What really put things into perspective for me was a trip I took to a farmers market in Orlando. I filled an entire Yeti cooler--meat, eggs, dairy, fruits, vegetables--for under $100. At this point, it honestly feels like it would be cheaper to drive over two hours, stock up, and come back than it is to shop five minutes down the street at Publix. The convenience is there, sure--but the value just isn't anymore.
