It is incredibly frustrating to deal with a broken system, especially when it involves your health…read moreand your time... I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the systemic operational failures at Walgreens Pharmacy. For over a year, I have consistently faced significant obstacles in receiving my medications--issues that stem from corporate-level logistics and software failures rather than the local staff. I want to specifically note that the staff members at my local pharmacy, including Pharmacist Emma and Assistant Sarah, are consistently professional and kind. My grievance is not with them; it is with a corporate structure that sets both employees and customers up for failure. Key Issues: * Inaccurate Automated Communications: I frequently receive text notifications stating a prescription is ready or being filled, only to arrive and be told it has been "erased" from the active queue or is "hanging out in a box." This indicates a massive disconnect between your digital systems and actual inventory. * The Walgreens App: The prescription history and logging feature is consistently unreliable. Important prescriptions are no longer being logged properly, making it impossible for a patient to track their own medical needs. * Backorder Mismanagement: Today, after waiting in a long line, I was informed my prescription is on backorder with no available date. It is unacceptable that Walgreens does not use its automated text or call system to notify patients of backorders before they travel to the pharmacy and wait in line. * Burden on Staff and Patients: Forcing sick, elderly, or disabled customers to wait in long lines or drive-thru lanes just to receive bad news that could have been sent via text is a failure of basic service. Furthermore, it is unfair to place the burden of these corporate logistics failures on your frontline staff to communicate in person. Required Actions: 1. System Update: Upgrade your notification protocols so that patients are immediately alerted via the app or text when a medication is on backorder. 2. Inventory Management: Increase the stocking quantities for frequently used medications to prevent these chronic shortages. 3. Digital Fix: Address the bugs in the Walgreens app to ensure prescription histories are accurate and transparent. Walgreens' lack of a clear, accessible written complaint channel is telling, but hope this matter is escalated to a regional or corporate manager who can address these logistical gaps. Customers deserve a reliable way to receive their medicine, and your staff deserves a system that actually works.

Other CVS stores I tired have been okay but the pharmacy at Taylor Creek Commons store closest to my home is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life. They go out of their way to ignore you and/or flat out refuse to help you. Needless to say the only way to get them to do their job is to call corporate customer relations. Corporate will contact this joke of a pharmacy and force them to handle whatever the issue is you need help with. I wanted to share that tip for anyone using this circus pharmacy. I personally am switching to the pharmacy on US 1 and Virginia in Ft Pierce.

Worst CVS anywhere! They will not answer the phone at all. You can leave a message for a call back…read morein about an hour. My neighbor is 85 years old & does not drive. She called to see if her prescriptions were ready, never got through to any person nor got a call back. I tried to call for her, so I didn't waste time driving there & finding out that the prescriptions weren't ready. Same deal. You cannot get a person on the phone. This is ridiculous and unacceptable for a pharmacy. This is why I switched all of my prescriptions to the Publix pharmacy. I can always get a pharmacist or a tech on the phone. My neighbor is switching her prescriptions to Publix also. It does no good to complain to the management because they just say they are too busy to answer a phone. They would rather inconvenience their customers rather than have one person to pick up the phone and answer a simple question. Most of my prescriptions at Publix are also cheaper than at CVS. CVS is just too big.!

The new store manager,Brandy, and current pharmacy manager take no responsibility for problems in…read morethe pharmacy. I was told a medication I take would be in by Friday as it was out of stock on a Wednesday. I let them know I had enough sample to last me until Saturday. I picked up other prescriptions on Friday to be told it would be in later that day. Saturday late morning I received electronic notification and automated phone call it was delayed and out of stock. I called and was told by a technician they were out and she had no idea when it would be available. She did not offer to call other pharmacies or to get a date. If they had told me the day before I could have gotten another sample from my doctor. I asked to speak to the pharmacist, who only blamed issues on corporate and said this happens at every Walgreens. I became more upset because as usual he takes no responsibility nor offers to discuss it with management so that it doesn't happen to other customers. He reminds me of his level of education and how smart he is and tells me if I'm so unhappy I should try out other pharmacies. The store manager Brandy denied he suggested I go elsewhere, continued to make more excuses and kept explaining well this happens because of this and because of that (making excuses)..instead of saying -this shouldn't happen, this is how I will problem-solve with cooperate or my district manager to help insure it doesn't happen to someone else. The call wait time improved, but the lack of customer/patient friendly response is unacceptable. I have NEVER had an issue with any other pharmacist who works there. The pharmacy manager seems disgruntled by his job and company and it comes across clearly in his lack of customer service at times. The previous store managers showed much better response, made no excuses for any issues including the pharmacy manager, and explained how they would work to improve issues. I hope this is not reflective of all Walgreens like the pharmacy manager suggests. Meanwhile I called the next closest Walgreens in town, the pharmacy manager answered the phone instead of immediately placing the call on hold, and filled it for me in less than 3 min. How hard would it have been for them to just send me there and send the Rx over, take responsibility, and suggest a solution for this not happening in the future instead of making excuses and saying this is just how it is at Walgreens?? Update: I requested a call from the district manager over a week ago and still haven't received one.

I am APPALLED at the way the woman spoke to me on the phone; she asked rudely who is this was when I asked if they had any on hand? Keep in mind, this is a controlled substance and this was the third walgreens I called to see if they had them. Anyway, I told her I was filling a prescription for my dad; oh, also I find it hilarious that you can get other pain meds and controlled substances like CANDY. FUCKING CANDY. I have personally never taken a controlled pain pill but fuck the insurance companies who do not honor paying for suboxone and we have to get coupons so we are not paying $500 a WEEK. Oh, and when I told the pharmacist I did not like the way I was talked to on the phone, he replied smugly with, that's fine! WTF? Fuck you gray haired man. Seriously. You were not helpful and you need a people skills tune up. I came in with an attitude because of the way I was spoke to--FUCK THIS DARK walgreens. I wish I could give it no stars because I NEVER have a pleasant experience at that location.
