Today for instance, I let them know I was on my way and I still waited for 25 minutes and there were only two cars there when I got there. Last time I came I waited 45 minutes and they forgot part of my order so I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to go get the rest of my order. That order only had four items I could have definitely shopped it faster. The staff is always super friendly, but I don't know what has happened recently to make the wait times so much longer than they used to be.

I tell the pharmacist that I have a new prescription with refills and an old prescription with refills (both of the same drugs), and could she transfer both? Her immediate reply is that different states have different expiration dates. What the fuck? So I ask her to just try, because that just doesn't make any sense. You can't just change an expiration date because the state is different. I tell her I'm in no rush and will back tomorrow. Day two: I come to pick my prescriptions up. They are ready, and I give them my insurance card. (FYI, my prescription with the older expiration dates were never mentioned, so I'm assuming they didn't even try to transfer those ovee. I decide to not say anything and just lose out on those refills.) The pharmacist has to call my insurance in order to try to get them covered. I see that they are busy, so I tell them I'm in no rush, I'll come get them all tomorrow. Day three: I decide to go through the drive thru this time. Lane 1 had a car, so I pull up to lane 2, only to be told that "lane 2 is out of service." Why was there not a car blocking lane 2 then? Or a sign to tell people not to pull up to lane 2? Since the parking lot is one way, I have to drive onto the street and back around. I go inside this time. Only 2 of my three prescriptions are ready. I had told them to transfer 3. Where the other one is, I'm not sure. Also, one of them is not covered under insurance. This is day 3, I've been patient as all hell, and was not given the courtesy of being called to tell me why only 2 were filled and that one of them wasnt covered by insurance. I walked out with nothing and will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

As someone with an unasked for gastrointestinal disability, almost had an accident as I waited for an employee watching videos on their phone. I have never been in a grocery store where they only had one stall. Also, please actually hold people accountable to bringing in more than they're supposed to and bags of cans. If it actually isn't that big of a deal, then take down the signs because the rest of us who actually tried to follow things that are posted. Don't really know what to do when other people blatantly violate it. you shouldn't cash them out that's the whole point of you putting up the sign.

I was directed to a grocery line cash register with about six people in it where I would have to buy 20 stamps, 20 mind you. Upon seeing that, I said that I might as well go the post office to the woman. Then and only then the woman who said, go to the grocery checkout line, sez I can sell you one stamp! And walks off after handing me stamp. I gave a dollar to a girl standing there with a cash drawer a buck, and said keep the change, give it to the woman who i made mad. Geez. Not a good visit here, this is why I do not grocery shop here anymore.

My visits here have been good with no strongly negative or positive experience so a three star rating is fitting. They are a giant chain and I suspect often pharmacy wise have issues. Have had decent enough experiences getting a flu shot here in the past. Prices on most things likely won't be the cheapest you can find. It's not far from us though and sometimes our best option for a quick thing or two. Store is typically clean and staff are friendly enough but occasionally you will come during a rush and checking out may take some time. If I were to pick from this and the other very similar nationwide chain in Westbrook I would pick here. Significantly better parking situation and a cleaner store. A self checkout could be beneficial at this location. Overall it is a middle of the road location.

There is a point in life where it's important to understand the layout of your local grocery store. That's why it's such a big deal when stores reorganize! Hint Whole Foods, hint Costco. Important things to know about the Standish Hannaford, the main roads in the plaza are one ways, the Clynk bin is always full and the machine rarely has Clynk sticker tape in it. There is a TD Bank ATM inside and the store is currently undergoing a renovation. Exciting but something tells me it will be rearranged. The deli sells the black pepper Cooper Sharp white American cheese. Highly recommend it.
