I have a pain Rx, insurance had me get 7 days then come back after a week for the rest of the Rx. I called Walgreens to see why it wasn't ready and they said I had to call it in. I wasn't told that I was told to come back it even says it on the bottle. I asked if I could get it today and the said NO, tomorrow, At first she said 9 Am, then she changed it to 11. I think she's just trying to torture me I had told her I was completely out and really needed it and please could I get it today. The main pharmacist has lied about having meds, instead of filling partial prescriptions. The next day the other pharmacist filled me a partial. David, the pharmacist has also told my doctor he didn't want to fill a pain medication because it was early but was unaware of other medical conditions that occurred that required 5x a day vs 4x. Five is the limit. But he overrode my doctors orders! I gave them 2 stars because the woman Pharmacist is WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH! read more

Yet another horrible experience picking up my prescription. Unfortunately this time I was sick with no one to pick them up for me. Yet again, pharmacy had emailed and texted me to pick my prescription but it was NOT FILLED. Thankfully they got my antibiotics right. Not only did I wait 15 mins in the drive thru only to go inside to wait another 20 mins but when I was upset that AGAIN my meds aren't ready one of the techs starts talking trash to me. Told me, "Your prescription is ready when I find it doesn't matter what we sent you." Horrible HORRIBLE customer service once again I would give them ZERO stars but Yelp doesn't give the option. read more

"I cannot believe how incompetent the staff at Walgreens Pharmacy located at 6122 Broadway is. The customer service is poor, and their only concern seems to be obtaining your phone number and sell your information. Today, I went around 12:22 PM to pick up medication for my 2-year-old granddaughter's ear infection (Walgreens receipt #07534 6122). There were approximately three other customers behind me in line to pick up their medication. The young clerk gathered my information and proceeded to complete the order. Upon checking out, the clerk requested my phone number to complete the transaction. I refused to provide my phone number because I am tired of businesses selling my information, which leads to me being bombarded with spam calls. The young clerk stated that I was required to provide my phone number because the company would be penalized if no number was provided. I refused to comply with this request. This information was then relayed to the pharmacist. I informed her that I could provide my driver's license to confirm my identity. The pharmacist then requested that I provide my son-in-law's phone number. I told her that, like many people, I am so accustomed to using my phone that I didn't have it with me, nor did I know his number by heart. I informed the pharmacist that she could obtain my son-in-law's information from their records, which they already had. After going back and forth on this issue, she ordered the clerk to call my son-in-law via telephone. The sole purpose was for him to give consent to enter his phone number in their database, which they already had. The clerk proceeded to call my son-in-law at work, but no one answered. All this time, three patrons were waiting to pick up their medication and were upset because of this ridiculous and selfish policy. Finally, after ten minutes, the pharmacist made an override and completed the transaction. This is totally unacceptable and very poor customer service. I used to go to a Walgreens that was close to my house. it closed a couple of years back and my records were moved to another Walgreens. after giving them the benefit of the new pharmacy not having the staff to handle the business of what had been two pharmacies, I now know that it is just not going to get better. I go in and find it always a lengthy wait because the technicians are too few or always on the phone. my next doctor visit I am getting my prescriptions moved to somewgphere else. read more

Too many issues recently with the pharmacy at 9200 Cullen as well as the Corporate Office. Waiting on a refund for almost 30 days and still waiting. There is poor communication, lack of followups by corporation supervisors in a timely manner, store workers lacking quality customer service skills, and the list goes on. It is not surprising that my convenient neighborhood store location s have been closing one by one. One closed in January and another is closing this month. This has forced me to go out of the way to pick up my prescriptions. When you are disabled convenience matters. I am seriously considering changing my health insurance so that I can go back to CVS Pharmacy. I didn't have these issues with them. Smh. read more

This pharmacy is just awful. I can't change pharmacies because of my insurance policy or I definitely would. It really isn't the fault of the people who work there, it's Walgreens that refuses to add more staff. Every time I have been there, the few employees have been working studiously to handle the customers. They just do not have enough staff to handle how busy this location is. If I were to guess I think I spend an average of 25 minutes whenever I need to pick up a prescription. If you need to call - well, just hope that you never need to call. You will have to call multiple times to get through to a person and each call is at least 20 minutes of being on hold. I'm able to write this long review because I'm waiting in line right now lol. I wish i could give no stars. The Walgreens on TC Jester at 18th street is the worst. I made an appt to get a flu vaccine, waited 45 mins to get it and the pharmacist said to come in early for my next one. I did as he indicated but then he said he couldn't see me for another 40 mins. My time is as valuable as theirs and if my doctor doesn't book 8 people for vaccines while the pharmacist also fills RX at the same time, then Walgreens shouldn't either. I went to Kroger got in and got the vaccines in 10 mins WITHOUT an appt. and was on my way. Also always pisses me off when employees say "i just work here". I will never go back again. read more

I was on hold the entire 19 min drive got there just to see them leaning on the counter and the other ASSociate was helping ONE customer in their lobby. This pharmacy deserves zero star. I have been going there for about two years, and I have never got any good customer service and they are ALWAYS short of staff, either medication are out of stock, or big delays. After the yesterday's incident, where the pharmacist asked the manager to check the medication in the safe for availability, the manager simply ignored the request and continue to do "his things" on the computer, knowing I was standing at the consultation counter waiting on him. After 20 minutes me of staring at him, he finally asked me if he could helped me, and I said yes, the young lady had asked you to check the safe for the specific mediation's availability, then only he went to check, and it took him another 10 minutes. Needless to say, he came back and told me the med was not available. I am transferring all my my prescriptions to the CSV across the street. This store has a bad management and the bad attitude and low morality is obviously a top-down behavior, where management don't appreciate the employees and unable to provide good training, the rest of the employees are unhappy and incompetent in every level. read more

Read all the other negative pharmacy reviews about this place.. they aren't lying. Was just on hold for 45 minutes waiting to get a simple yes/no question answered. When I wasn't on hold and actually talking to someone, they wouldn't even let me finish my question before putting me on hold again. Then when a man answered after 30 minutes he flat out just hung up on me instead of answering my question. After ~45 minutes I finally got my question answered but there was no resemblance of empathy or quality customer service you'd expect after being on hold for so long. And it's not like they had other calls ahead of me.. the automatic Walgreens hold queue told me when there was 1 person ahead of me, but after a few minutes I got through and obviously was put on hold by them over & over. This pharmacy is super close but I'd gladly drive 20 minutes out of the way to ensure this location (and particularly whoever works the pharmacy there) never see a dime from me again. read more

Truly awful. They have a few nice pharmacy assistants so I'm giving two stars but if you try calling them you are consistently put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and then they just hang up the call instead of taking it. I've watched them do it from inside the store when they are busy and I've been on the receiving end of that at least six times. I'm sure all pharmacies are under major regulation pressure but they also really like to get in the way of doctors and question "whether or not this medication is appropriate for you." Horrible experiences with this location every time I have come. The pharmacy ran 30+ minutes behind on flu shots and Al would not answer questions. The photo department called me to cancel my order and never canceled the order. I tried calling and was on hold for 45+ minutes and finally had to drive to the store and ask them to cancel my order which they refused to do and would not allow me to place the order at another store and reuse my coupon since the first order was never fulfilled. I went early so they could process it early and I could have a very important medicine before they closed and sure enough they had not even gotten started on the process and they are about to close for the night. This is my neighborhood Walgreens and I'm torn on this review. There is a super huge employee turnaround at this location, meaing there are a few familiar faces but they change ALL THE TIME. The store staff are fairly friendly when they are paying attention to you. The pharmacy .....is mostly a nightmare. The faces rotate regularly. They tend to be slow and their notification emails are worthless. It doesn't matter when you go - it is always understaffed and busy. There is a guy that is really nice and helpful and a girl (that I haven't seen in a while) that was nice. I went in the other day, and it seemed like the "new" girl at the counter could care less about any of us waiting in line...she was very nonchalant and wore way too much make up. I will continue to go to this location bc it's close but I always prepare myself mentally when I go to the pharmacy. read more

Nothing too special about this one, the stock is irregular and it's a bit worn. However--it's cheaper on many items relative to other drug stores around Heights/Montrose. This is the worst Walgreens I've ever done business with. I have a long history with the Walgreens in Midtown and love the pharmacy manager Mr. ALI. This pharmacist was rude and refused to fill my Rx. When I asked a question she seemed agitated that I would question her. I was just trying to understand. The manager defended the store action and basically told me it was easier for me to establish a relationship with the CVS across the street. How does Walgreens stay in business? So my advice to anyone reading is to take Joseph the Manager's advice and simply use the CVS across the street. read more
