It's been 8 years since 4 members of my family ( different households ) changed from CVS to this Walgreens due to pharmacy long waits , lack of professionalism, reps did not understand English .. , etc Now We are going back to try CVS again ..this pharmacy no longer answers your phone calls " just the machine ...leaves you hanging on "waiting " for a rep for over 20 minutes then it says " you have to call back " hangs up with you . Trying to call the pharmacy is a nightmare. The first person that responds is like an operator and they're usually nice. But then you get transferred and sit on hold for at least 10 minutes while listening to the hold music. You also get teased intermittently with the phone ringing sound which gives you hope that they're going to pick up, but nope it just goes back to the hold music. If you're lucky you'll speak to a technician, if not you'll get a message that says there is a problem and you have to call back later. The drive through is not a place you want to be. There are 9 cares in line. The one at the window has been there for 25 minutes. You would think they would ask the customer to go around or come into the store no, they don't. Not only that they have two lanes but one has been close for six months. I called numerous times the night before, only to be placed on hold by the automated answering service. When I called again in the morning, the phone just rang and rang. Terrible service. Delays on prescription. I did go about an hour after the time promised. Make the line to pick up my prescription and after waiting in the line for 40 minutes they said the prescription is not ready. They have promised that the prescription was going to be ready in two hours. I went back home and two hours later made the stupid drive through line for about an hour ( 10 people in the line standing inside the store) This is customer losing strategy I believe they do not have the ability to provide neither customer service nor prescription medication. read more

When the Walgreens in my neighborhood didn't have the medications I needed, they linked me with This Walgreens. The pharmacy technician that helped me was very helpful and patient. She tried to run my insurance twice when it appeared that the insurance wouldn't cover the medicine(saline for nebulizer.) After verifying the second time, she gave me a coupon to use to help get the cost down. I was able to get other needed items in this Walgreens too like a battery operated nasal aspirator to help suction my babies mucus. Priced reasonably at 26.99. I wasn't able to find this in any of the other major competitors near by. Overall, seems like a good stocked and friendly staffed Walgreens. read more

The pharmacy is highly problematic. I have used Walgreens for years to get my medications. I moved here from Virginia. It should not be an issue for me to pick up my prescriptions from a different Walgreens location. I requested my refills online 4 times from this location and each time the refill request disappeared. I also submitted my new insurance information only 4 times and each time it would disappear. It seems that this location was not reviewing the insurance information I was submitting online. Finally, I called this location to refill the prescription. They tell me I don't have any refills left, even though, it says in my online profile and on the bottle that I have 1 more refill. This person gets frustrated with me and puts me on hold. When someone else finally comes to the phone, I read my insurance information out over the phone. The person did not seem to understand me. I also had some trouble understanding her, so there was a slight language barrier. I even said if the insurance doesn't work, I will pay out of pocket. She couldn't tell me when it would be ready. After we hung up, I get a text saying I have an insurance issue. I go online and input my insurance for a 5th time. The refill request disappears again. I call the corporate Walgreens customer service line. I explain my issue and they transfer me to the store. Another person comes to the line and I read my insurance information once again. Finally they say it will be ready in 2 hours. I should not have had to call and give my insurance information when it is saved in my online profile. read more

They transferred me to the pharmacy where they continue to pick up and put me on hold. After 35 minutes on hold I was disconnected. I've been on hold again now for over 20 minutes... Why have "(no) customer service" reps who answer in two minutes but can't do anything? So I come here at 1 o'clock to drop off a prescription they told me it won't be ready till later on tonight so I said perfect I'll pass by at seven. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I have lived here for so many years it is my place "to go" - I know the layout and can get exactly what I want quickly. However, aside from one or two employees, the service is of the most dismal you can get anywhere. For example - the razors are under lock & key in a far corner in the back of the store. You have to ring a buzzer to get someone to open it for you. Countless times we have stood there for 10 minutes until finally someone comes and helps. Then they are nasty with the EXCEPTION of the Colombian lady, I forget what her name is.. she is awesome Same thing with the Pharmacy - they really just are too busy and can't handle the stress. So, try to head there in non peak hours and you should be ok, otherwise expect tired employees who don't give a damn and really long lines at the cashier. They should be asked to have a seat or come back so the people waiting on line can be serviced. Just picked up a routinely prescription. I have to come to this walgreens and it is always a mess. I said to the lady pharmacist that I will be only taking 1 of the 2 medicines because I had to many of the other one. She joked about it saying " good because that causes dementia" and started laughing( it is a depression and anxiety medication). I said were do you get that from? This is a nice pit stop for when you're in need of snacks or supplies. While the aisles aren't as conveniently labeled as other grocery or convenience stores, the shop is quite small and nothing is ever too far out of reach. Look out for minor deals as I noticed many items in the story had some kind of discount. I noticed a few products for a couple dollars off as well as the typical buy-one-get-one free stuff. The shelves across each aisle were pretty heavily stocked so chances are that you won't find a shortage of whatever you're in need of. Overall, this Walgreens had everything I was looking to purchase and presented very few hitches along the way. read more

I explained i had called earlier and was hanged up on and his answer was "ok....so how can I help you". I explained the medicine was wrong, he said he didn't have mine so they ordered another one. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The store is nice and the staff is friendly, but the pharmacy is a whole different story. I went with a prescription for my infant daughter, and the pharmacist told me it was over the counter and I needed to look for it in the store. I asked the ladies inside for help and they told me they had never heard of it, so I called my doctor. Turns out the pharmacist was wrong, it WAS a prescription medication and I was never going to find it over the counter. I explained this to the pharmacist and she still insisted it was over the counter and refused to wait on me. So I went to CVS and they filled my prescription within an hour. The people who work the pharmacy at Walgreens have NO CLUE what they're doing and are completely unprofessional. I was courteous and all I wanted was a prescription to help my daughter feel better, and they didn't help at all. And this isn't the only incident I have had with them. I have unfortunately had SEVERAL problems with them. They've promised me medications and when I've shown up, told me it's not ready, even after it's been several hours since the time they told me it would be ready.
