I told the Aesthetician that I had bad reactions to Botox, but she dismissed my remarks saying that they. my doctor (migraine protocol and muscular Botox for Myofascitis by a Neurologist) "They just did it in the wrong place" and disregarded that I did not want Botox, just filler along the lip line for wrinkles above the lip and maybe the lines next to my mouth. As she was doing shots in my face, she says as the needle is in my face, "just a little toxin". I ended up looking like Quasimodo or a monster (see first 3 pictures below). It cost me $1600+ for procedures I did NOT ask for and I DID NOT want and turned me into something grotesque. They refused to reimburse me for procedures later that I did not want nor ask for. I did not take pictures for over a week or more of myself because I could not look at myself. I also could not talk right, pronounce hard consonants, eat or drink because the water would just pour out of my mouth because I could not move my lips and my jaw, and I could not move my mouth or jaw to eat, drink or speak (= Botox). So, 3 of the pictures are the pictures from over a week or so after (less than the worst of it). I was told after the injections to come back in 2 weeks for them to finish. What! More money and work after over $1600? The last 3 pictures are from a week before the injections and at the time of a Zoom job interview and before they started to change my face into the disfigurement it became (...See the before and after pictures below). After 2 months I still find myself tripping over consonants and have to repeat them with very thoughtful pronunciations. I would not recommend Skin Smart.

I can't deny that quite a few people had negative experiences. My experience was one of the best health care experiences I've had in a long while. Scheduling through the online scheduling interface was easy, and I got an appointment within a few days. The 'new patient' onboarding was done via a table device, not a clip board. The health care professional were polite, thoughtful, caring, competent. The reception staff was efficient and polite. Really, I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

She does an amazing job with the waxing. She's always happy to chat, and it's wonderful to get great service (she's a self-described perfectionist, which is... exactly what you want from someone doing facial waxing) from someone you have a wonderful rapport with. There are lots of products to buy there if you want them, and I appreciate that no one has ever done a hard sell to me. They even carry some clothing, jewelry, and house products. I feel the prices are competitive. The reason they get 3 stars is because you are under surveillance the whole time you're there. They try to hide it, but you know they are watching. They have very poor customer service as well, when you need help finding a product. They have a great (enormous) wig selection! But.....you are only allowed to try on 3 wigs, and you must buy a wig cap for $1. I can understand to a point because people do play and try on wigs for no reason and don't plan on buying anything. If you are a serious buyer and plan on buying a few, this is a problem. I do understand shoplifting is a real problem as well, but very offensive to a person like me.
