I've been a loyal Walgreens customer my entire life--my parents filled my prescriptions here when I was a kid, and I've continued that loyalty as an adult. After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I'm honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods--over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on. When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had "no idea" what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused--not because no one was available, but simply because she didn't want to. She also said she couldn't help because it was "late," even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on. She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn't check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn't look into the delay, and wouldn't offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful "no problem" after providing absolutely no assistance. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I've trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way--especially when they're relying on a time-sensitive prescription. read more

Refused to transfer a script or order a med they could have gotten quicker than Walmart... " you have to take it within 24 to 48 hours for it to be effective" it's a prophylactic antiviral that I got for prescribed for exposure. It's not your business to tell me that you can't fill a drug because it won't be effective in the timeframe, it's your job to fill the medicine. My wife is running out of her Blood Pressure meds. Prescription reordered through this Walgreens. Picked up scripts last Friday and they had everything but her BP meds, which they said they are out of. Okay I said, when will you be able to fill it? I don't know sir, I guess when we get some, we will call or text you. - in a rude tone. Today (Sunday) I called to check on her meds to see when they might get filled. Her BP is up cause she's rationing her meds and she only has one pill left. The lady who answered said they wouldn't have it until Monday. Okay I said so I can get it then? Yes we will call you or text you she said, we don't give out medications on the weekends. Again in a rude tone. Wait I said, maybe there is a different Walgreens that could fill it? She said you are welcome to call and ask. That's not something you do automatically when someone's prescription is late I asked. No we don't do that she said with a tone. Bottom line. This is the rudest I've been treated by someone NOT providing service who clearly doesn't care about helping others. Good job Walgreens, I'd blame it on one bad employee but clearly there are several bad employees and a lack of patient first policy's. If you are out of a critical drug and the patient is out, check to see if there are any other options at your near by stores. Shame on you! read more

This Walgreens fills my dog's medications and each pick up has been pleasant and timely. Today, I called 2 times regarding a prescription- my vet did call it in but only 1 could be filled and one script was incorrect. The person who answered the phone was patient and kind, quickly let me speak with the pharmacist to reach a conclusion regarding the one medication. They filled the prescription my vet recalled in and made it a PRIORITY fill because missing a dose would cause my fur baby to have a seizure. I am deeply grateful for the pharmacy team that went above and beyond to help me today. read more

When Nicki the pharmacist is working everyone seems to be unhappy. I'm a regular customer there. Today (22 September 25) I went to pick up a prescription and it appeared that it wasn't run through my insurance. I asked if they could run it though my insurance and people fell apart. They were going to charge me roughly $43 more than I usually pay. They weren't listening to the customer. After a small delay I got my prescription fixed. The young lady who fixed it said she had a migraine. I thanked her for fixing my issue. I believe we may have to give them a review every time we do business there, good or bad. Most drive through staff friendly and helpful. One employee just stares at you sullenly and says nothing. Nothing at all. Then if YOU don't speak she walks away. Same way on hand off. I will start by saying that we have used this pharmacy in the past many times and have always been happy with the service. This past Friday evening, August 30, 2019, my husband became ill three weeks after open heart surgery and we had to get a prescription filled for his infection. The pharmacist and the cashier were both absolutely unfriendly. I asked the cashier if there was any way to fill his prescription more quickly than 45 minutes later and her response after I interrupted her from an obvious personal call was, "We will get to it as quickly as we can, as you can see we are all busy." Needless to say we had to wait for nearly 45 minutes with my husband running fever and waiting in the chair with his heart pillow because he was sneezing and coughing while in pain. Shame on that lousy staff. We will not be back. I will move my emergency business across the street to CVS. read more

Worst staff ever. They have the rudest staff in the drive thru pharmacy I have yet to experience. They don't greet, they say unne comments about you and forget to mute I guess, won't look at you as they talk to you and roll their as when they do. Not to mention a waited two hours for my script, they tell me it's ready when I call so I come and wait in the drive thru another hour for them to tell me it's not ready to come back in an hour!!!!! read more

I have been in this Walgreen's several times when I have been visiting friends in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This store is your basic Walgreen's. What I can tell you is that it didn't look any different then the Walgreen's stores that we have here in the San Francisco bay area. So my experience tells me that Walgreen's standardize on their store setups whether in California or Arkansas. This is really nice because when I was there it was very easy to find my way around the store. I definitely am a fan of Walgreen's in California, Arkansas or where ever else I might find one since my late husband Don E. V. was an star employee of Walgreen's for 20 years until his passing in December 2004. read more

I have used Walgreens for years and had no problems whatsoever here in the past few years we have come across win now they're closed all weekend instead of this Sunday and they still have an hour that no one's there I suggested since people work different hours and sometimes people can't get there on the weekends that maybe they were there at least a half a day they said no the one on Central is open 24 hours I said but how are we supposed to get our prescriptions from you guys if you're not here I also have a problem with them getting things ready and not telling me that they were closed on the weekend or getting things ready and then I tell them I will be there in a couple days to get it and they restock it before I can get there and then I have to go back again to go get it kind of time-consuming when I am a very busy person I moved all of my prescriptions to Walmart!! They are open till 10 o'clock at night every single day no taking off during the middle of the day they split their lunches so that there's someone there at all times very helpful and very knowledgeable about discounts and anything that can save you money would recommend going to Walmart instead of Walgreens read more

Decent Walgreens. From the pharmaceutical side, be prepared to wait longer than usual. We don't usually use this facility for prescriptions, but if you drop off in the afternoons it can take several hours to fill. Just be prepared for that. read more

Orders photos online through Walgreens iPhone app. Selected pickup in one hour and also received confirmation email stating photos would be ready by 9:30 PM. Decided to wait until the morning to pick them up. Stopped by at 9 and they were not ready. Photo department said no one would work on the order for another 30 minutes. I was not too happy and stated that I needed them as I was headed out of town. Store was entirely unhelpful and couldn't even transfer the order to a store in Little Rock. Told me I had to call the 800 number. Wouldn't even give me credit on my account. Needless to say, I left there disappointed and empty handed. Finally got photos printed in LR but 2 hours later and they felt bad for me and give me the photos half off. read more

I rarely have an issue, but Cheyanne (Cheyane, Shiann, however you spell it) in the pharmacy is unknowledgeable and rude. She is condescending and refuses to answer simple questions about when a prescription will be ready or when it can be refilled again. She even refused to give her name when I asked for it after she laughed at a question I asked her. I was told she was 'new', as an excuse for her behavior. read more
