Why does this location have so many problems, and why do they close the whole store without notice from time to time? The inconsistency is frustrating. I agree with other reviewers about the lack of customer service at the pharmacy, which has been an ongoing problem for a while. I just don't understand why Walgreens corporate isn't addressing the problems at this location or why they are allowing this to continue. I would like to think a company that has been in business since 1901 would know how to handle issues like these. read more

Pharmacy said come back in an 1 1/2 hour to pick up only to find that the pharmacy was closed early and the drive through 10 cars deep. Important new prescription that needed to be started. Poor service and probably due to not treating their employees well read more

Worst Walgreens ever. Pharmacist rudest I have ever encountered. Will not go back here and maybe CVS

This pharmacy location is terrible. Even though everything online says they are open until 10 they in fact are not. I called before hand to make sure my prescription was ready as it was just sent in and was told as long as I make it there before they close at 8 they'll have it ready. So I get to the drive through at 7:40(20 minutes before they closed) and waited as there was one car in front of me. At 8 on the dot they finished with the other customer and I drive up and they already have a sign on the door saying they're closed!! I waited in the drive through for 20 minutes after being on the phone for 30 minutes for nothing. Extremely displeased in the service here as well as the fibs I was told. read more

Walgreens - I've been in this line in the same exact place for over 15 minutes to pick up a prescription. - Drugstores Near Me - Jenks, Oklahoma

Waited in the pharmacy drive through for almost 45 minutes and when I got to the front, the problem became obvious. The drive through worker asked me to spell my name no less than 12 times, then kept telling me I wasn't being clear, as if I've never spelled my own name before. I suggest making sure your customer facing roles are filled by people with good communication skills because that line could have been handled in less than 10 minutes if it weren't for the difficulties that particular lady was having with understanding the words each person was saying. I witnessed the exact same thing happen with the car in the line next to me while I waited. read more

They have great deals on closeout items.. seems like they are constantly turning over their seasonal items. Well well well where do I begin? First, the pharmacy sent me a text message saying they needed 'prescriber approval' for my refill (this was strange because I saw my doctor just a month ago who gave me 2 extra refills before our next appointment). But as instructed by one of the technicians I called my doctor's office. Needless to say, they were just as confused as I was and told me they'd give Walgreens a call. My doctors called me back saying "yeah i don't know what happened, I guess someone there didn't realize they were on hold" and assured me I had refills. But by the time this was confirmed I had already picked up 6 other prescriptions (also at this location) for my wisdom teeth removal. So, I got another text from walgreens saying 'insurance issue'. Turns out I only get 6 scripts per month but they (insurance folks) Said I could switch out the scripts I already got with the ones I haven't gotten (more expensive). So I go into Walgreens telling the pharmacist(south Asian with an excellent attitude btw *sarcastic) I wanted to switch it out. Told me I couldn't do that because I used my scripts "yesterday, and you cant switch them out on different day" but luckily he figured it out, told me "don't do this again", and told me it'd be ready the next day. Thanks, I was planning on doing it again because this was really fun for me! The next day I got a text saying my meds were ready so I head over and surprise surprise, they don't know what's going on, there's no notes saying I can swap my meds. at this point I'm 2 days out of my meds and I'm frustrated so I tell the pharmacist (Rob keen?) I need my meds ASAP. Rob has an attitude and tells me "hey I don't have to do this". Yes you do Rob. This is quite literally your job. And wipe that smug out of your face while you talk to a frustrated customer next time. And told me to wait while he figured it out which would take a while because the other pharmacist is off that day. I walked out without my meds. As a Gen Z and someone who quite literally works in customer service, I never write a bad review because I understand the industry. But the lack of sympathy and level of incompetence I received left me no other choice. read more

Love the Jenks Walgreens. They always meet and often exceed our expectations. The 2 pharmacist that are on staff are always informative and appear that they really care. We often have complicated needs and it isn't treated as a burden, it is treated as "we care your family is dealing with this health issue". As my ageing father has needed someone to stay with him so he can stay in his home and his health issues often have us in there weekly. When I go in without him the staff of the entire store who I have interactions with asked about him and quality of his health. Just,can't say enough. read more

So my dad, who is in his 70's, and on dialysis got home and his pain killers where 10 short of 120. He called them and waited for them to call back. The pharmacist, in Jenks, named Chad called him a liar and told him not to take so many but I know my dad doesn't take that many. My dad has been through a lot lately with the passing of his wife which they know about at the pharmacy. My dad was actually very nice and when Chadwick decided to call my dad a liar and tell him to get his pills somewhere else it really hurt my dads feelings but he remained nice and stated that he wished that the pharmacist didn't feel that way (I heard the phone call). I think this pharmacist should treat the elderly with a little more compassion and understand that sometimes there will be mix ups. He even scorned my dad for showing up right when the door opens. Excuse me but don't you get paid to help people when the doors open??? WT#? Don't have a hissy fit when you have to work when the store opens and watch your manners. read more

I am very disappointed in the way we were treated in the pharmacy. I had to drop off a prescription for my mother to get some Norco because she recently had to get a wisdom tooth removed and she was completely swollen on the right side of her face and in a lot of pain. She had a 2 day prescription for the same dosage and directions that was dropped off and picked up on Thursday. Today it is Saturday and she had run close to being completely out so I dropped off her second prescription and was asked if I wanted to wait for it and that the wait time was about 20 minutes. As a pharmacy technician in another Walgreens I knew that Norco was held in a time delay safe so it could be a little longer so I gave them almost 30 minutes. When I went back up to see if it was close to being done, the technician had said that it was not close to being done. At this point I had started to get a little frustrated because a woman had dropped off and picked up her 2 prescriptions before I had even asked to see if they were ready. They had put an exception on it, holding it from being sold, because she had picked some up before. I had to explain to them that she got a wisdom tooth removed and her old prescription was a two day supply and is almost out, and she needs that prescription. So I had to wait ANOTHER 20 minutes in store. I understand being busy, and I understand the time delay safe, but it is absolutely ridiculous to have to wait almost an hour, for 12 Norco pills. I just expected better service, or to be called back when they had questions. They gave horrible service both times the prescription was dropped off and picked up. We will not be returning. And for Jenks to be seen as such a great little town, their service was not very good at showing it. I expected better service, especially with Walgreens being so good to me. I have never had a horrible experience with any Walgreens except this one, and I encourage you to not come to this one any longer. At least in the pharmacy. They were not very caring, and with that being one of the core values of the company, I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with my visit.
