Just got a facial here and was very disappointed. The facial consisted of exfoliating, derma-planing, and a mask. That's it. When I was being Dermaplaned, she cut my face and I ended up walking out of this medi spa with a bloody cut chin and mask all over my hair and face. It was very unprofessional. I was really looking forward to a nice facial but was extremely disappointed because I wasted my time and money. I have now been home for 20 minutes and my face is still bleeding. The team at Aurora Medi Spa provides exceptional customer service and treats their clientele like family. The whole experience was very easy and they made you feel at home and very comfortable. The facility itself is extremely clean and in fact, is quite beautiful. You feel like you're in a luxury spa and secret oasis in the middle of an office building. They explain all the details as to whatever procedure you're getting and are extremely helpful in answering any questions along the way. I would highly recommend this spa. read more

I thought this place was fantastic. I bought a Groupon for my mom and one for myself for a signature facial with Heather. My mom and I both mentioned we would give 5 stars (so does that make 10 stars?) for: Facility- appeared new, very clean, professional and 'spa like'. Staff- all extremely nice and welcoming Heather- very nice, extremely professional. And gave a great and relaxing facial. She listened to our skin concerns and tailored the facial and recommendations to our needs. She wasn't a product pusher, which seems to be a rare find these days. Facial- r.e.l.a.x.i.n.g. You enter the room and are given the choice of a warm or cool bed. Then, you step into a strapless robe of sorts (remove top and bra, or come equipped with a strapless bra if that is more comfortable. Option to remove pants, but you'll keep your underwear on). Once ready, you hop into the warm bed and begin your facial. The facial was part facial, part massage and lasted a full hour- something that surprised me given I came in with a deal voucher. I didn't expect the quality service and attention I received! Note- this place is a true med spa and does not accept tips, another rare find these days! Definitely recommend- I purchased another facial for my mom on the way out! read more

The office is very nice and clean. Melissa is a very charming aesthetician who tries her best to keep you comfortable during your waxing. I got a groupon for their Brazilian waxing and tried this place. I am not satisfied with my first time waxing here because it did not completely take out all the unwanted hairs. Like seriously I was expecting it to be smooth like when I got Brazilian sugaring (sugar waxing) done in CA. It took longer too and hurt more than sugaring but I suppose it depends from person to person and how often you do it. It was odd to me that she said my area looks nice and smooth now but when I checked it there were a lot of hairs still that needed to be removed by waxing and plucking. Since I was in too much pain already, I decided to get the hell out since I got work after my appointment. Fyi, sugaring took most if not all of the unwanted hairs and it made that area nice and smooth. It didn't take too much "stripping" action and my "Sugar" mama pressed down on the area she stripped without asking me (in fact she informed me) so there is less pain. That's why I like it and was expecting the same of their Brazilian waxing. As this was my first time getting waxed traditionally, I was not impressed by their methods and hope they learn about sugaring soon. The upside I did not react so much to the paste so there are no pimples so far. All in all I recommend you try another place for waxing or buy their groupon for Brazilian waxing at your own discretion. read more

I am not pleased with the service. The package price they give you is a big scamp. The manger is not a skin specialist, but the owner of Aurora MEDI APA with her husband. She gives you a dermatologist consulting to sell her product. She sold me a package and told me that she gives me free hydra facial, but it was included in the price. Juvedem was injected not where I was advice. It is very low quality. The Manager told me that I will see the dermatologist, but when I went to the appointment I saw Hand surgeon; who gives me the treatment? After paying a lot of money I am not happy with the result. I went back the next day and complain, the manager told to wait a few weeks and you will the result. I went after a month they don't care, and very rude. Please stay away from this place, or check the price before you do anything; and make sure to see a dermatologist, not hand surgeon. read more

Shannon Jones seems like a great laser specialist with great customer service and knowledge. I would have given this Clinic a five-star but Hala, who gives pricing thought I was a shopper and hung up on me.  When I called back she said I was asking too many questions and taking up too much of their time. 10 minutes is too much of your time??? I'm not going to close my eyes and just pick a clinic without an educated decision; and I'm not going to go to a clinic who is rude! This is how I decide if I should even schedule a consult in the first place! Asking for general pricing or a rough estimate and why I can't pay for one treatment as opposed to having to pay for a package, and if I will have the same tech for each visit is too many questions? It is my body I would like to know what you're doing with it! Also I can't ask for the plastic surgeons name, really? Never heard of such a thing! Then you have the nerve to tell me I can go online to find that out. If I can't have a decent conversation with someone, why would I want to make an appointment with them? You are representing Aurora Medi Spa! I had a really bad experience years ago with laser hair removal with third-degree burns. I literally have Laser Hair Removal PTSD. So if my questions threaten you, Hala, and you can't give me your name the first time I ask, you hang up on me, and when I call back you say I'm asking too many questions and you question if I am a shopper...  I guess I won't be going to Aurora Medi Spa Clinic until they replace Hala with someone more confident, courteous, and knowledgeable.  Which is too bad because out of the three clinics I called I really liked this one after I spoke to Shannon; hated it after I spoke to Hala. read more

I can't say good enough things about aurora Medi spa! They are some of the nicest most helpful people. I have been going to them for almost a year. I have been getting regular hydra facials about once a month and they are one of my favorite treatments to get . I have also done the chemical peel (4times) it has helped with my acne tremendously. Jenelle is the sweetest, most personable esthetician ! She always goes above and beyond to make sure my needs and wants are met . She is very professional and detail oriented. So I specifically made a Yelp account for this experience. I bought a Brazilian wax off Groupon... horrible. Melissa, the esthetician, was very polite and friendly, and the facility was nice and well kept. That is where my pleasantries ended. For starters, a 'cold wax' was used (I was unfamiliar with this) but basically the wax cools on your skin and is thick enough to pull off instead of using the wax paper. Sounds good in theory but parts were left on my skin after she was finished, hurt more than a normal sugar wax, and I didn't like it. I asked that she use the other (hot) wax but I could tell that she was uncomfortable with it so I let her continue with the cold wax. It took almost 2 hours (1 hour longer than I am normally done). When she was done, there were hairs left and I was not even completely smooth. To top things off, she said that her boss (the owner of the building) told her that a Brazilian wax only 'covered the top' part and for her to get my labia, she would have to charge me an extra $30 over the price of my Groupon. I was so annoyed that I didn't even care. Melissa was nice enough to do that part out of courtesy anyway... But still didn't even get all the hairs. I paid for a Brazilian wax and had to come home and do my OWN maintenance. I will never be visiting there again. read more
