I was an employee here all I can say is the management does not talk to you or discuss issues…read more Holidays they work the new employees so they don't have to pay extra money for holiday pay. When I asked management about it I was immediately fired. I was a hard worker hmwho worked 9 hours at times with 1-15 minute break for the whole day Walgreens is a 27 billion dollar a year store and can't do right by their employees. Unfortunately it was Christmas time and I made sure all employees were given a Christmas present and I was just a worker ... yes including the store manager that fired me Sad but true Then after Christmas I was fired ...... I guess no matter how you connect with people and feel their a part of your circle I stood up for the two others that got stuck working the holidays for straight time not one stood up for me when I got fired. I guess my heart was different. My best advice only work for Walgreens if you want a short term job. I have documentation of Walgreens The manager on E Saginaw shouldn't have been in a management position he never said anything about job performances They watch shoplifters in the store and laughs at it when they're wheeling out baskets full of stuff. But yet can fire a hard worker I never even took a bathroom break but some were allowed to go sit in bathroom 45 minutes and then take Lunch and break Walgreens is pretty darn amazing in reality. Thank you Zac Mercier for the time you allowed me to work for this company before I was wrongfully fired

This is the most inefficient pharmacy Ive ever dealt with. 90% of the time I have to go at least…read more2-4 days without my meds, which is an EXTREMELY painful & horrible experience every month. I will wait on hold for 30 - 60 minutes to talk to a pharmacist, & when it finally tells me that its almost my turn to be helped, it randomly hangs up on me, which makes me have to call back & restart my wait from the very back of the line which takes another 30 - 60 minutes, & thats risking the chance that they may randomly end my call after waiting for awhile again. Who has 2+ hours to deal with a pharmacy everytime they need to fill a prescription? Then sometimes you wait for an hour just for someone to pick up & say "please hold", as if I hadnt already been on hold for an hour. Then sometimes you wait on hold for an hour just to speak to the lowest level person at the pharmacy, then that person says "oh, you need to talk to someone about a prescription? Ok, hold on I'll transfer you to our pharmacist", then you have to start at the end of the line again & wait another 30 - 60 mins just to talk to someone who can actually do anything. Its ridiculous, why do I have to wait so long to talk to the first person just to be put on hold again to talk to the person who can actually help me? Why do they even employ people who just make you wait an hour to tell you they have to transfer you to the real pharmacist? Not once has that first person to answer been able to help with ANYTHING, every single time they say "oh I cant help with that, let me transfer you...". That means they literally hire people who have no power to do anything for you but try to keep you from taking up the real pharmacists time. That means they dont actually care about getting you the medication you need to get through the month, they dont care about your business, the workers at the pharmacy get paid the same whether they help you or not. If you have a full time job you dont have time for this tomfoolery, yet a lot of people like me depend on our medications to make it to work & to make it through the work day. The times this pharmacy has come through for me on time have been about 5% of the time, & thats being generous. I call them days ahead of my meds being due to try to jumpstart the process, but it doesnt matter at all. I'll have 3 to 4 different medications prescribed at the same time & then due for being filled at the same time, but for some reason they will fill one but not the others. So it literally takes me 4-6 days past me being out of my meds for them to get all my meds to me. If I have 4 meds due at once, they will fill the least important one first despite my detailed description of what I need most & when, then tell me to come back in 2 hours to get the rest, so I move my schedule around so Im able to swing back around to walgreens again to get my meds, so I show up 3-4 hours later cuz I know they are always late, just to find out that they havent even started filling my other meds. This isnt a one time experience, this happens every time. If i have 3 or 4 meds due on one day, even if I alert them ahead of time, Im lucky to be able to pick up one med that day. When I have 3 - 4 meds due on the same day, it literally takes at least 3 - 4 days to pick them all up. With how necessary some of my meds are for me to survive, this pharmacy has been putting me through hell every month by not filling my meds on time & forcing me to try to sleep & function without them, which is impossible for me. Ive heard many bad things from other customers about this specific pharmacy, & Ive heard other Walgreens arent as bad, but honestly I miss Rite Aid. It never took more than 5-10 minutes to get ahold of them, they filled my meds on time, & they never wasted my time by making me wait on hold for hours at a time, & anytime they told me my meds would be ready at a certain time, they were on point. This Walgreens is ALWAYS wrong 100% of the time when they give me a time my meds will be done by. This Walgreens will say "ok, we wont have that ready until 2:30", then I show up an hour or two after they said my meds would be done & they are never done. They always tell me to come back the next day, even though I need the med that day & I already wasted hours on the phone & another hour or two driving to the pharmacy & waiting in line just to be told they dont have time to fill my meds that day, even when my meds were supposed to be filled days ago. If you use walgreens, DONT use this one. Id recommend a different pharmacy company altogether. These people dont care if you end up homeless due to their negligence. They take up your whole day just to tell you to come back the next day. They dont care, their jobs are secure, so they dont give a crap if you lose your job due to their inefficient incompetent BS.

Do not ever send anything to this pharmacy. I came here yesterday to get my meds after they had the…read morerequest from the Dr for over a half hour. I was told it had just been received, to come back later. Okay. No problem! Had my boyfriend stop there 7 hours later and it STILL was not done. To top that off, they only had 2 days worth. Flash forward to today, sitting at the pharmacy now and they STILL have not finished the prescription. 24 hours later. So now I'm waiting for them to fill the rest of my medicine. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of time. Will not have anything sent to this pharmacy again.

Whatever you do, don't trust their automated system for prescription refills. I called in mine…read morebefore business hours and was told in a message that I was on my last refill, but they'd contact my doctor. I thought, "Oh, what a convenient service. I won't have to call my doctor now." The system ended the call by asking for a phone number in case the pharmacist needed to get ahold of me if there was a problem. I wasn't able to get in that day to get the prescription, but I went the next evening and was told they hadn't been able to refill it because my doctor hadn't responded to their fax. When I asked why no one had called my number like the message said they would, the pharmacist said the system automatically sends a fax if you do it over the phone and don't talk to them directly. But the system doesn't notify them in any way. So the only way they know about it is if the doc rejects or approves the fax. If they don't do anything, then apparently no one knows about it until the customer comes in to get their order?? How does this make sense? The manager informed me that their system recently changed and has been screwing up for people left and right. Just another example of corporate making a BAD decision and leaving their employees to take the fall. Of course it was after hours, so there was nothing I could do at this point but go to an urgent care and pay a copay to get a prescription I needed for that night. And you'd better believe I sent it to a different pharmacy. I will NEVER trust Rite-Aid again.
