The Walgreens on Roosevelt Road (Glen Ellyn)has poor customer service in the Pharmacy Department. Takes too long to fill a prescription and when they say they will contact you, they do not. Dropped off a script at 12:30 pm and told it would take 45min. And they would call when it was ready. I called them at 3:30 pm and they said it would take 20 minutes. Still not ready. One script. I wish my insurance co. Would let me go back to CVS. Faster and better service. read more

0 starts if I could. Is absolutely the worst experience at their pharmacy EVERY SINGLE TIME. Never have the prescriptions ready on time and if you go in person to refill their "fastest" turn around is 5 hrs.. what?! What pharmacy does that. It's time for me to switch to CVS read more

I HATE this walgreens pharmacy. Never ready on time, especially when coming from the doctor. Our doctor confirmed they should have it ready within 20-30 minutes, but they never do. I'm sitting at home today while my daughter is upstairs with strep and no medicine - i'm searching for other pharmacies on today of all days, because I cannot handle any more errors and inefficiencies any more! read more

Left this pharmacy it's a three ring circus. Incompetent, 20 different answers from 20 different people.

They now have "fresh" sandwiches, sushi and fruit bowels. I don't know who would buy and eat one but they have them now.

I have never liked this Walgreens pharmacy. I think the staff is rude and impersonal so I take my business elsewhere but my husband likes the drive-thru so he uses this pharmacy. Today I had to have a prescription filled for my husband who just had surgery. I walked the Rx in and was told that the wait would be one hour. I had no choice so I said okay, text me when it's ready. After one hour and 20 minutes I went to the counter and asked the same tech if the Rx was ready. She said it would be another 20 minutes. I informed her that I had already waited 80 minutes. She said that the pharmacist went to lunch and he was the only one that could fill it. I told her she should have mentioned that when I originally questioned the one hour wait. She said he wasn't at lunch at the time. So, on a Saturday afternoon, at noon, the pharmacist takes lunch when they know that people are waiting a long time in the store for a Rx. I know that this is a very busy pharmacy but it is obviously poorly managed. I took my Rx back, went to Osco and was in and out in 30 minutes! Of course, the tech never even apologized for the inconvenience! I will NEVER have an Rx filled at this Walgreens pharmacy. They certainly don't need my business and I don't need their attitude. read more

The pharmacist techs went above and beyond for me when I needed a special dosage of xeralto for a recent DVT in my right leg. They were able to get me a special dose not usually available to the public the next day which really impressed me as other pharmacies told me they wouldn't be able to help or had any knowledge of the special dose. Thank you for your diligent work on my behalf! read more

I was leary at first but the Advocate Clinic with Kim, is just fabulous! She is caring and kind and thorough! I'll keep going there!

I have been a regular customer of Walgreens. This is the worst location. The staff are awful, rude, and slow. The pharmacists are slow, but the checkout staff are worst. I had bad experience on several occasions, but yesterday's encounter was totally unnecessary. I bought 3 pack of 12 cans of Coke, put them on the basket, and waited in line to check out. There were 4 check out stations. Only one was opened - specifically the second one. I was the very next one waiting for the checker to finish checking his current customer.. As the basket was heavy and I did not want to put it on the floor for other to trip and fall, I went to the counter, put it one, and waited. The checker began yelling and ordering me to go back to the line. I told him that I was in the line and was the very next one to check out. He said that it did not matter. The store's rule was that I had to go back to wait until I was called. I explained to him that it was heavy and I did not want to put on the floor for other to get injured and put in on the counter. He continued to order me to go back. Then he called a lady to check me out at the first checkout. I told the lady that he was rude, and he continued to yell back. The lady apologized. I told him that I would complain, and he said that go ahead. He even offered to ask the manager to come. As I have my wife waiting in the car when it was 9 F, I decided to go and would file a complain. I have shopped at Walgreen for many years, and this was one of the few occasions that I had encountered such an inconsiderate and rude employee. His name that he provided was Augustus Pye. Obviously, he did not care about the services. read more

Came to this pharmacy after oral surgery needing a pain med immediately. They claimed to be "too busy" to get me the meds before 2 hours. What kind of pharmacy is this?! read more

I've usually had good experiences with this Walgreens. Pretty much all of their employees (whether at the pharmacy, store, photo department, makeup department etc.) have always been really nice and helpful and being a 24-hr-open pharmacy also makes it a plus. But lately I have been really off-put by some of their employees (well just one actually) in the pharmacy. There's a female pharm-tech (don't know her name, I just know that she is short, has long black hair, wears a deep plum lip stick, and appears to be Latino) who came back to work at this location, because I honestly didn't see her here for almost a year, and she has the most offhand demeanor. very rude. She has been rude to others in my family who have come in as well. she has smirked, rolled her eyes, and even yelled at my mother. I'm not sure why she is like this, nor am I quite sure why Walgreens hasn't fired her yet. The only possible reason could be that awhile back we had to make a report of an incident involving a prescription that was not filled correctly by the pharmacy and I happen to remember that she was the employee on shift that day who took my prescription at the drive-through window....so maybe she got disciplined for that and now wants to act hostile to anyone from my family who comes in to have a prescription filled. I might just start going to CVS as long as she's still employed here. It seriously amazes me that people like this can still be employed. read more
