However, one day, these healthy products next to the pharmacy vanished, replaced by chemical, cancer-causing medications that keep the population sick. We want grass-fed, natural foods like Siete, Base & eziquiel bread they carry. We were thrilled by their health-conscious initiative and shocked by this backward change, and we wondered whether these companies paid Publix more money to replace the good products. Is our health being sold out to the highest bidder? We need more companies supporting our health, not destroying it. The pharmacy staff is also short-tempered. I've been a loyal Publix customer since the 1980s, but I'm confused why they're not on our side. Maybe Whole Foods & Trader Joe's can come in for a chance at us staying healthier.

And along with new doctor's, we needed a new pharmacist to fill medical prescriptions. Referred by a friend to Perkins Pharmacy on State Road 60, Edwin quickly became that pharmacist. Perkins is a small, family owned pharmacy located just east of 43rd Avenue on the south side of 20th Street. Polite and friendly staff - they are always helpful. On the rare occasion that an insurance co-pay is more expensive than making a simple out-of-pocket cash payment, staff are quick to advise. And before leaving the store, Perkins ensures that you have no questions about your prescription. Plenty of parking, a clean store, and many of the items you would find in a big-box chain, Perkins Pharmacy provides a more personable experience. They even called me on my birthday to wish me a "Happy Birthday." Thanks for the reminder. It looks like we found our Good Neighbor Pharmacy in Perkins Pharmacy. William E. I have to wait 4 more days and now next doctors visit, because said prescription can only be issued monthly has to wait another 4 days and i run out of medication each time they prolong it. Pharmacists SHOULD NEVER wait until they're OUT or LOW of a medication to order more. It happens every single month, so wait 4 days one month, then 4 more the next month and it all adds up. If you see you're running low or know there is a prescription needing to be filled 4 days prior, should be common practice to make it a priority to have it ready.

The owner said he could order it for me and have it the next day. I told him I couldn't wait that long. Since 1995 I have never had a problem filling insulin. If I put that inulin in my pump, I would have been in the hospital. It doesn't work for type 1 Diabetics. Terrible unethical advise. I refilled my script at another pharmacy(perkins), naturally. When I went to pick up another medication at Osceola, Kazzi(not sure if he is the owner or pharmacist or both) told me that he will no longer fill my medication. He said I was "pharmacy shopping". Is that even a thing? Is it a law you cannot use two pharmacies? No, it is not. I asked another pharmacy. They laughed. I called Osceola pharmacy back to see where I went wrong. To get an explanation. I explained that I NEEDED my insulin that day. What did he want me to do? How could I do this differently? He spoke over me the whole time I was talking. Saying, I will not fill anymore medication for you. No explanation. If you go here, get everything in writing! Ask them if they will fire you as a client for filling scripts they don't have at another pharmacy. This is just a money hungry place. No care for anyones health or needs. rude rude rude.
