Friendly small town service in chain drug store the pharmacist was happy to call my normal pharmacy to provide refill while we were in town and took time to explain process. Prescription would be ready later in the day and she would text us. So easy and friendly. We picked up inexpensive Halloween cards and popcorn. Check out was easy. They have section of wine and beer. Shelves were stocked neatly with seasonal items for fall and Halloween. Specials throughout the store per usual Walgreens. Store was clean and well organized and it was easy to find stuff. 3 aisles of greeting cards and good selection. I'll be back when in town. These people treat you right! read more

I hate to be *that girl* to leave a negative review, but this particular Walgreens location makes me want to pull my hair out. The only reason this is a 2 star review instead of a single star is because of the retail staff; they're always friendly and accommodating, greeting you the moment you walk through the door and chatting kindly as they check you out. The pharmacy staff, however, needs a serious course in customer service and dealing with the public. If my health plan didn't mandate that I use Walgreens, I would've changed pharmacies a long time ago. I've had multiple, MULTIPLE negative interactions with pharmacy staff, specifically pharmacy technicians, both in the capacity of patient and as a prescriber. When I have called in new prescriptions for patients, I've utilized the prescriber voicemail, which is great. But heaven forbid you need to speak directly with the poor overworked pharmacists, because you'll be waiting for quite some time. They obviously work incredibly hard to keep up. From a patient perspective, picking up my own scripts is an ordeal that is inevitably faaaarrrr more complicated than it should be. Despite having savings cards on file for all my pricey brand-name prescriptions, the pharmacy tech rudely announces the incorrect price each and every time; when I kindly point out that I have savings cards, I'm told that either 1. I'm wrong & there's no card on file (to which I pull out the card so they can yet again verify the info) or 2. They've already run the savings card price (which they haven't, as I know exactly how much my scripts cost). I'm a firm believer in respect, especially to those in service-type industries, but it's all I can do to be kind to the often incredibly rude techs who check me out at the pharmacy. I've had eyes rolled at me and I've been condescended multiple times; customer service is absolutely horrendous at this location. One instance upset me so much that I broke my cardinal rule (never identify yourself as a healthcare provider in public) and told the pharmacy technician that I was an NP, so she didn't have to demean me explaining how prescription savings cards work. If you need a quick birthday card, diet coke, or bag of gummy bears, this is your place. If you expect your pharmacy staff to provide acceptable customer service, run far away! read more

Full 5 stars I was in a hurry in need of some cough drops. I didn't want to go to Walmart because I wanted to get them fast. Once I walked in to the store I was greeted with a nice smile from the cashier. It didn't seem like a fake smile like some places. She seemed genuinely friendly and seemed to enjoy working there which always makes it nice. I headed to the cough and cold aisle where there was a large selection of cough drops to choose from. My wife wanted menthol and they had them. Was a great deal as well. The store was nicely organized everything was neat and clean. Going back up front of store to pay. The cashier was very friendly once again and everything was easy as expected with a quick visit for cough drops. read more

I came in with a prescription for my special needs daughter. When I went up to the counter the pharmacy tech told me the prescription I had wasn't legal. I told her that it's how we've always had them filled. After she spoke with the pharmacist he told her it was correct. She came back over and was so rude. Asked for my license and then threw it back across the counter when she was done. This is the second incident I've had with this chain and I'm done giving them my money. After they were unable to fill the prescription I drove across the street and CVS was more than helpful and filled it quickly. read more

This pharmacy is broken. Twice in 3 months the store has been unable to get my blood pressure medicine out on time and the pharmacy has been closed on the day that I absolutely needed it to remain alive. I have had to call and beg another Walgreens pharmacy to fill the prescription. Closing a pharmacy with no notice is very dangerous, imo, and there is very little going right here currently. read more

Normally I like shopping in this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Today I was extremely disappointed. My husband and I had appointments for our COVID boosters for the early evening. When we walked in , we were told the pharmacy closed early at 4:00. There was no attempt to reach us or to reschedule our appointments. We were told to come back tomorrow and they would work us in. What terrible customer service to not even have the decency to let us know that they would be closed at our scheduled time. Sound like socialized medicine has reached Greenfield. read more

She tried, the store manager tried and she did not give up until a person on live chat was able to override the price and get it to the reward card price. I would not suggest scheduling a Covid vaccination here. Our first appointment they ran 30 minutes behind. The second appointment was one hour behind. When we arrived there were multiple people waiting in the vaccination waiting area. Lights in the clinic were out. No one acknowledged our presence. 15 minutes into waiting, I got into line to see what was going on. After 25 total minutes after our arrival time I was informed by Dee that they were running 45 minutes behind. I asked if it was an additional 45 minutes, or 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment. Dee became VERY confrontational. I chose to leave and go to the Health department. We were in and out in ten minutes. Today, Dee called to follow up on an online submission I made cancelling our appointment. Again, she was very rude. Walgreens lost a customer over this interaction and I will be following up with corporate and store managers. If Walgreens cannot keep an appointment, at the very least they should call, email or yell out at least so you can wait in your car, at home or Reschedule. It is not possible to social distance in that area, and obviously the people waiting for shots are unvaccinated. Stay safe. Do not schedule your Covid vaccination here, go somewhere that follows CDC guidelines for social distancing. read more
