There is a very good reason this Walgreens has the lowest review. They are totally inept. I have done business with them for years, and I regret ever having done so. I have put up with so much of their incompetence that I should have stopped using them years ago. They have taken my loyalty granted. When a prescription needs to be refilled by a certain date, and it is sent in from my doctor a week in advance, instead of ensuring that they will have enough when it needs to be filled, they wait until the day it needs to be filled, then look to see if they have enough. I have waited many times a week without being able to get my medication, and they could care less. Not only that, but they lie and use the excuse that they have to have the insurance "billed first," whatever that means. i have foolishly used Walgreens as my pharmacy for years. I have always had insurance coverage. There's no excuse for this. It's not even a truthful reason. They know my insurance covers it all the time. It makes no sense, because for those without insurance, who pay all out-of-pocket, what excuse do they give them. Again, my insurance has always covered all medications, and never without a hitch. There's no reason I, or any other customer, should have to wait until the medication is billed prior to getting it ready. I have seldom been able to get any of my medication on time. I have waited many times at least a week before I can get it. It messes up my insides. They are very aloof to that. They could care less if the customer has to go without. and when they're out, they say that it will be in within the next few days. and it never is. That's why I question whether they even put in orders every day.. They are aloof as the patient's health. No apologies, no understanding; but, hey, that's just the way it is, attitude. Another one of their excuses is that, hey, this medication is hard to get. It might be hard to get, but that's poor planning, or no planning whatsoever. They just don't care.. I shall never, ever have any of my medication filled by this pharmacy again. They don't deserve one star; it has caused me more harm physically and mentally than anything that I can imagine. And their attitude is, we don't care, you need us we don't need you. And this attitude comes from the pharmacist, not their other employees. This is the type of behavior you would expect from a state run pharmacy such as in the Soviet Union. Why they don't understand that a customer can go someplace else, such as I have regretfully done business with them for years, is mind-boggling. They need to go out of business before they wreck too many other's health. read more

Incompetence. I don't feel safe with this pharmacy. My experience here has been a nightmare, not filling the right script, delays, meds sent to Tennessee, causing running out-of-meds panics, I've had enough. Current delay caused script to expire, so have to start over. Switching pharmacies. read more

This pharmacy location sucks. They're understaffed. Take forever to locate me in the system after I changed my name. I've been going in the last 6 months every month for the same script and they still can't seem to change my name properly in their computer. The cashiers are so rude and act flustered every time you're there. They make me call my doctor to send a refill every single time even tho I have multiple available refills which I should be able to fill myself directly over the phone or online. They also will see you waiting and just ignore you until they're ready to be bothered with your presence... read more

I called on Wednesday the 24th at 12:22 to speak with the pharmacy the woman who answered was rude and didn't offer any help. I spoke to my doctors office and they said to tell them it's on file because it was. She said the medication wasn't listed. I've been taking this medication for a year. I switched to this pharmacy after moving over I've gotten this medication multiple times here and I've had nothing but issues. I've had my diabetes prescription messed up, psych meds delayed because someone isn't willing to do the work their job takes I'm only saying this because I've talked to my doctors office and Walgreens is in the wrong. It's stressful as it is to have to take psych meds and to have someone be rude and dismiss you adds a whole different level of stress when your out and they won't do their job. Though I have not experienced bad service at this location. I am however quite concerned with Walgreens corporate use of price gouging for generic medications. For example A prescription that would normally cost $12.99 at a regular pharmacy cost $65 at Walgreens. Walgreens will no longer be getting my business as a customer. Furthermore I will continue to steer traffic away from this corporate chain. As it is clear the only thing that they are interested in helping is themselves. Update : after having been contacted by the district manager. I was only given rhetoric. And corporate style run around to no avail. If you are in between insurance companies I highly suggest filling prescriptions elsewhere. read more

I have gotten off the telephone with or left this Walgreens pharmacy with my blood boiling inside of my veins I was so angry on numerous occasions. I live very close nearby and fill a prescription on a monthly basis. Every single month this particular Walgreens pharmacy location seems to either mess up my prescription or insurance information, or they can't find my prescription (after I've been notified by Walgreen's automated texting service that it is complete and waiting for me). In the past few months, I have ironically always been met at the counter by the same young girl who seemed to just not understand anything about (truly) anything related to her career choice. I was notified during the last error episode that she no longer works with Walgreens. So I thought the everlasting issues would be corrected in the future and would no longer persist. I was wrong. After being notified by my healthcare provider today that he sent the pharmacy an electronic Rx for me to pick up, I called the pharmacy to confirm that it was there and to confirm when I could pick it up. My two brief questions were met with angst and temperament by the pharmacist on duty named Tara. I patiently asked the woman who I was speaking with if it was necessary for her to raise her voice at me. She sternly shouted her repeated response to me as if she was a robot. I then proceeded to explain to the woman being paid to represent a national brand that consumers are frequently urged to call their local pharmacist with questions about their prescriptions, and that I was simply calling to ask those questions and I had hoped those questions would be met with a friendly pharmacist on the other end of the line. I was the consumer with questions. She was the pharmacist with knowledge, and there was no reason for her to speak to me with such lack of patience. I was seeking simple information that required non-emotional responses. I'm done. I'll stay away from Walgreens for as long as I live. I'm so sick of being treated like vermin every time I fill a prescription. Customer service amongst this location's pharmacy staff is a last resort goal. The photo department sucks. My girlfriend makes a custom calender every year for my parents, and we get it printed at Walgreens. Well, this year they took issue with some "content" that may have been taken off the internet (backgrounds and stupid little things) and wouldn't print it. We tried three times and they kept coming up with reasons they couldn't print it. Seriously????? The management at this location is stupid. I guess they don't want our money. We just told them that we would print the "suspect" pages blank and next year do it our f*****g selves. This service has turned into a joke. read more

Always have EXCELLENT service at Walgreens in Byron Center (close to my home). I work off Leonard Street - never again will I transfer a RX from Byron Center to pickup at Leonard.. WHAT A CLUSTER.. and never again will I walk into this location for anything. read more
