I have been waiting 30 minutes to get some test results read for a TB test I need to volunteer. The assistant finally came out of the room and said I had to wait for the nurse. I asked is she the only one to read them she said yes. Just give me the results and let me go! Why am I waiting over 30 minutes when I'm the only one in line. I finally get to see the nurse and she prints out the paper and says there you go. She didn't even read the results....lol. I'm going to need for people to stop thinking they are more important than they really are and let the dang assistant print out the paper! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've been to in Houston. I drop my prescription there (for eye drops - not even pills), they tell me it will be one hour. They call me to verify something 30 minutes later - say it will be one hour from that time (1.5 hours total). I go back in 1.5 hours (2 hours total later) to pickup, and they tell me they haven't filled it and it'll be another 15 minutes. 30 minutes later and I'm finally checking out. Something that theoretically should've taken them 30 minutes total takes then almost 3 hours. No apologies when you complain. read more

Probably the worst walgreens I've ever been to. If I was a first time customer I would never come back. I walked in to the pharmacy to make sure I could get a script transfered from a walgreens in Austin to here. They told me it'd be ready in an hour. I came back 3 hrs later, after I received the text stating that my script was ready for pick up. When I got here (after waiting in a 20 min line) they told me I couldn't pick up the script until tomorrow. It is now "tomorrow" and I'm sitting in the drive-thru waiting "15 mins" for them to fill my script because apparently it was "filed away and no one every entered it." The staff was unprofessional and unapologetic about their repeated mistakes. I will never return to to this walgreens, and it has me questioning walgreens as a whole after these multiple encounters. I delt with 3 separate people at this walgreens... It's not like I only talked to one incompetent person. Find another pharmacy unless you have the patience of a saint. read more

This is by far the greatest walgreens I have ever been do. PLEASE NOTE!!!! This is one of the busiest Walgreens in Houston, Tue checkout line even is like your at the Bank instead of the traditional layout to compensate for the heavy flow of customers. If the line gets long people quickly respond to the employees page for checking assistance and they will get you out of line faster. The best part about this store is it has a boutique in it! I know some of the brands have changed over time so as of today 11/15 they sell Avenue, LA Roche posay, Vichy, Lierac, nuxe, Rodial, Dr hauschka (might of spelt wrong), Bioxedia, le couvant des minimis, rilastil, talika, 'tini beauty, vera Moore, pur minerals, studio make up, pop beauty, VINCENT LONGO, Cargo, prestige fragrances, Demeter fragrance library, 100% pure, japonesque, make up brushes, Macbeth cosmetic bags, kinerase, and EDIA cosmetics for hair. I am not a regular at this Walgreens. I was staying across the street at the JW Marriott and had forgotten to pack some specific toiletries. Ran across the street early in the morning to get them. The Walgreens seemed clean and organized but the staff wasn't friendly. Also, the checkout line got long and it seemed to take a while to have a second employee come to the front to help. The person that I assume is the manager was not very attentive or friendly. I went to this location because it was convenient. However, I would not be a regular if I lived close. Best selection of cosmetics of any Walgreens I have ever been in before. Counters and counters of cosmetics, and displayed so nicely, too! The only way this experience could have been any better is if the lady at the counter had offered to exchange a creamy highlighter I had bought a few weeks earlier for free. (For some reason, the highlighter had decided to "separate" layers and there was no way I could put something that was half clear-half silver on my face to achieve the perfect cheekbone). read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could! I wanted to purchase two Special K nourish chewy nut bars that had a special price of 2 for $5. When I was ready to pay the cashier rang them up at $4.49 each. Obviously I mentioned this to her and she asked the manager. As she asked I went back to the shelve to take a picture of the promotion. As the "manager" got back he said that promotion was expired and the promotional price was no longer on the shelve. I showed him the picture that I had just taken! And he had the nerve to say he didn't know where I got that pic from but it wasn't there!! Of course I told him he probably had just taken it off. And this asshole had the nerve to say "I will give you the price but don't ever steal a picture from is to steal from us", all I front of other customers! What kind of training do these managers go through? Calling a paying customer a thief right in front of other customers just because I was asking for the price to be honored?! This Walgreens is the ish! Immediately greeted upon entering. The lay-out is that of a department store of sorts. There is a specific "department" for make up and a young lady there at all times. The shelves are always stocked. I am not a huge make up wearing individual but when I want my lip gloss I don't want to have to hunt. This store carries a lot of items the other stores don't. This has been the worse pharmacy experience I have ever had. Let me start by stating that I only used the drive through pharmacy service, I didn't go inside, and I didn't see the wonderful cosmetics section and all those attractive things that everyone is talking about. My review is strictly related to the quality of the pharmacy department's customer service. I never fill any of my prescriptions at walgreens, but this time I did because my doctor advised that walgreens had this birth control pill for $9 bucks a pack, which turned out to be not true... but that's not the problem. So I am in the drive through, I patiently wait my turn, and then I spell my name for the girl about 3 times, which is fine cuz my name is complicated, and she finds my prescription and tells me my total is $100 something bucks. I ask her to double check, because of course I tell her my doctor said it would be much cheaper than that. And then she tells me that's the price for 3 months worth, unless I just want one month, which comes out to $30 something bucks. I just assume my doctor was mistaken, and this price still beats what I was paying before, so I tell the girl I just want one month. Then she has the nerve to tell me to drive around and go back to the end of the line!!! I am a bit taken back by this, and I tell her that I don't mind to wait. She says she has to reprocess my order, and I have to get back in line because that is their policy, and that she can call the manager, but the manager will tell me the same thing. It was her mistake to begin with! why should I have to go through the line again? So I just tell her never mind, I'm not doing that and I leave. From that moment I knew I didn't want to go back to the walgreens, but I had to because I really needed my prescription and couldn't get ahold of my doctor to switch it to another pharmacy. So when I went again and spoke to the manager and told her about the terrible experience that I had the day before, and she apologized and did the whole song and dance and we were ok. So I give her all my info and spell my name again and all.. and then she keeps asking when they called in the prescription, what my doctor's name is, what the name of the drug is, etc. Turns out, they don't have any record of any prescription in my name ever. How can this possibly happen if just the previous day they had 3 months worth ready for me? I could be wrong about this, but it seems to me like the rude girl from the day before deleted my prescription out of spite. I was so upset. 2 trips to the pharmacy and still no pills. Needless to say, I called my doctor the very next day, switched the Rx to Kroger pharmacy, and got 3 months worth for $9 dlls each, no problem. read more

Employees in the pharmacy are extremely rude. They profile people and there is a general assumption that all customers prescribed benzos are addicts. Only reason I come to this Walgreens so much than I want to is just because it's down the street from where I live. The convenience of it is just so great! Whether it be to pick up my medicine through the drive thru or pick up any thing I missed without having to drive to the grocery store such as toiletries or random food items. The location is conveniently located, well laid out and has lots of items, especially cosmetics that are not in other Walgreens. Unfortunately, the staff is extremely unhelpful and rude. While sitting waiting for a prescription which took approximately 30 minutes, I observed a couple of things that really bothered me as a human being, both involved elderly women. One woman asked an employee about getting some allergy medicine that was behind lock and key. He very quickly said "just ring the bell". The lady went back to see if she could see a bell and was talking to herself because she just didn't understand. I did ask if I could help and showed her where the bell was. She was grateful. The other incident happened at the pharmacy. There was another elderly lady standing in line (and it was a long line). I could tell it was very difficult for her to stand for very long as she was using her cart for stability. I'm not sure but I think she made it to the front of the line and perhaps was told her Rx was not ready. I did see her sitting in the chairs for those waiting. After a while, she went to the consultation window. Pretty sure she went to that window because the line was still very long. The pharmacist finally went to the window and the lady asked a question, the pharmacist hastily responded and then rather rudely said the woman could not stand at that window. Poor woman just got her cart and went back to sit down. I know it's a very busy store. Perhaps more employees would help. read more

Slow pharmacy service. The pharmacy drive up window does not have a working intercom. The drive up window dispensing tray and call button is filthy dirty. You would think Walgreens would have more pride and make this a flagship store in the heart of the Galleria...but it is overall a dump. read more

I don't have anything to complain about this location. I love the fact that it is open 24 hours, especially the pharmacy. The pharmacy has come in handy a couple of nights. I love this Walgreens location. I usually go to three and this one is my favorite. I made this my preferred location because it is down the street from my job so between that and needing to buy things here and there I come pretty regularly (although I don't have the check-ins to prove it-yet!) It is a true convenient store. I've gotten everything from food to medicine, to birthday stuff (gifts lmao) to Chapstick which I buy here often as my lips are perpetually dry. I love Houston. -__- I normally pop in after work and despite the rush of people I get in and out promptly every time! Yes I agree she is all alone for phone customers,drive thru and counter but when the hubby handed her the precription and told her its for him she still kept asking "is she on medication?" And the hubby said "No i am not and it is for me"? And she said oh ok! But then she asked again, "Is she allergic on anything?" Duh!!! And she said "Oh i didn't pay attention about the age" ugh? What it has to do with anything? Also we were first in the line yet she called the other guy next to us! Ummm whatelse? I ordered 4 4x6 photos from this Walgreens online and was emailed they would be ready by the next morning. When I drove there the following afternoon, they told me the machine didn't work and the pictures hadn't printed yet. Apparently it is wrong to have to go to the er. This walgreens seems to think getting prescriptions from multiple Dr's over an extended period of time is a problem. I guess my wife should start calling ahead to see if the last dr that her a prescription is working. I would understand if the time on prescription should last overlapped the new one but they don't by over a month. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to another pharmacy. Waited an hour for my prescription to be filled all to be told they couldn't fill it.
