could come in on Monday to return for a refund since she did not try it on. Came in on Monday, and met with the Customer Service Manager and Jim, Jim was the only one who was pleasant. The CSR Manager actually told me to remove the hair that was on the boot because "I can't resell it like this!" Then they told me that the front desk lady told them she offered to try it on, and I refused. I flat out told them she lied, in which she then started yelling at me telling me she did not. Unbelievable! On the paperwork they had to send to corporate in order to refund me my money, they wrote the reason I returned the boot was because I "didn't like it." So again, THEY LIED! I will be letting corporate know.

I'd been going crazy with 8 scripts due different days of the month, some monthly, some 90 days…read moreetc. Then when I got them, I had to put them in my daily pill box each week. I had to spend up to 3 hours/month managing this. Ready Meds automatically sends me 4 weekly books. There are sealed pockets for morning, noon, and night. I can easily see if I've taken my meds today. Getting started was a bit of a problem. They told me they would mail, then they delivered, then they said I had to be here for delivery then they said they weren't set up for delivery. OK, mail works. I didn't ask for the drama. I also had to remind them to send the first delivery. There was some confsion about what I took and how often, but that was cleared up. If you get class 2 drugs, they will come in a separate set of booklets. And if you get something that you take when you like, it will come in it's own booklet. There were problems getting these set up with my Doctor. Ready Meds didn't bother to tell me when the Doctor didn't respond, They didn't seem particularly concerned nor did they call the doctor back. On my first delivery, they ran out of something and switched to another brand. But they didn't tell me, and it seemed like I got the wrong script. They also shipped me some sleeping pills the next month when the supply was meant for 90 days making my doctor question me about the amount I was taking. They haven't quite got things going for single customers. Reaching someone after about 5 is difficult. I ended up taking 3 of my scripts back to my old pharmacy. Readymeds is mainly set up for institutions. If you have pills you take every day, they will ship to you in booklets that will make your life easier. But if you have anything that isn't daily, keep it with your own pharmacy. It was a rocky start, but now things are going well. Consider this a qualified recommendation for those that take everything on a regular schedule.

They have since been averaging a…read moreminimum of 24 hours and after standing in line (literally only four people in front of me) for 45 minutes I had to sit and wait for another 20 minutes because I was using a GoodRX coupon instead of my insurance (which I always do because it saves me over $200/month) and they had to have the pharmacist "rebill" it. The only reason I keep coming back is because my ONE medication is so much cheaper here than anywhere else, but being a busy working, sports mom I just don't have the time for this crap. I'm done. I'd rather pay more and get my time and sanity back. Also - in sitting and waiting for my "billing adjustment" I've witnessed at least five people leave in near tears because of how ridiculous this place is. I truly feel for the people that work here, but they can't treat customers like they're just a bunch of idiots (one woman didn't speak English well and needed help understanding the bill, an elderly woman couldn't hear and basically got angrily shouted at, etc...) it's not ok.

They usually have the items I need in a pinch, such as various medical supplies. My only concern is with the Amazon drop off inside Rite Aid. I had a package there that was cut open, items removed, and then covered with black tape. I post this mainly as a caution to anyone else who may use this as an Amazon drop off location. Amazon will refund you however, it's a hassle and they probably keep track of how many times you request refunds. Pic of the tampered box included. The store and staff are a solid 5 stars, just be cautious and look at your packages carefully if you use this drop box.
